Chad and crew are awesome! They've taken care of me with multiple bikes and annoying requests. Their specialty is BMX however they also work on regular bikes and skateboards as well. Hidden Gem in Longwood . I was having some issues with my crank arm staying tight on my bike . Walked in and was greeted by Dave who's super welcoming and has a fantastic attitude. Dave propped up the bike , and quickly assessed the issue. Turned out to be something minor and fixed me up pronto . Dave made my first experience an awesome one. I'm local so this is now my Go-To bike shop . They have reasonable and affordable prices for tune ups, repairs, and just in general . I had been coming and getting my basic bikes serviced off and on without much more than brake issues or servicing of some sort for a few years. Now my son had a good mountain bike that had a broken part and was told the part would cost $100 so decide to think on it, in the mean time I find a used bike--looked fine, but son does not find it to really work so I bring it into B&B. The employeee says it needs a tune up & that the tires are worn really bad.. They say they will "service bike & put on the tires from my mountain bike" for $30 and my son will be good to go" Well fine, come to pick it up , NOW my 14 yr old son can STILL not ride past our house without the chain doing something funky and its not rideable. Bring it back a few days later, they call me and say OK we fixed it. Try it again SAME thing is happening. So hassel and bring it back again (do not live that close by either & their hours do not jive that well with mine), I come back 3rd time now, I'm just matter of fact neutral , explain whats happening and I have my receipt. Who ever is working there (I did not get his name!!!) --responds bizarrely with : We can NOT keep fixing your bike and not charge you for it. I said what do you mean, I paid $30 and 2xs already, I take it home and it is in the exact same condition, same occurrence when my teenager tries to take off. I am under the impression that no one really has the time, interest, know how to fix a conventional bike now...In hind sight I have to wonder, Did anyone RIDE the bike once they "fixed it, looked at it, spun the wheels"???? If they actually did they would experience what was happening. So this cold employee, slender dark kind of short hair--who I don't know for sure if I dealt with him before, repeats rather audaciously, that they CAN NOT keep fixing the bike if I do not pay for it....repeats this again , now in my head, I am getting disgusted, I explain that I DID pay & IT NEVER rode out of our property. He tells me to now talk to Chad the owner and Chad will not be back for a week. So the back goes BACK in my car again. I call after a week, "Chad will not be back...now for blah blah...." is the reply. I am so disheartened and taken aback at this erroneous assumption that my son is just having a good old time riding this bike and that he is breaking it .....no such thing, its just collecting dust for weeks on end. So MANY months later, my son has no bike of his own, and I am out $30 etc. I decide to take it back to the place I bought it from ( a 2nd hand store so no returns accepted) and the worker there looks at it and shortly says it the cover of the chain gear that is bent in a bit and that is causing the chain to come off every time you try to ride it. He is not a bike repairer. To deal with B&B after how I was treated, leaving me intimidated and feeling unwelcome, when I am the most mild mannered gracious person (who owned a creative design shop for many years & have life long friend from the biz....) I am very conscientuous as a patron to places and respectful of professionalism. Ends up I just sold the bike on Craigslist for less than I paid, and explained the problem in the ad. A guy bought it, and was intending to just do the little unbending of the cover there at the chain. Very very disappointing, cuz I like to support independent biz, but I really started to feel that it was an imposition to have a non BMX or skate patron walking through the doors--esp. by grouchy, unsmiley, irrational dude. read more

Bought a brand new subrosa from them in dec of 2020. He made sure I got the best bike for what I did. The original bike I was gonna get wouldn't have lasted me a year. Explained everything super well and didn't make me feel dumb in the process. I've been back multiple times to have them service it and have never been disappointed. Pricing for services are also so reasonable. Tightening spokes/truing wheel was $80 at a shop where I used to live. He's doing it for $15 (although pricing may go up if you have a really outta wack wheel. Mine wasn't all that bad). Great selection, great customer service, and great dude running it. read more

I should've thought twice about using this shop when the guy ahead of me in line had 2 bikes in the shop for 10 days and the work was still not completed even though he was told it was and had to leave. I love supporting local businesses so I threw caution to the wind and gave it a shot. My bike was in rough condition after being in storage for some time and needed a tune up and cleaned up, plus new tubes. Everything else was working properly. I was told it would take 1-2 days, no problem. I call in the next day to get an update and was told they had started work already but would be another day, no big deal so far. The next day I get a call stating my gear shift levers were inop and needed to be replaced(they worked before dropping the bike off). After explaining they worked before dropping it off I was met confusion like I was speaking another language. They kept asking what I wanted to do and I just wanted my bike fixed but it would cost ME money. Needless to say I just had them stop and I picked up my bike the next day. Do not trust your bicycle or any other equipment with this place and drive further for better service or just use a chain shop. read more

The store is owned by bike Pro Chad Degroot (he also owns Deco bike brand), who is known for Flatland Freestyle riding. The shop is clearly catering to that crowd. If you are looking for a place that will build you a custom street park or flatland BMX bike, this is the place to go. There is a ton of parts and frames. I bought my girlfriends Fit there, as well as some parts to go with it. I like the vibe of the store quite a bit. My only complaints are that it can be a bit pricey to build a bike, and be prepared to drop a few bucks, as this place isn't exactly cheap. My other advice is stock more complete bikes. They only have about 6 built bikes in stock. I know that the serious BMXer will build their own bike, but you will sell a 10x more $300 prebuilt bikes than $1200 custom builds. Parents who aren't big on BMX just want to show up with their kids, have them pick out a bike, and take it home for a reasonable price. read more

First, they have connections to several of the top companies. This ensures that you get the best price and selection. Second, the folks that work there are experts. They welcome any questions you may have and will not look down on you for not knowing a lot about the products. Third, the shop is on all the social media networks, so you can follow and be alerted to the sales/promotions that come out. Lastly, there isn't anything better than having options to select from.
