    Fresh fish dinner
    Christina L.

This was one of the only places open when I was in town over the weekend. If you're here late at night be patient there was just one lady doing everything. She was the host, cook, server, cashier and doing togo orders! Usually when I have to wait a while I'll cruise around on my phone, but my cell reception was not the best. Luckily there are so many books along the heated bench wall that I got lost in a Best of TIME magazine photographs book. I had the fresh fish which was oven roasted steelhead with herbs and it wasn't overcooked and really delicious! Roasted potatoes, asparagus and a small salad. I came in and the place was empty, but by the time I was leaving she was taking care of four other groups of people she did a great job!

The cutest pizzeria i have ever been to. Situated right across the ocean, a family run business. They make some reaaallllyyyy good pizza. Dont be fooled by their remote location. I had ordered a customized pizza- chicken, olives, onions. The crust was perfect, marinara was lip smacking. They have a couple of art books about Indian culture and history. Coffee is awesome too!! Thanks for the experience. Highly highly recommended!!!

I'm on a work trip out to Neah Bay, a small fishing community in Makah lands at the northwest corner of Washington, and my friends and I decided to check out Linda's for dinner. It was a fun experience...a lot like being in a big crowded dining room of someone's house, where you call out your order and get your own beverage. Homey, simple, welcoming and good. I shared a 16" thin crust pizza from the wood fired oven with two friends. I'd guess the recipe called for baking it for, say, 10 minutes but they left it in for about 11 1/2 minutes, so it was a bit burned and dry, but tasty and made with love. The rest of the group got the fish special--nice big pieces of salmon that were probably caught today a few miles away and then baked in the wood oven and served with potatoes and salad. They all wolfed it down pretty happily...when you're in a fishing village, order the fish special! We didn't have a chance to try the homemade pies and homemade ice cream but the homemade cookies were excellent.

Fresh fish dinner (white king salmon, salad, and potatoes/cucumbers/onions roasted to perfection).

Can't speak for the lodging or pizza here, but my goodness the fresh fish dinner was phenomenal! Waiting for our food took about 30 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. The white king salmon was seasoned well, and cooked to exactly the perfect texture--it was very fresh, and we were given generous portions. The vegetables (potatoes, cucumbers, onions) were also roasted to perfection. Everything was pretty greasy, but probably one of the best meals I've ever had!

Absolutely delicious pizza. Had the combo supreme along with bread sticks and salad. And fast friendly service to go with it.

To be honest, I completely understand why. This cafe is a step above the rest. The inside is cozy, with a cabin-esque vibe and clear ceilings in their dining room for an indoor-outdoor feel. Despite the line of 20+ people, Shirley Delicious worked like a well oiled machine. Their menu included breakfast, lunch, and even a flight of soup (which I so desperately wanted). I ordered their date pastry, a hot caramel latte, and breakfast sandwich with avo. Each item was absolutely delicious. This is also a great location to shop for island goodies. Their storefront is filled with jams, sauces, metal working artwork, etc. Can't believe they can pack so much goodness into four little walls!

Just a heads up that lunch time can get busy and there may be a bit of a wait. The jalapeno burger was good, and the shake and soft serve were fine. But honestly, the fries were the standout for me. They even had a sign up saying they won an award for their fries or something lol, and I can see why. They were actually really good. The whole place has that small town vibe, and it was kind of fun seeing a bunch of tourists stopping by because of Twilight too. Not a must-go destination food stop or anything, but definitely a good option if you're in Forks and want something quick and casual.

After our order was ready someone got up and left so we were able to sit down but the tables weren't getting cleaned off in between people. I don't know if this is due to the quick turnaround of people trying to get a seat. The burgers weren't bad but nothing really special. Just an average burger. I accidently ordered the super burger and man, that thing is massive. I could only finish half of it. It was almost the size of my face. There wasn't much sauce on it. It was a pretty dry burger. The fries are good. The mozzarella sticks would have been ok if they had a better "marinara sauce" tomato paste is not marinara sauce. It made it a little unpleasant to eat. I love tomatoes just not tomato paste. Our order came out within 15 min despite being very busy. If I came back I would probably try some different menu items.

We originally planned to hike Cape Flattery, but thick coastal fog had other ideas. Looking for a place to grab lunch, we found this small, unassuming restaurant in Neah Bay--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. We even had the pleasure of meeting Pat herself, and she made us feel like longtime friends. That welcoming atmosphere made the experience just as memorable as the food. We ordered the famous Indian taco, served on fresh homemade fry bread, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fry bread was warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and piled high with delicious toppings. We couldn't leave without trying the sweet fry bread dessert, and it was incredible. Warm, lightly crisp, and topped with cinnamon and sugar, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Pat's Place is cash only, so be sure to plan ahead, but don't let that stop you from visiting. If you're exploring Cape Flattery, Neah Bay, or anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula, this restaurant is absolutely worth the short detour. Great food, wonderful people, generous portions, and authentic local hospitality made this one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area, and we highly recommend stopping in--you'll leave with a full stomach and a smile. Check out our video on our socials @reessroots
