WOOOWWWW!!! We visited Neah bay as a romantic get away In February, and I had meant to leave this review when I was there ... I've been thinking about it since. So much so we are coming back In August for Macah Days. There was a younger woman who helped us. Late night we walked in and she is playing the soundtrack to Studio Ghiblis Spirited Away. So relaxing and nostalgic. It became the soundtrack for our visit. Pizza was AMAZE seasoned with what I recognized as Penzeys spices and herbs. Lindas hand thrown dough, in house marinara and if season allows fresh salmón/ chantrelles. Each of my meals was carefully crafted in this intimate setting. This restaurant is what had me download Yelp initially. Forever changed. read more

Food good, but limited supply. Had no fish products, which is what I came here for and was excited for because I am a 4.5-hour drive from here. Took over 30 minutes from my $17 14-inch pizza to come. staff at front desk would just chit chat that you could hear the kitchen staff call out to clean tables, check in on guests, etc lol Pizza came absolutely burnt on the border crusts, as you can see in this picture. Pizza good, but that crust... Felt like a waste and it is usually my favorite part! :( Thank gosh that each booth had a power outlet so that I could charge my phone. This was one of the only places open when I was in town over the weekend. If you're here late at night be patient there was just one lady doing everything. She was the host, cook, server, cashier and doing togo orders! Usually when I have to wait a while I'll cruise around on my phone, but my cell reception was not the best. Luckily there are so many books along the heated bench wall that I got lost in a Best of TIME magazine photographs book. I had the fresh fish which was oven roasted steelhead with herbs and it wasn't overcooked and really delicious! Roasted potatoes, asparagus and a small salad. The cutest pizzeria i have ever been to. Situated right across the ocean, a family run business. They make some reaaallllyyyy good pizza. Dont be fooled by their remote location. I had ordered a customized pizza- chicken, olives, onions. The crust was perfect, marinara was lip smacking. They have a couple of art books about Indian culture and history. Coffee is awesome too!! we thought it was gonna be banging. You see an actual pizza oven in the back the paddles to get them in and out It wasn't even good. It was so greasy and the crust was just flour no seasoning either. When we walked in we told the girl at the front we wanted 2 pepperoni and 1 cheese. She asked us what size and she told us 12,14&16 so we said 16. Then she asked us what we ordered again and then asked what size we wanted again. She never once mentioned the paper plates to the side there were spoons and knives but no forks and they serve salad . One of the girls that works there but wasn't on the clock was leaned all up on the (customer side) of the counter with no regard for customers coming in and ordering. Then after the few of us ordered she decided to sit behind the counter and maybe answer a phone call but she wasn't on the clock. The plants in the front window were pretty but can we get the dead leaves out at least once before they actually die or before the store is closed for good There's no places to eat out here. You'd think they'd want to make it the best place so people would return but it's so sad Why don't folks have pride anymore . I'm on a work trip out to Neah Bay, a small fishing community in Makah lands at the northwest corner of Washington, and my friends and I decided to check out Linda's for dinner. It was a fun experience...a lot like being in a big crowded dining room of someone's house, where you call out your order and get your own beverage. Homey, simple, welcoming and good. I shared a 16" thin crust pizza from the wood fired oven with two friends. I'd guess the recipe called for baking it for, say, 10 minutes but they left it in for about 11 1/2 minutes, so it was a bit burned and dry, but tasty and made with love. The rest of the group got the fish special--nice big pieces of salmon that were probably caught today a few miles away and then baked in the wood oven and served with potatoes and salad. They all wolfed it down pretty happily...when you're in a fishing village, order the fish special! We didn't have a chance to try the homemade pies and homemade ice cream but the homemade cookies were excellent. read more

We had such an amazing experience here! The owner and staff were very friendly. We spent some time talking to the owner who had just come back from fishing that afternoon. He offered us some of the Salmon that he had caught - so that's of course what I had for dinner. The salmon was prepared phenomenally - Most amazing and fresh fish I've ever had. My husband had the pizza which he definitely enjoyed. It was a small space that got very busy since there aren't many restaurants in Neah Bay. The service was also really slow - but we came to expect slower service in Neah Bay than what we're used to in Seattle. read more

Being in Neah Bay and the peninsula was fabulous. Fortunately, we planned to cook and eat at the place we were staying (Bullman Beach Inn) with one outing to Linda's after reading reviews here at Yelp. It's clean, open, not too large and a friendly place. We ordered 3 pies for our group of 6 and nearly finished them. They were all good, even better then good but not great. The wood fired aspect was wonderful but I noticed the pies needed to be rotated more as one side was burnt (not charred) on all 3 pies. The crust was good but not airy which leads me to believe Linda makes her dough fresh daily. Great pizza, the dough is made fresh the day before it is used so it get's all stretchy and the thin crust has air pockets and is sooooo good. However, the pies were satisfying, tasted very good and Linda's is a must stop if you want to eat out when visiting the top left corner of the continental USA. read more

What a find! LInda's wood fired pizza is terrific. If I had found Linda's on the first night I wouldn't have even tried the other places. I'd eat there every night. My group ordered 2 pizzas. It took some time but when you watch the pizza maker slice sausage and ham by hand and roll out your dough you should have some patience for the process. Our pizzas turned out awesome. I would have liked the edges a little more charred but the pizza was done, hot and crispy. So delicious. I've been in town three nights on a fishing trip. Do not go to the fish and chips/teriyaki place behind Big Salmon guide service. My husband got halibut and fries.... They had to be Gordon's frozen fish sticks they were charging $18 for 3 pieces. Robbery. And is chicken katsu really fried chicken with ketchup on it? I've never had it before but that's what I got. read more

This place is pretty good. For the setting, it's great. The pizzas are cooked by wood fire. The heat was a little uneven the last time causing the crust to cook unevenly. The toppings are good and there is fine selection. One word of caution is that if this place gets too busy the owner actually closes down. Capatalism isn't her first language. Linda makes a good pie but she's not down with a bunch of stress to make a buck. This is definitely the best place in town for dinner after a day of fishing or hiking around the Makah reservation. read more

Can't speak for the lodging or pizza here, but my goodness the fresh fish dinner was phenomenal! Waiting for our food took about 30 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. The white king salmon was seasoned well, and cooked to exactly the perfect texture--it was very fresh, and we were given generous portions. The vegetables (potatoes, cucumbers, onions) were also roasted to perfection. Everything was pretty greasy, but probably one of the best meals I've ever had! read more

I arrived in Neah Bay on Sunday, September 30, 2012, and was thrilled to see that Linda's was open. I had read online that sometimes she has chanterelle mushrooms for pizza, and sure enough, one of the nightly specials was a chanterelle pizza! Sign me up! Linda also had a special of oven-roasted ling cod (one of my faves!), with oven-roasted veggies and a side salad. Perfectly cooked ling cod, delicious veggies, and the side salad had local raspberries and other treasures with a light vinaigrette. I cleaned the plate! Linda is a genius. The pizza arrived while I was enjoying the filling ling cod, and it was PERFECTION! But I was already filling up with the awesome ling cod, so I only had two pieces of pizza. Did I mention it was perfection? Excellent crisp crust, olive oil and garlic on top, abundant chanterelles, and FRESH mozzarella that did not interfere with the chanterelles. Perfection! I took the leftovers home. I had been fantasizing about this pizza since I started planning this trip, and it did not disappoint. It exceeded expectations. Linda is a genius. As if this weren't enough, Linda shared some freshly smoked black cod collars. OMFG! Absolute deliciousness from Linda's husband's talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Linda and her husband are geniuses. After dinner, Linda showed me the two rooms that she rents as part of her B&B. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! Linda's husband did much of the artwork and decor in the rooms, and they are magnificent! Anyone would be happy and comfortable in these rooms, and I was honored that she took the time to show them to me. I can only imagine what breakfasts she serves. Linda and her husband are geniuses (and both are so much fun, with great personalities!). The only downside was that Linda's is closed on Mondays, so I had to eat elsewhere. The upside is that I took the leftover chanterelle pizza to my lodging (Bullman Beach Inn), put it in the fridge, and then took it with me on Tuesday when I drove to Port Angeles in the wee morning hours to catch the 8:30 ferry to Vancouver Island. I loved nibbling on that delicious pizza and drinking coffee while driving. What an amazing experience and memory all around. Linda and her husband are geniuses! read more

Unfortunately we already had a room reserved in the near by town of Sekiu, because when we got a tour of the two stunning rooms above the restaurant we were ready to stay there instead. Soaking tubs in the beautifully crafted bathrooms, and the main rooms were classy and comfortable. We did stay for the awesome wood fired pizza, the house special with pepperoni, onions, sausage, black olives, with an add-on topping of fresh-picked chantrelles. One of the best pizzas we've had in years, and Linda & husband were friendly and informative folk. We're also looking forward to trying the fresh-baked cinnamon apple bread we brought back to the motel for dessert/breakfast. Linda's would be an excellent secret hideaway for a penisula trip. This place is so quaint and the owners are so sweet. The original house was passed down from their great grandmother, and about 10 years ago, Linda took the lead and made it into a successful restaurant that also has a motel upstairs. The food is great! The pizza is actually pretty darn good, and I am a pizza snob from New England. The best dish is probably the King Salmon though, which is caught fresh daily in the waters right off the Makah Reservation here in Neah Bay. Linda and her husband, didn't catch his name, were there both times we came in, working the business with a personal touch. Come see this cool spot on the Neah Bay and you will also learn a bit of Makah history, as they have Makah art and historical info on the walls. A must see if you come to Neah Bay! read more

What an experience! We stayed in one of the beautiful upstairs rooms, with a soaking tub, overlooking the marina. Linda's husband caught the salmon, Linda smoked it, and we had fresh smoked salmon pizza, homemade rhubarb pie, a beautiful salad, and purchased homemade granola for breakfast. DH had wood-fired pizza, which was good, but the fresh fish with roasted potatoes was amazing! The ling cod was super fresh and moist, and the salmon came out of the ocean an hour before. The fish is kind of hidden on the menu, so you have to look carefully. This place is more than just pizza! read more

Short staffed.. was told we had to wait 30 min for our pizza and ended up waiting over an hour. One of the cooks dropped our pizza on the floor and we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for that pizza. Pizza this good would come highly recommended in almost any town but in the remote Native American reservation town of Neah Bay, it's magnificent! A lot of the ingredients are made in house (e.g. sausage) or locally sourced and seasonal. A lot of pizza aficionados would state that the crust makes the pizza. In the case of Linda's creations, the crust is just perfect thanks to the titular wood-fired oven. Linda also often has home made confections, jams, jellies, and other assorted goodies for sale. The restaurant including the restrooms are exceptionally clean and well lit. If you're in Neah Bay, do yourself a favor and have a fresh pizza at Linda's! read more

There are not many motel/hotel choices in Neah Bay (such a remote place), but Linda's is very nice. The pizza is very good, and can be customized with local ingredients (like smoked salmon). There are also two rooms available above, that blew my wife and me away at how luxurious they were for the location, and the views from the rooms are as good as they get of the bay. The price was $135, but it was something we were pleased to pay and feel we got our money's worth as a final destination on a long road trip. There is also free Wifi, the speed is a bit slow but works. We used it to make VOIP phone calls since our AT&T cell service was useless out here. read more

Our family had just finished a 13 mile hike and we were STARVING. We were so excited to find pizza let alone wood fired pizza in this little town. The service is to be desired. We walked in, the waitress said "sit where ever, grab your own drinks here in the cooler and cups are across the room" wow, I felt like I was at home. Don't overlook this place! The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back. The wood fired pizza is excellent; we had a pesto artichoke pizza with homemade feta. Maybe 3.5 instead of four stars if it were in a larger town...but it isn't. It's in Neah Bay, population about 850. I'm often surprised that so many Yelpers apply the same standards to places like this that they do to restaurants in New York or Los Angeles. We've traveled to small towns all over the western half of the country, and a restaurant this good is rare in a town this size. Service was fine, food was tasty, and if you don't like the prices (which seemed OK to me), remember, everything has to come down the same road that brought you here. read more

Friendly and relaxed little restaurant with a view of the bay from across the street. I had a hawaiian pizza for lunch and it was super good. Smallest they had was 14", and for someone traveling alone like me it was too much. I didn't want to waste so I ate it all and was miserable, so it would've been nice if they had a smaller/personal size on the menu. They had homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that I got for later and they were delicious. Also had homemade root beer which sounded great but I didn't try. read more
