My daughter was a patient at Crescent, so we thought we would try them, and a least get my wife some temporary relief until we could see our regular dentist on Monday. It was decided that the tooth needed to be extracted, and so that was done. The wound was bleeding terribly in the office, but since it was Friday afternoon we were rushed out and given a few guaze pads. Once we got in the car to head home, the wound started bleeding even worse. Since we were still in the parking lot, we went back to the office and tried to get more guaze, since by then my wife was bleeding profusely. Once we finally FOUND someone in the office, they gave us like 3 more guaze pads (generous!) and sent us on our way. (Luckily Wal-mart was close by and I was able to buy a couple packages of guaze). Later that evening, the bleeding had still not stopped so we decided a trip to the ER was in order. We found out there, the stitches done by the dentist were not ample to close the wound (an exposed vessel) and it most likely would have never stopped bleeding. Then, for the icing on the cake, a few weeks later my daughter was harassed (both by phone and in person during an appointment) in regard to an insurance question on OUR account! She is not listed as a billing contact, and is not even on the same insurance policy as my wife and I. Why was our billing information disclosed to a family member when WE had not even been contacted about the issue? (which was easily rectified once we were informed of it (second hand)). Needless to say, we wont be coming back, and will not recommend Crescent Dental to anyone.

These people made it easy and comfortable for my kiddos. They are very attentive and sensitive to the fears and trepidation that comes with little ones going to the dentist. They quickly develop a plan and help you and your kids see it through. Dr. Saucier is knowledgeable, quick, and compassionate. Her attention and ability to adjust on the fly is impressive. The people at the front desk, from reception to appointments and payments are professional, friendly and courteous. Bar none. I was told I would have to make TWO appointments--one for an exam and then one for the procedure. I asked if I could schedule both for the same day, so I didn't have to take two days off of work. They said yes, they could schedule me for an extra-long appointment, but it meant I would have to schedule two weeks out. I waited two weeks with a chipped tooth and came in. You can probably guess what happened. They took ONE photo of my tooth and told me I had a "really hard decision to make" on whether or not to fix it and I should probably "sleep on it." When I said "No, I want my tooth fixed" they reluctantly admitted they just didn't have time to do it that day. What's more, they then admitted that they NEVER actually scheduled an "extra-long appointment" and that entire promise was just a lie. Also, the "exam" they did (taking one photo of my tooth) meant that I had met my insurance's exam quota for the year, so I wouldn't be able to come in to get a cleaning for the ENTIRE year of 2025 (it is barely May). I am an attorney. I believe this is textbook "bait and switch," potential DTPA violations, as well as potential insurance fraud, and I hope they have good representation. Because if they continue to operate like this, they're probably going to get sued. Oh and also? I went to another dentist to look at the past work Vue had done on my teeth and they said it was "very poorly done" and needed to be fixed. So...the quality doesn't seem to be there either. Look for other dentists in Kyle. There are a lot cropping up now that can probably figure out how to run an appointment system and won't just churn and burn your insurance.

They are one of the very few, if not the only, providers in the area who coordinate with the VA, allowing veterans to receive care without having to drive to Austin. We both saw Dr. Matthew O'Neil, and I almost hesitate to mention his name only because he was so phenomenal and don't want to share. He was kind, professional, and had an excellent bedside manner. A staff member, either the office manager or benefits coordinator, also met with me and walked me through a detailed cost breakdown on an iPad. She explained what my insurance would cover, what my out-of-pocket costs would be, and gave me the flexibility to prioritize or decline any services. She was incredibly kind and made the entire process feel comfortable and pressure-free. In the end, I chose to move forward with all recommended treatments because the pricing was comparable to other providers in the area, and I felt very confident in Dr. O'Neil's expertise. Today, I had two fillings, three crowns, and a deep cleaning completed under IV sedation, as I have a serious fear of dental procedures a local anesthetic is hit or miss for me.
