He does exactly what he says & when he says so. If he can save you money & not waste a trip out he'll tell you. My ice maker ceased working & I called Pete. He said its probably a frozen line. I can come out there & clear it but it'll cost you blah blah amount. Or if I were you, you can unplug the fridge for 24 hrs & take everything out & put it coolers. Plug it back in or use a hair dryer on low and that's free. But if that doesn't work I'll come right over. I took the free option of course & he was right! I just recently had my oven go on the fritz. He came over within 20 mins of me calling. Was in & out in a flash. He first suggested that the turbocharger was causing the noise, but this is a car without a turbo. Then he said it was definitely an engine problem, and later added that it was a gasket in the exhaust system. The person who works on exhaust systems says he does not repair the exhaust gasket that he damaged. I spent money on things that were not the most important and that he thought should be done, and still nothing has actually been fixed. I do not recommend.
