We went ahead and purchased it and a little while later we finally finished our remodel. An appliance installer came to install the hood yesterday and once he peeled off the stickers he noticed the whole hood is completely dented in. Right when we heard that we called the place and sent them photos and they tell us there's nothing we can do about it even though they told us multiple times it had 0 damage. Horrible customer service. Don't buy from here! SINCE YOU LIKE TO CHANGE YOUR COMMENT 100 times because you have nothing to say I'll add a-bit more! (To come and lie to protect the business you know how to do) But to take care of customers who experienced issues with your merchandise you don't know how to do. PSA we never opened the box until yesterday. So to sit here and lie is just ridiculous. You basically said " if we had the part we'd give it to you but because we don't you'd need to pay for it ". After spending a lot of money on a hood already that turned out to be dented , you're looking to squeeze more money out of customers. This is just unacceptable. THE HOOD WAS NEVER REMOVED OUT OF THE BOX. THEY DID OPEN THE BOX TO SHOW US HOW IT LOOKED. We did not inspect for damage. They told us it had 0 damage and with good faith we purchased it. Don't blame customers for damaged appliances when you yourself know you sell damaged stuff. We contacted you almost 2 months after because we had not finished our kitchen until now and had the chance to install it. "If you really do the most for your customers and "deserve a medal" you would have ordered the damaged part. But you didn't. The first thing you did was informed me we would have to pay for it. So yes you deserve 1 single star. I'd put 0 if I could!!!

I had to cut and slash to get it in my price range. Delivery in two weeks. Fine. I went home to figure out what went wrong. For a California King, Gilbert charged me for 2 queen size box springs. Should have been 2 twins. Received a phone call from Gilbert, delivery pushed back another two weeks. Any more delays and will cancel order and ask for refund. Best part of story is mattress delivered in third week by very courteous gentleman who set up new mattress and hauled away old mattress. From my personal experience, go elsewhere for a mattress. I do highly recommend their delivery team.

With an increase of online shopping, customer service has declined in many businesses, not at Howard's in Covina. I had put off replacing my fridge because I do not like online shopping (you don't know what you are getting). I am glad I came to Howard's. The technician diagnosed the problem fixed it in a timely manner without trying to up cycle the repair and the value was great.

    We were having a few issues with our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. The freezer would accumulate frost…read morebuildup and water would leak out onto the kitchen floor. We called Covina Appliance as they were fairly local and had good Yelp reviews. We scheduled an appointment and they came out to inspect. They diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain, but they also recommended changing the drawer slides to allow for better closure. We agreed and waited several weeks for the parts to come in. Once the parts came in, the technician came out to replace the slides and clear the drain. He confirmed that the work would now resolve the issues we were experiencing. Within a few weeks, we noticed that ice was continuing to accumulate in the freezer. Given that we were out of town during the holidays, we figured we'd deal with it afterwards. We called the office and had the office staff look up the work order. They confirmed that frost buildup was part of the original request that was addressed. When we explained that the problem was not satisfactorily addressed, we were told that the labor warranty was only good for 30 days, and we were 5 days late! Unbelievable! The only offer we received was a waiver of the service triage fee, but would still be liable for the frost repair, which had already been quoted and paid for during the previous visit. Why would I even consider paying for them to come inspect it again in the first place? Not much of an offer. No thanks. Bottom line, they upsold us on drawer slides we really didn't need, but failed to resolve the actual problem. I would have expected some consideration given that we've done business with Covina Appliance a few times this past year. But given this latest encounter, I am forced to take my business elsewhere.
