Starting from the delivery of my 2024 Ram Crewcab Laramie 5.7 this dealership has fumbled the ball again and again. This Truck was delivered hanging off the back of the car carrier with something hanging and flailing off the top of the tailgate. Whatever this object was, was damaging the upper right tailgate and the the upper right quarter panel. Someone tried to hide this by using touch up paint and failed miserably, the truck was sent to their bodyshop to be repaired and it was and they got paint overspray on the bed stake plastics. The truck was ordered with a hitch reciver and hitch to tow a 19' boat which i was suppose to pick up in the Outer Banks of The Carolinas, and the dealership was aware of this seeing that I explained this to the dealer before hand.( The Truck was delivered with no hitch), looked like they may have pulled it off for another vehicle. After finally recieving the truck back, the next day, in the morning I heard the Engine making a loud ticking sound (like a valve tick at start up cold, back to the dealer she went. They returned her and said it was normal, I disagreed. After some research I found that there is a class action Rico lawsuit against the Brand for this exact problem, loud ticking because the lifters or the Rockers in the valve train system have oil starvation and whipe out the timing cam over a period of time. Dealer says not to idle the truck too long as a precaution. (REALLY!) It was also explained to the service advisor that the truck wasn't steering correctly, as if the front tires were plowing causing the tires to prematurely wear out at 15,000 miles. But again the dealer found nothing wrong, but now the tires are worn almost bald on the outersides of the front tires, lets see what explanation they have for this. Along with the above mentioned problems there is still others like the Heated mirror on the driver's side dosent work properly, most of the time or not at all, and to add the driver's side windows is struggling to close. Much slower than the passenger side.I As of today I dropped off the truck to them again to try to resolve these issues, plus the recalls, only to wake up to a truck that wouldn't start, 10 volts showing on the gauge cold, starts after a jump but if you turn it off it won't start back up. To boot i was promised that there would always be loner trucks if I needed, seeing that without my truck i cannot provide or take care of my families needs. Mind you that I also leased another vehicle, 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L which also has a hand full of re calls just like my 24 Ram 1500 Laramie. She's next ! Wish me luck ! I have waited many months to write this review because I wanted to give them a chance to make good however I should have known better. After purchasing a used jeep wrangler we have had to put thousands of dollars to make the vehicle safe. The sales person was nice the management and service department are sub par. We have had to replace tires, brakes and a radiator that was clearly non functional. The service department was rude, the management said they would follow up on the complaints and never did. I'd like to start by saying that up until today, I have NEVER given poor reviews. This experience was/is beyond frustrating to the point that I find it necessary for others to be aware of this problem. When I brought my Jeep in for repairs in January, MAYDA URENA was amazing at communicating with me and the technician. She is the only part of my experience that deserves praise. She was quick to reply and knowledgable. My Jeep needed several repairs. One of which was that my airbag sensor continuously goes off. It was found to be an electrical issue tied to a recall. My vehicle was in for a few days and Mayda mentioned the possibility of a loaner car. I ended up getting my Jeep back in enough time that it was not needed. There seems to be a disconnect between each member of the team... [Communication Problem #1] One MONTH after receiving my Jeep back, I received multiple calls regarding a loaner car (finally?) available for me with no understanding that it was way past the point of being needed. I was given attitude by the woman regarding my delay in response. [Communication Problem #2] For a recall on my vehicle (which would repair the airbag sensor issue), a part needed to be ordered back in January. I finally received a call from Nicolette in March telling me the part was in. I called back only to get a computer system, which successfully scheduled an appointment for me. I brought my Jeep in the night before my appointment. I then received a call from Nicolette the morning of my appointment trying to schedule an appointment for me. When I told her an appointment was made and my vehicle was already there she seemed confused and claimed that perhaps more parts had just come in... [Communication Problem #3] That afternoon I received a call and text that my Jeep was ready to pick up. Before I even checked out multiple employees behind the desk were asking me to complete a survey about how the experience was... prior to me even seeing my vehicle (this was very off putting). I checked out and drove home. Before even making it back to my house the airbag sensor went off. *THE REASON MY JEEP WAS BEING REPAIRED!* To this day my vehicle still has the original problem of the airbag sensor going off. [Communication Problem #4] I am most frustrated with the fact that I have received feedback requests via email and text DAILY and when I reply with my feedback and displeasure regarding the service there is absolutely no follow up. I had my 2024 wagoneer s for 3 1/2 weeks and all the issues started....service electrical vehicle system, service airbag system, battery regeneration levels unavailable, service electronic stability control and last but not least, vehicle speed may be limited. It was at the dealer for 5 weeks. I was told originally for the vehicle speed may be limited it needed a hood latch and the other issues were software updates. Okay fine. Waited 2 1/2 weeks and called the dealer and was told it would be done that week. Nope. Another 2 weeks goes by and now I'm told it needs a long range module. That was the beginning of last week. Now this past Friday I'm told it's having a front hub disconnect fault coming up. Car only has 803 miles.....currently doing a lemon, my second one with Chrysler in less than a year. Jeep refuses to make my payments so now I'm paying for a car the dealers had longer then I have! My advisor Joe called me and said now there's a check engine light on but Chryslers aware of the issue and there's no fix to come and pick it up. I called Jeep customer service who I have a case with and was told it's illegal for them to say there's no fix, Chryslers aware and get it. Jeep customer service sucks. The dealer sucks. I'm beyond done with Chrysler. I will NEVER EVER get another one! Never had an issue with them until my last 2. Scott forenza is down right awful!!!! I asked them what can I do since I don't feel safe driving the vehicle they said bring it right back to the dealer and get a loaner that they can NOT deny me a loaner as I feel unsafe driving. Mind you this light came on 10 minutes after me getting back the vehicle. Well according to this ass scott, it's safe to drive and just deal with it. Even after saying I had the recorded call from Chrysler nope he told me to deal with it and he's like I told you the car would have issues. Useless, rude, disrespectful and disgusting! I purchased a used 2020 Durango RT with my daughter and have had nothing but horrible experiences with them. They have dropped the ball every time since the sale. Spare key we were promised never handled for over 4 mos. They promised to replace the 4 tires and it took 4 mos. to get them. When they finally were replaced the directional type tires were mounted backwards on the drivers side. I had to have a tire dealer who knows what they are doing fix that screw up by dismounting remounting and rebalancing them. Now the transmission is slipping and they say that they will not have a loaner car available until NOVEMBER !! How is that possible? So initially Chris was looking into a dealer buy back , putting me in another car, a loaner car and getting my car to him to fix. Chris has changed his tune over and over and has been a horror show to get back in touch with. Chris also only seemed concerned when i speak to him on the negative reviews online he was getting. I later saw the truck I bought on the Empire website as in transit. Justin got back to me quickly with the full info and a fair price. Easiest new car purchase I ever made. Sean in finance was equally helpful. I've seen all kinds at dealerships and Justin is at the top of the list (Sean too). They're both honest, professional gentlemen. Worst Dealership I've ever visited. I call them first time and they said vehicle is available. after reaching their I was told they sold it. Then couple of days later they said car is available. Before going their second time I called them confirmed if the car is available and they said yes. On my second visit, I was able to check the car and do a test drive. Like most dealerships, these folks are very attentive when it comes to selling to you. But keep in mind that a dealership is only as good as their service dept. This is because you will EVENTUALLY have to bring it in for service sooner or later. Dealing with their service dept is so difficult. My vehicle has an oil consumption issue, checked the oil level and it was dry with check engine light on. I was concerned about the engine so I added 2 quarts and the check engine light turned right off, but now the service dept is telling me it was filled to the top!? This is impossible, the vehicle takes 5 quarts and I only added 2 quarts, so they must have added the rest. Getting KAT on the phone is unnecessarily difficult. It's so frustrating getting KAT on the phone. You can try for hours and talk to other people and still not get her. But unfortunately she's the only person that can help, and you can't get automatic updates because they only update you when you call them. I Should have purchased my car elsewhere. Dont bother going to this dealership. I dont know what happened but their service dept is horrendous. Over the years I've leased 3 vehicles and bought 2 used vehicles from atlantic dealerships and have always had a good experience. I dropped my truck off for an oil change on 6/6 for a 6/7 appt using the night drop. I never received a call that the truck was done which is rare. 9 out of 10 times they call before any work is performed. I called later in the day to see if it was ready and they said it was. I went to the dealership with my 6 yr old to pick up the vehicle. Once i paid, there was nobody at valet and i had to wait. Finally someone came and after looking for a while they said that they couldnt find my truck. Eventually they said it must be in the overflow lot. So, i was driven to the other lot by valet with my son. Obviously the dealership didnt have a booster seat and I didnt bring one because i didnt think id have to go 5 min away to get my truck. Also, the valet said that driving customers to the overflow lot is common practice. I dont like the idea of someone driving around town in my 6.4L ram burning unnecessary gas then having to hitch a ride to go get it. We got to a unpaved dusty parking lot There were only a few vehicles there but they felt the need to park my ram in the back of the lot in a row of bushes. I attached a picture that shows my truck literally backed into bushes. At this point, i had a dusty scratched truck and terrible experience in every aspect. I went back to the dealership to voice my complaint about the whole experience. The general manager agreed with me and said the service manager would call me the next day. The call never happened and still waiting since 6/7. I posted a similar review on the dealers website a few days later but they immediately removed the bad review. PLACE...Specifically the service dept. We bought my wife's Jeep from Port Jeff but we live in Islip. We realized Empire Jeep is 4 minutes away so we decided to give them a shot for this round of service. I announced to Joe that this was our first time there and we were looking for a new place to service the truck. Thinking this would be an opportunity for him to welcome us and offer incentives to encourage us to keep coming back. That was not the case. We needed an oil change and a state inspection, that's all. About 3 hours after we dropped the truck off Joe calls and says that the truck needs brakes bad. He claimed they use a green, yellow, red system and these were red so they were in need of pads and possibly rotors as well. The truck just rolled 45k miles. I asked about the possibility of it failing inspection due to the brakes being so bad ( which should have been the case) and Joe said it would still pass. I was curious, so I asked what the process would entail concerning fixing the brakes and how much it would cost. He said to cut the rotors and replace the pads it would be $500. I said that is insane, and then asked how much for just pads...$400. This guy was literally making these numbers up as he went along. He then said, we can't guarantee that the truck will work properly if you don't fix the brakes....I told him I'm willing to take that risk so Don't touch the brakes. Today, I took the truck to my local mechanic to get the brakes done.....He called me an hour later and said Your brakes are absolutely fine...the front is more than half life left and the rear looks new!!!!! I found a perfect used car for me here. We settled on a price we could both agree with. But then they added $175 without telling me which turned out to be the registration. Ok then not a big deal. Then when we did the financials for the loan. They showed me what the interest rate and monthly payments would be. I looked at the numbers and they didn't match up to the numbers on my auto loan calculator app. By Empire's paperwork I was going to pay $110 more a month than what my auto loan calculator was reading. I entered the loan amount, the interest rate, and the loan term. I asked the loan department about it. They added another $6,650 on top of the agreed upon price with out my knowledge. They said it was for the extended warranty. I told them I didn't ask for their warranty. Their loan officer told me I should get the warranty since the factory warranty would expire soon. That should be my decision not theirs. The dealership never told me about the warranty, what the warranty covered and what company would be used for the extended warranty before adding it into the sale. To me it looked like i was getting a warranty from a Chrysler dealership for a used vehicle from a different manufacturer. I ended up canceling the deal. It was very upsetting that they would try to add in $6650 to the purchase price without discussing it with me first. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Entered in Vin#. Was quoted a trade in price. Drove two hours to dealership. Spent 2 hours there. Brought the vehicle that I wanted to trade in. They then offered me 5 thousand dollars less the the quote given to me on their own website. When I asked why, they didn't know why their website gave the higher offer. They had no answers . Such a frustrating dealership that just wants to sell whatever cars they want, not what you want. Called on a Tuesday about a car that I was interested in to schedule an appointment for Friday. They then confirmed our 2pm appointment at 11am on Friday. I drive to the dealership that's 2 hours from my home in New Jersey only to be told after 45 minutes of dilly dallying at the dealership that the car is in the mechanic shop and not available. The sales rep asked me "what did you like about that car, I can find you something else." Like what? I came for a specific car, I scheduled this meeting 2 days ago, YOU confirmed it this morning at 11am and you knew I was coming from Jersey because I explicitly said it, and failed to mention the car was undergoing maintenance or repairs or whatever, waited until I drove all the way here to say the car was unavailable and try to sell me another car. Bizarre! The manager of the used sales Murphy seemed unphased, unapologetic, and basically said it wasnt his fault. So I don't know whose fault it is that I scheduled this appointment two days ago and everyone failed to mention the car was not ready to be seen/driven today. Apparently they have to test drive the car before it can be given to a customer so I don't know if they decided to test drive the car 5 minutes before our appointment or what but that was completely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. The car was a 2024 white grand Cherokee jeep 4xe with 300 miles. No idea why it couldn't pass a simple test drive even though there are no records of any issues on carfax. Before I start, it's important to note that this dealership is located on Long Island, NY and I live in Rhode Island. I found a Jeep Grand Cherokee on carfax.com that was below market value. I sent an email inquiry to see if the car was available two days before I planned to head down there, it was. I was in contact with a salesperson 15 minutes after the dealership closed the night before my appointment to see this car. I told him I was driving to the dealership from Rhode Island and I didn't want to make the trip unless that specific car was available. He assured me that it was and i told him I'm going to drive up there now, spend the night in a cheap hotel, and I'll see you at opening. I get there and he apologizes and proceeds to tells me the car was sold after hours. I wasted 2 days, money (gas hotel food etc), and about 9 hours in a car for nothing!! I wish the story ended there but after I get home (5 hours after I left the dealership with traffic), another salesperson sees my initial general inquiry email and calls to ask if I'm interested in coming to test drive the car that is CLEARLY not for sale. I decide to play along and say yes, if that specific car is there. She assures me it is!!! What scum bags!!! I then proceed to inform her that I was there that morning and it wasn't and that she was full of ****. She says "we have it listed as available" and hangs up. To entice customers to visit, they place ads of vehicles below market value that obviously don't exist or were sold already. This experience was such a joke!! I set up a service call for an engine light was told it needs a evap valve. They suggested to clean the fuel injectors and change antifreeze I declined to have that work done i just wanted the evap purge valve changed. They did it any way and i was told can't help u have to pay it they stole 400 dollars on work i didnt want also a month before i have it in for service to change trany fluid the web site has one price but when i picked up the car it was doubled Think twice about using this dealer for anything read more

This dealer has had my truck since the last weekend of December. It is now March 4,2021 ! They keep giving me the run around. The service manager said i should be thankful my bill is only $500. The part is under warranty !! They keep dodging my phone calls and can not give a ETA on getting my truck back. They keep saying they are having paper work issues ! I ordered a Gladiator to spec on June 14 of 21. Was told six to eight weeks. I tracked the build on a jeep forum site with Toledo Ohio. Once Empire got my "pre trade" and 2000 deposit.....they went ghost. I figured 8 weeks because of computer chips etc....iIts been 13 weeks now and I'm still without my Gladiator ....and I gave them my "pre trade" and substantial deposit, in good faith. Phone call after phone call, and emails....I'm told now I "may" get it sometime in October....The Gladiator has been built three weeks ago. They didn't call me for updates or anything.... If you want a Jeep....make sure you do your due diligence....poor poor poor poor. (At least keep me in the loop) The delay may not be their fault....but communication skills are way way below acceptable.... read more

I got a great price on my vehicle where I found it atleast 4k more expensive else where. Sales rep was great, friendly and explained the features in my vehicle very thoroughly. He also showed me their great service department and assured that any of my future repairs will be swift and easy. Management was also very kind and welcoming. I'll be referring friends and family, I've been at other dealerships and Empire Jeep really stood above the rest! read more

Remarkably terrible service department. I purchased my car from this dealer about 3 years ago. I recently dented my exhaust pipe, so I called Empire hoping this would be covered by my warranty. I left the car there overnight, and was not given a loaner car. The next day, they called back and told me my catalytic converter was destroyed, which was not covered by my warranty, and I was quoted $4,000 for its replacement. When I declined and told him I'll take it to an exhaust shop, Jim at services was very rude and told me any place that isn't this dealer will do a cheap/poor job and will void my warranty (you mean the warranty that this doesn't cover??) and the only way to get it properly fixed was to pay the $4K for this dealer to do it. I remained my answer, and told him I would be picking up the car that day. I showed up hours later and they could not find my car. They gave me the key and told me my car was in another lot in Bay Shore; 7 minutes away. I drove to that lot, and searched for my car-- it was not there. I returned to the dealer and asked them to re-search their lot, only to find out that the reason they couldn't find it was because they parked it in the back of the lot, blocking it in with other cars. So I was sent on a wild goose chase, because Jim failed to let anyone know that I'd be returning that day to pick the car up. I then took my car to a local exhaust shop, and they inspected the damage and told me my catalytic converter was perfectly fine, and only the exhaust pipe below it was damaged. It was fixed for $300, and my car runs good as new. Empire CDJR not only quoted me an insultingly high number for service, but they also completely misdiagnosed the issue. I'd give my car to a 13 year old with a screwdriver before calling these fools again. read more
