So far mixed feels. I plan on giving them a second try. Spicy bbq wings weren't exactly what I was expecting they were more of a dry run seasoned wing. But they are still delicious. My only real problem was the Homemade Potato Chips with blue cheese. I assumed (yes we all know what happens when one assumes) by the description that it was actual blue cheese crumbles melted on top of chips. But it ended up just being slathered in blue cheese dressing that tasted like ranch . I'm not a big fan of ranch or slathering anything in dressing so it was very disappointing. But that's my fault for not calling and checking before my husband went and ordered it to go. Hubby and co worker really enjoyed their wings though. Pluckers wings and sauces are much better than the average wing places. The service surely can improve. Every time we have gone and we go quiet a bit, it just seems like servers are overwhelmed. The bar is very slow, unless your sitting at the bar. The bar drinks make it to the table sometimes at the same time ur food gets there. I've only used the curb side pick up once, not doing that again. I didn't check to make sure I had everything I ordered before I left, 20 min later and 18 miles away I realized some items were missing. I did call them and complained, they sent me a $10 dollar gift card for my troubles. If it wasn't because they are the only ones that have my favorite flavor I'd probably wouldn't visit as much. Have eaten at the Houston Webster location about 5-6 times. Almost every time the experience has been very poor, but I have tried to give the franchise the benefit of the doubt only to continue to be disappointed. I really like the other locations I have eaten at, but will not return to this location. Waiters are not very attentive, service is slow, and food is always served cold or not what was ordered. Our server Marcel I believe is his name was rude and short, we finally asked where our drinks were and he said we couldn't have our drinks until quote "there was hot food on our table"?? Hmm. Ok. He didn't even bother to tell us, we had to ask. He didn't even try to offer us water while we waited. We got dirty looks from other servers as well. They do not look happy while doing their JOB. The wings were very yummy but a few of them were COVERED in hair. it looked as if they made them and then dropped it on the floor and put it back on my plate. the manager and waiter tried to say this was chicken "fur" and that it was a normal thing. However, if this was "fur" (which chickens don't have) it would have come right off in the hot grease. This implies that they had to have been dropped on the floor or just straight in fur. Out of all my complaints about this particular night, the part that made me furious was that their "policy" is that if you check in online, no matter the time, and you don't show up for your check in time, you can just come in whenever you want after that time and cut everyone in line and get your spot back. I ordered the regular mac n cheese and I don't like everybody's mac n cheese, I'm hard to please with the mac n cheese, but theirs was really good, I was amazed. Cheesy, creamy and the right amount, very tasty. Next time I'm getting the fried mac n cheese, I heard it's the best. My side salad was excellent, the presentation said it all and it was more than enough. Now on to my wings, ordered them like I like them and they cooked them as requested "naked" (meaning non batter) and well done (crisp), they came out PERFECT. I was in the mood for spicy so I chose 2 wing flavors, the Spicy Garlic Parmesan and Bakers Gold. All I can say is that I thoroughly liked both, understatement, I loved both. The Bakers Gold was just the right balance of heat and sweet and the Spicy Garlic Parm was not overpowered with the heat it was pleasantly balanced as well. Today is Veterans Day so I decided to go eat at pluckers. I walked in the front door and I told the waitress I want her section the girl that was standing right there I said put me in her section. She looked at me and knowledged me and smiled. So the hostess took me to One of her tables I didn't see her again the waitress for 5 to 7 minutes. When she finally came to my table I told her that I want a large Miller light and I wanted wings and I pointed everything out and told her what I wanted. I have fond memories of the Plucker's I would visit as a college student while attending LSU and I was excited to visit this one while in the area. The quality and price of the food did not live up to my expectations. The food wasn't necessarily bad but was just okay. Both of our chicken sandwiches had a dry bun that fell apart and the chicken was on the dry side. The kids meal for my son came with 4 wings and fries for $5.50. We had to add another $1 for a drink and $.60 for ranch for a total of $7.10. The biggest disappointment was that they charge for fry seasoning at $.85 cents a pop. Plucker's calls this seasoning "sauce." At this quality and price level after tax and tip, you're much better going elsewhere. If you're in the mood for wings, go to Wingstop. I've been to many of their locations and this restaurant is by the worst in the Houston area. Every time we eat here there is always some issue with the service or food. Today's visit we received our appetizer and seconds later our food comes out. The manager forgot to take the app off of the ticket since we did not want it anymore for obvious reasons. The manager on duty never stopped by to talk to us or even apologize. & I hate to say it, but this is the 2nd time this situation has happened when eating here. Overall, it seems that this specific location lacks customer service and poor management. Definitely not worth $50 for bad service and cold food either. SAVE THE MONEY AND DON'T EAT HERE. When I got my first order I would immediately order another so I wouldn't have to wait that long but even doing that they took around 30 between orders. I even had to flag down other waiters to get refills on my drinks. When I got the wings they were cold and barely had any sauce on them.
