I took a chance on coming to this place again and it was delightful. My mom and I were pleasantly surprised by the service and it was really fast but great quality! My experience here was strange. My nails look good right? 3 stars for that. However, I don't believe this is a very knowledgeable staff. I asked for a dip mani and the tech gave me a combination dip and gel mani, meaning she used the dip powder for the color and gel for adhesive and top coat. I put my hands under the black light at the end, which isn't done for dip. I also heard her tell the person beside her that it was her first time doing dip. Multiple staff used a drill on my natural nail to buff off my prior dip polish, which I've never seen done. There was no hand lotion massage or actual cuticle trimming (not a manicure, although that's what I asked for). Dip color selection was very slim. Again, they look okay, so 3 stars. In addition, the salon had poor ventilation and smelled like acetone. The nail tables were also dusty and had old nail bits on them. There was no tub liner for the person getting a pedi while I was there. Overall this place had a dirty vibe. I saw no one cleaning while they did not have customers. That creeps me out and I probably won't be back here. read more

I've been going here for the last year and originally loved it. Recently however, (last 3 visits) have not been great. The nail tech has not been very friendly and seemed very rushed with work. My last visit, has convinced me to go elsewhere. I got a pedicure and the nail polish never set. Six hours after my morning appointment, I noticed the polish was "smushing" off. I touched the polish with my nail and immediately it started peeling. I've certainly had this issue when I paint my own nails bc my coats were way too thick to dry correctly. I have never had the issue at a professional salon. Thinking it wouldn't be a big deal, I came in the next day to get my nails fixed and the nail tech came off very annoyed and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. I get they are certainly a busy salon and people have off days but not acknowledging the mistake/correcting the problem without making the customer feel bad is rude and unprofessional. read more

I am very sorry to write this, and the woman did not mean to hurt me and comped the manicure, but this cannot be a licensed person. What a painful disaster, a day before traveling to a wedding. She clipped my nails very far down on the sides, to the quick, roughly filed them even further, clipped one cutical until it bled lightly and as I was asking her to stop and be more careful she then missed the cuticle entirely on my index finger literally cutting deeply into the tip of my finger near the nail! I screamed! It bled for 20 minutes until I finally had them put clear polish on it to stem it. I had to have her refile them all as they were (and still are) crooked and jagged. She banged my hand several times with the heat light. My whole left hand is now inflamed. If this was a child or an elderly person it would be very bad. Sorry, do not go here. read more

Three generations were going here on a regular basis. Regarding their punch card; Going in for a rebase and a pedicure was only one punch. My daughter would get a manicure and pedicure, one punch. Granddaughter, manicure and pedicure, one punch. Whatever ! ! Then one day, after many thousands of dollars spent at this business, I was informed, no more punches for the services my daughter and granddaughter received, because I paid for the SIX services with one credit card ! ! Great nail salon! I was in need of a manicure and my normal gal was booked for awhile. This is not far from home and they accept walk-ins so I gave it a try. It's a great place if you live nearby and are in need of a fairly quick mani/pedi and I think the prices are on-point. It's in a very unsuspecting part of Lakewood by the King Soopers on Quail. It kind of threw me off as I had no idea anything was even on this side of the very small strip-mall. Honestly I really liked this nail salon but recently my nails were horrible and they aren't even 3 days old. As you can see in the pictures I posted, my nails "looked" fine but day 3 and they are peeling up from the cuticle. They also look like I've had them for more than a week. I wouldn't have broke off the bottom part but it was catching my hair and snagging my clothes. I would just make sure you research nail salons and question if you should waste money here. Also to make them less worthy of a 1 star rating, a nail tech told me it was my fault my nails looked the way they do. Ha! read more

Most of the workers here are actually pretty good. They pay pretty close attention to what they are doing, but the manager, Kevin, isn't the best. I understand trying to get as much business as possible, but if you are slammed then you should give people an estimated waiting time. I saw him tell 4 people "just a little wait". What exactly does just a little mean? On top of that he was working on my mom and kept getting up to help new people, answering the phone, getting things for his other employees etc. If you are going to charge someone a standard rate, then they should receive standard service. It shouldn't be a sloppy job on one person just because you're the manager and you have other responsibilities. In that case, don't take someone if you don't have time. My mom said something and he did respond politely that he was the manager. I feel like if you are the manager, then you should do the best job and represent what your employees should be doing. Additionally, we saw them using old nail files and buffers instead of new clean ones. This made me question their level of hygiene. I feel like they cut corners to make money. For the most part this place is ok, but the business tactics aren't great. Make sure you don't get Kevin. Kim was pretty good, although my feet still aren't that smooth. I probably won't come here again, which is unfortunate because I work so close. Bad business tactics make you lose business. read more
