Nice little diner like atmosphere, small but cozy with water views, here on a Monday afternoon was a nice steady business of locals and tourists with one person running the front of the house and doing an excellent job! She was attentive and checked in regularly given the amount of people seated at the tables. I went with the local catch of the day fish and chips, Ling Cod. I must say, I've eaten a lot of fish and chips in the PNW during my travels here and this place had some of my favorite! There are really limited restaurants in Neah Bay. We were excited to try Warmhouse! From the outside, it looks like a newish building. Inside, there's lots of space and we got into one out of two booths in the main dining area. I asked to order local grilled fish.... Alas, no local cod. No local halibut. In fact, no local any type of seafood! (What the heck? Folks come to Neah Bay for cod and halibut fishing!) Everything else offered in the seafood section is FRIED. Not local means they buy boxed Costco or Safeway frozen cod for fish and chips. Ugh. I didn't know what to order. The waitress was nice and allowed us extra time to figure things out. It took a while. Jon settled for the bean burger and fries. I settled for an order of fried mozzarella sticks. Jon's burger was MEH. His French fries were hot, and tasty. My mozzarella sticks definitely tasted like Applebee's but still yummy, so I let it roll. Just HATE the fact I ate mozzarella sticks for dinner in Neah Bay! Four of us were in Neah Bay on vacation and some local recommended this restaurant so we said let's try it. The two ladies ordered salads and one added cheese, called "grilled cheese kids," and they both enjoyed their salads. Both my brother-in-law and I ordered Fresh Salmon & Chips and the salmon delicious! I ordered waffle fries to go with my salmon and would give them a 'B-' but edible. Our table was at the window with a nice view of the water, which the ladies really liked. Beth is an excellent server with a good sense of humor and was helpful when asked questions. I asked to take a picture of her to post and she said the only way I could is if I was in it, so my wife took our picture. One thing I haven't been charged ever before but have heard about: there was 3% "credit card surcharge to cover the cost of accepting credit cards." I'd recommend this restaurant as we all enjoyed our salads and salmon. read more

Cape Flattery seriously has limited food options, and we chose to stop at this diner like place (not a restaurant for sure) in Neah Bay. View of the Shi Shi Beach is amazing on a sunny day, we even saw the famous bald eagles from here. We ordered Chicken Burger and Red Devil Burger-- both were average, could have been so much better, though. Fries come along with the Burger and were ok as well. read more

I must say I really enjoyed my meal here. I don't know what it was but everything just hit the spot. Atmosphere: It was early open which I appreciated since we were hiking. I enjoyed being able to watch the birds play in the water next to the restaurant. The Eagle that flew by to catch a fish helped give this place a 5 star rating. Service was friendly and attentive. There's a patio for outdoor seating but that part was closed. Looks nice when it would be open. Food: I was really really feeling the Chicken Fried Steak. It was massive (see pic) and so filling. The meat was breaded well and was so tender and thick. The gravy was flavorful and so yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I love how they added paprika to it and just gave it that extra flavor. Toast with butter and jam was basic but so good regardless. Partner got the french toast and sausage and everything there was good too. I don't know why this place doesn't get better reviews. The service was really good and the food was really good as well. The fried halibut and chips was done so perfectly. Not greasy at all. It was so good. The clam chowder in a bread bowl was so good too. And you have views of the water and fishing boats. read more

We visited in the off season and sat at a great window table with a view of the marina. Hostess/ server was very nice, very helpful and made good suggestions. She explained that only the ling cod was local today. We had delicious clam chowder better than the chowder we had at a fancy lodge in ONP. The fries and fish were hot and homemade tartar sauce was tasty. We were delighted to have such a good meal and great service in such a small rural community. read more

Everything was absolutely delicious! We started with the shrimp cocktail and it was perfect, perfectly cold & had a nice fresh snap to it. I had the steak, shrimp, with a baked potato, my husband had the local halibut dinner, and our toddler had the kid's cheeseburger. All of our food was perfectly cooked, with great flavor, and so fresh tasting. We couldn't have asked for a better cooked meal. Asked the waiter if maybe it was a mistake she checked with the kitchen and said it's Halibut for sure they just got it today. On our trip to Neah Bay, WA, we found there were only a couple of options for lunch. We chose the Warmhouse. It is situated on the water with a view of the Sound. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very nice and welcoming. The restrooms were spotless. My wife and I shared the fish and chips, with her also having a strawberry lemonade. She said the lemonade was the real deal and was worth the trip to Neah Bay. Unfortunately the fish and chips were not great. The food was really oily and Thad the taste of the oil needing to be changed. Considering where Neah Bay is, how difficult to get supplies, and the limited choices, we would still recommend this restaurant. We simply may have had a bad day for fish and chips. read more

Food is very good, friendly folks and serene view of the harbor. We had biscuits and gravy and a strawberry waffle.

We came in right before closing and Beth- our server - was incredibly sweet to us. We ordered "local catch"fish and chips and it was delicious! The best cod I have ever had! Beth let us know that it will be $2 extra but it is nothing to complain about like some commentators did because Neah Bay is pretty far out from any big city. We liked the ambience and how peaceful it was. Highly recommend to support local business! read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw that this spot only got 3.5 stars on Yelp. We were actually looking for a different restaurant but it appeared closed so came to Warmhouse as our backup option. I'm glad we ended up here! The food is really good. I ordered the Fisherman's Dip sandwich and my husband got the Halibut and Chips. The dip was so good, though a bit over salted (could've been the au jus that was too salty). Besides that, the sandwich was delicious - lots of meat, onions cooked perfectly, and the bread was soft. My husband's halibut was fried to perfection- crispy on the outside and perfect texture on the inside. The fries were done well too with a touch of seasoning. The views from inside and outside are beautiful, and the service was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and were well fueled for the Shi Shi beach hike. read more

We stopped coming back from the Cape Flattery Trail. Great seafood platter with cod, calamari, shrimp and clams with fries. Plenty to split 3 ways. I also ordered a cup of chowder, which I should have passed on...it was thick, lumpy and too heavy with flour....think it had been on the stove too long. Fantastic views of bald eagles - adult and juvenile - fishing in the marina. The picture window showcased the eagles flying and jousting in midair for each other's fish! Although it's been a while since I stopped in here, friends and I did so on a cold, rainy day a couple years back. Best fish and chips I've had in my life (and they are THE thing I get when I'm stopping in after hikes, etc., on the road) and my friends agreed. The fish is what made it so fantastic - not sure if it was just super fresh off the boat or whatever, but I intend to return next time I am in Neah Bay. Mediocre food, really bad service. Waitress only had four tables yet could not bring us our silverware or salad plates. Fish and chips we're alright. "Open faced sandwiches" are actually just pieces of meat on bread with gravy, so not at all as advertised. One minute after bringing the food she dropped off our check. Didn't ask us how the food was, didn't ask if we needed anything, or of we wanted dessert. Nothing. TV was super loud and I had to get up to go turn it down. Won't be going back.
