By the time I got home and realized the mistake, the store had already closed. When I returned the next day, I expected the error to be corrected without issue. Instead, I was told they would exchange them for the M8 fasteners I had originally paid for, and it was presented as though they were doing me a favor by not charging me the price difference--even though the mistake was theirs and I had already paid for the correct size. In the meantime, I ordered the same fasteners from McMaster-Carr. They delivered 100 M8 bolts to my door before King Bolt even reopened, and the total cost was less than what I paid King Bolt for just 40. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Between the poor resolution and the higher prices, I won't be returning.

Exterior paint ( Trim rough sawn ) Existing Dark brown stain Going to: Bear True Navy. Going to Lowe's to purchase 5 gallons of paint. High Nap paint rollers. The sells rep for Bear was extremely pushy, upselling products we do not need. We wanted the high-end exterior paint for the trim and eves of the house. The trim and eves is a Dark brown stain , we wanted to put a Navy blue paint on clean dark brown wood. The Bear sells men kept pushing primer! My husband has two shoulders that were reconstructed during surgery so working overhead is difficult, so he wanted a paint that had a primer in it, which it does, but the guy insisted and kept pushing for a primer by itself, and then the paint with a primer in it. Dark eaves and trim with new paint colors navy blue, which is dark. I understand if you have black evaes and you're going to put a white trim on them then you need a primer.. You lost a huge sale due to your Bear salesman.! Sad!! Going to take my business to Lowe's.

They have diverse options that are nicely labeled on the display and inventory section. The prices for some items are better than Home Depot. However, prices for cabinets and counter tops are more competitive elsewhere. Most stores nowadays only carry modern options, and here they carry the not-as-trending models too. Brand wise, other stores carry more options. For example, I didn't see Pfister or Kohler facets. Although the aisles are nicely labeled, it was hard finding my way around to the sections I needed without asking. Even then, not all employees knew exactly which section had the items and would give a range instead. I recommend monitoring cashier behavior. My cashier gave the impression of lacking respect for customers. She kept talking about food and lunch orders with the coworkers, looking at her nails, ignoring me as I waited at check out. It was not until I asked a third time if I could check out that I was acknowledged. Additionally, I was the only customer at checkout... I hope to see the checkout experienced improved for the future.

Beware of the store Manager here is why ! I visited…read moreMerritt's Ace Hardware on Hacienda Blvd with my e-bike because there is no secure bicycle parking outside. Before bringing it in, I asked the cashier if it was okay since I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to purchase a few items. The cashier said it was fine. A few minutes later, the store manager, who I believe is named Evan, came through the store yelling, "Whose e-bike is that?" in front of other customers. Instead of speaking to me professionally, she immediately became confrontational. I calmly explained that I only needed a few minutes to finish my purchase, but she responded by insulting me and using profanity. I'm an adult, a paying customer, and a regular shopper at this location. There was no reason for the situation to be handled with shouting and disrespect. If there was a store policy, it could have been explained politely instead of creating a scene. I reported the incident to corporate, but because this location is independently franchised, they were unable to resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store while this manager is in charge. Customers deserve professionalism and respect, not public embarrassment over a situation that could have been handled with a simple conversation. Ty

Because we ordered before 2pm they said it would be delivered today April 22 from 2-8pm. NO DELIVERY, NO CALL. Sat and waited from 2-8 with no electricity. I don't live there yet! I called them.,., they were sorry they didn't have a truck that big, and couldn't deliver on the 22nd or the 23rd the next morning. Manager Bryan said I could cancel if I liked. This morning the 23rd at 6am went to HOME DEPOT. They got my van loaded with in an hour. I needed it this morning for the contractors. LOWES I will never shop at your store again.
