Looking for a place to grab lunch, we found this small, unassuming restaurant in Neah Bay--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. We even had the pleasure of meeting Pat herself, and she made us feel like longtime friends. That welcoming atmosphere made the experience just as memorable as the food. We ordered the famous Indian taco, served on fresh homemade fry bread, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fry bread was warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and piled high with delicious toppings. We couldn't leave without trying the sweet fry bread dessert, and it was incredible. Warm, lightly crisp, and topped with cinnamon and sugar, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Pat's Place is cash only, so be sure to plan ahead, but don't let that stop you from visiting. If you're exploring Cape Flattery, Neah Bay, or anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula, this restaurant is absolutely worth the short detour. Great food, wonderful people, generous portions, and authentic local hospitality made this one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. The crazy part is some of the food was actually really good. The mac and cheese balls were really good and so were the fries. The elk burger was easily the worst thing we ordered and basically just tasted like a regular burger.
