Holy throwback vibes!! This place literally feels like you're walking back in time. If you used to…read morego skating when you were a child and are looking for some nostalgia this is definitely the spot to hit. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. I would definitely come back for a visit but try again on a non weekend day when the pricing is a little bit lower.

The music was really good as well. I loved that there is a small practice rink available that allowed me to get my bearings as I hadn't skated in a very long time. The only con was that there wasn't anyone available to help with skate selection. I figured it out but it would have been nice to have someone available to answer questions. I'll definitely return!

A Surf Store, with indoor surfing!…read more Adrenalina is a surf/sports shop in the Florida Mall which has a little something extra...an indoor surf machine! The Good: Surfing minus sand in your pants: The simulated surf machine...FlowRider, is pretty freaking cool. It's about $20 to ride one time (and a bunch of signing waivers and whatnot) but if you're itching to ride the waves while you're at the mall, well this is your only option! And if you really like the (simulated) waves you can buy FlowRider passes that guarantee you a certain amount of FlowRider time per month. Not Just Surfing: There's plenty here for the avid xtreme sports fan, from skateboarding gear to BMX biking (and there's a croc wall for SOME reason) If you need gear, Adrenalina will get you want you need. The Bad: Dripping around the Mall: You can really tell who has been to Adrenalina as those will be the moister people walking around. Sure new clothes and a towel get off most of the moisture, but you really can always tell. Overall 9.6/10 Indoor Surfing and Shopping experience

Just forget the beach is only an hour away, and you'll be golden to surf right in the mall. We were so excited to find Eccentric Cycle, because they claim to work on E-scooters--not many…read moreplaces do. Because we live more than an hour away, we called them first to ask them if they would assemble a brand new Teewing X5, still in the box, and they assured us that they would do it right away, for an extra charge of $50 to "skip the line." Even though the assembly of the scooter consisted only of attaching the handlebars and putting on the mirrors, the charge was $150, not including the $50 charge for rush service. But I was happy to pay it because I wanted to make sure that the E scooter had been checked and was safe. The website claims that a test ride is done with the assembly, and with any maintenance work. We were excited to go over and get the Teewing assembled, tested, and ready for its first ride. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at 1:00 PM and were told that we could pick it up around 4-5 PM, especially since it states even in the manual that the minimal assembly required will take 15 minutes or less. We wondered why we had paid the extra $50, but didn't want to argue. When we returned to pick it up, a test ride had not been done and they said they were unable to do it. So we unwisely accepted that response and made the hour drive home. Our test ride revealed that the scooter had a "death wobble," that the brakes hadn't been adjusted properly, and that the bolts holding on the blinkers hadn't been tightened. Since it was after 6 PM at this time, the business was closed, so I left a statement in their "Contact Us" form on the website, advising them of these problems. I let them know that we would be returning. We took the scooter back this morning. And they did nothing. They advised my son that the death wobble was to be expected with the Teewing, and told him that the brakes simply needed to be broken in. So now we're back to square one, minus over $200. I noticed that the reviews here are for electric bikes, and the reviews are all good. I can't speak to that portion of the business - but if you're looking for somewhere to take your E scooter, keep looking; Eccentric Cycle isn't the place to go. UPDATE: Response to owner I wasn't concerned with the "skip the line fee," but since you brought it up, and seem bothered by it, I'll note that you were the one who told me on the phone before my son came in that it was $50. I'll also note that the $212.87 total, as shown in the screenshot, means that you either charged $48 for the fee or you charged $153 for the assembly of the E scooter. That certainly wasn't the point of my review, but those are the facts. My son was not told until yesterday that the death wobble was to be expected; nor was he told until yesterday about the need for a steering stabilizer. Had he been given this information when he initially picked up the scooter, we would have gladly paid to have this modification made. After reading the other reviews, we were so excited to have found your shop, because it seemed as if we had found a place that took their work seriously, and cared about their customers. So it seems as if this is something you might have mentioned to him initially, in the interest of safety. As to the brakes, both my son and his friend state that no adjustment to the brakes was made yesterday, and that he was told only that they needed to be broken in. You say that there were adjustments made to the brakes, and that my son said they were now fine. How could that possibly have happened without having him test the brakes? My son also asked you yesterday about the three missing screws at the bottom of the main stem of the scooter. He was told that these screw holes were for some accessory "like a basket." On the bottom of the stem? Seriously? I honestly wish that I could come in to view the video of the assembly, because neither I nor any scooter rider I've since discussed this with can believe that it took your mechanic well over an hour to attach some handlebars and mirrors, click on the optional seat--which then had to be removed, put on the front pack--which we had to adjust when he returned home because it was up too high and couldn't be opened due to the wires, and failed to tighten the bolts on the blinkers, which we had to fix ourselves when he arrived home; and those loose bolts alone are enough to make anyone wonder what else could have been missed. Because I'm disabled, I'm unable to make the trip, so I'll have to take your word on the video. I have no doubt that you're good at what you do; we chose your business based on the reviews. I simply wish that we had received the same wonderful, customer-centered service that the other reviewers speak about. I stand by my review, it was an expensive lesson, and a huge disappointment.
