This place is really going downhill. I've had five treatments here. The price was good. Lower legs, knees, feet, toes, underarm and chin for $175 per treatment. The front desk staff was always a bit curt with me but today they really blew it. I showed up for my appointment and they said that it was cancelled. They said they had tried to call me but they never left a message. So how am I supposed to know they were trying to get in touch with me? I don't know anyone from Seal Beach (the number they were calling from) and they kept calling and hanging up so I thought it was a wrong number. Just leave a message! Plus, my favorite technician quit since my last appointment in the summer. When I first started coming they had at least three techs on at all times. Now there is only one?! I had some work done at an upscale clinic on the west side, and to say I wasn't happy with the work done is an understatement. So I decided to have the rest of my work done elsewhere, and after reading some reviews for Plus Derma, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Reza. He was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. I ended up getting the the rest of my Botox done with him. A couple weeks later I had a follow up appointment, and I explained how happy I was with his work; and that I should have come to Plus Derma sooner, bc the doctor I had gone to before him did a subpar job. Several months ago, I booked my first laser hair removal treatment with Plush Derma. The office has a very bright clean feel. The entire staff are wonderful people. All the nurses who took care of me during my treatments were very gentle and attentive. I met with Dr. Reza couple of times for consultations. He is very friendly, considerate and well mannered. All awesome people you should meet. I highly recommend going to this place because there its affordable compared to others and they use LightSheer Duet. Its like a heated vacuum. There is no pain of rubber bands snapping on your skin nor smell of burnt hair (They ask you shave prior to treatment). The treatment itself is fast and painless...unless you are sensitive to heat. The nurse will consistently ask during the treatment if you are ok and if the heat is too hot for you. You really just feel suction and heat. Only thing I do not like about this machine is if you have not so meaty legs it will not be able to suck in your skin as well. The nurse had a little trouble doing my lower shin and ankles. But she is able to make it work by squeezing my bony shin and ankles as she run the device. Results vary from person to person so be patient! I didn't see significant results till about my 3rd treatment. Two weeks after my 4th treatment was when I had my big whoa! moment. I did a virtual cartwheel to celebrate! Come on, I had to. I mean no more itchy, nasty ingrown looking red bumps the day after shaving! That is worth celebrating right?! Also, what's nice about this place is they do not sell package treatments. So you can stop treatment once you are happy with the result. Yay to hairless legs!! read more

This procedure was quicker and less painful than waxing. If you do your underarms, BEWARE: no deodorant allowed for 2-3 days only baby powder! They have great specials. This place is excellent, I've been here a total of three times for my laser hair removal and it's worked wonders! I went in today to get a mole removed and a skin tag on my face. I was pretty worried because it is my face we are dealing with, but the doctor put me at ease. The procedure was very fast. You dont really feel too much pain, you kind of just feel a tickling sensation. Youll smell a faint burning smell but its nothing extreme. Overall The experiencs went really well. I recently got under eye fillers because my dark circles were getting so much worse. I consulted Dr. Ghazi and he suggested that it wasn't my dark circles that made me look old but the fat deposits under my eye were depleting (which was true, due to weight loss/age). It's unfortunate that after my past reviews on Plush were nothing but good words. However, I have not returned for a reason after my visit for my last session about 2 months ago. I was quite satisfied with my results after my 3rd session. But when I had my 4th session done and came back for a follow up weeks later, my hair had grown more and in places that I have never had hair before.. not to mention I had ingrown hairs that were taking over the back of my thighs. I understand there are things that can happen when getting this type of cosmetic procedure done, so I asked to see Dr. Ghazi to discuss the issue. Instead Dr. Ghazi had nothing to say but that it wasn't because of the laser and that it wasn't ingrown but in fact irritation (?) .. As if I had no idea what an ingrown was. It was very belittling and unprofessional. Although I feel that it quite common for doctors to defend their practice, I wasn't all too bothered that he didn't address my situation for what it was rather he kept pushing more laser sessions and repeating the same explanation for a good 5 minutes. That's about when I've had enough. And upon addressing the issue of hair regrowth he explained that the procedure does not make hair grow but kill hair... which is awkward because when I had brought up the issue the nurse said that the hair tends to grow back more after a certain session, as she's seen it happen to other patients. So I don't know what makes sense here. After being very satisfied and hundreds of dollars poorer, I was back at square one but with even more of an issue than before. I left after I met with Dr. Ghazi and have not returned since. I would have rather spent a lot of money on less sessions with a lot more professionalism. Considering that their "lotion" was to blame for "irritation." read more
