One of our showers wouldn't shut off, so I had to turn off the water to the entire house. I called Rockstar, and Ricardo was at our home within three hours. Ricardo quickly diagnosed the problem and worked with Snyder Diamond and, ultimately, the faucet manufacturer to get the correct replacement cartridge. Once I saw how thorough and efficient he was, I asked him to tackle a few other projects while he was here. He performed the annual maintenance on our three tankless water heaters, replaced the worn components in three Toto toilets that have had chronic running issues after flushing, and fixed two leaking faucets that seemed to decide to act up at exactly the same time. Every job was completed quickly, and everything has worked perfectly since. What impressed me most wasn't just that Ricardo knew what he was doing. It was how efficiently he worked. He diagnosed problems quickly, came prepared, and got everything taken care of without wasting time. Today, we have a fully functioning shower, three serviced water heaters, toilets that no longer run, and faucets that don't leak. Long story short, I changed plans and am no longer getting a new water heater. But the friendly help and stellar communications from Natalia were appreciated and impressive. When I sent her a photo of the existing water heater and expressed concern about what the new, tankless water heater would look like, she sent AI (or photoshop) -generated images showing exactly what it would look like in my garage. When I shifted gears and said "Maybe we can put it outside, she addressed all of the logistical concerns, sent a tech out to go over the situation, then generated an elaborate quote that broke everything down beautifully. And then, of course, I used ChatGPT to troubleshoot what can go wrong with moving a water heater ten feet, while changing from tank to tankless and going from interior to exterior and it gave me about twenty concerns. Most of them seemed like AI nonsense but some of them were good points. Make sure your gas meter is X size, make sure your gas line is 3/4", many concerns about re-circulation situation... I'm sure the Natal and her techs new all of this and knew to determine some things on the day it was installed but Natal took every one of my concerns to heart, realized some were valid concerns that were not addressed on the first time a tech came out to quote the job so sent our another tech to take a closer look. And then I never did the job... Natal was as pleasant and sweet the last day as she was the first day. Just eager to gain my trust and do the job. Clearly, that has been most people's experience, too, as i look at these other reviews. Look, I don't get the impression that On Call Water Heaters shows up with three brand new vans all emblazoned with the name of the company in a full vehicle ad-wrap and the price she gave me reflected that... smaller outfit with less personnel that gives good pricing and good service with a good attitude. I called Extreme Plumbing for a backed up sewage system which had overflowed into our shower and…read moremaster bathroom. Alen was our main contact, although the entire team worked hard to restore our system as quickly as possible. Initially, I thought the problem just needed a rooter to clear the blockage like it has in the past. The initial quoted price was for the rooter, and I was told the price would not change without discussion. If only it had been that simple. As things go, the problem was more complicated, and they could not clear the drain. Bad news. After some discussion and an adjusted price, the next step was to use the sewer camera which resulted in determining there were some blockages that could not be cleared. It turned out that the sewer line had issues with two trees in our front yard; their roots were collapsing the original terracotta sewage line. The camera revealed 2 collapsed sections which needed repair and holes would need to be dug; in total, 60' of sewer line needed replacement. Another adjusted, reasonable price was given. Additional complications came up but Alen and his team handled them with determination. In the end, 3 other inside drains needed to be snaked or rooted out as a result of the initial blockage. All done, the cost, while substantial, was as expensive as expected, and it included a warranty. We will be doing a kitchen renovation in the near future, and will be using Extreme Plumbing for that and all our plumbing needs going forward. Alen was very courteous and professional during the whole process.
