They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. However, when the written estimate came through, it had jumped to $2,400. That lack of consistency didn't sit right with me. I then called Christmas Air, explained the situation, and received a straightforward quote over the phone that was actually a bit lower than Red Star's original estimate. They were able to come out the very next day. Denver handled the job, and he was excellent--thorough in confirming the issue, clear in explaining things, and even pointed out a few items to keep an eye on down the road. There are some thing that was wrong obviously. However, it could not be identified. I called Christmas air and Keith promptly came out to check out what was going on. He assessed the problem, determined that I needed a new fan motor and put the order in for the part that was needed. Although I couldn't get it fixed on the first day, he reassured me that, a repair would be possible. And then it was several days before the part actually came in and despite some complications eventually all needed parts were available. Now, the caveat is the fact that this company was relentless for allowing me to get as much life out of my 20+ year-old unit as possible. So, although the repair took about a week and several trips from multiple Christmas Air employees, at the end of the day, the team ensured that the problem was resolved, given a fair price, and I was followed up with each step of the way. The previous owners of my home used Christmas Air, which is why I've continued to use them. And thanks to the continual good customer service, I am planning to stay with them for the foreseeable future.

This is after spending a lot of money with them over the years. These folks have gotten too expensive and so I will looking for a new plumber.
