My vehicle is old has some complicated issues. I'm none about Poco since they've been open but I just never had use them several months ago I used them they did excellent work. They have been more than fair with me and went out of their way to keep me going. Cannot say enough nice things about these folks. Our "check engine" light came on after leaving Waco. Car wouldn't go over 24 mph. Limped into Poco. They checked it out and determined it was an issue that was covered by our warranty, so they advised us to get it to a Hyundai dealership where it could be fixed for free. Didn't charge us a penny for this diagnosis. Then they let us wait in their office area as we waited on a tow truck. We were there for FIVE HOURS and they never griped at us. Even asked us if we needed something to eat. I'm a fan. These are awesome folks and I recommend them highly. read more

The worst expierence at an auto repair shop ever. Let me tell you how my expierence went: Me: hello, I have an oil leak in the back passenger side of my truck. I think there is a bad seal and the oil is leaking. Poco: okay, we charge $85 diagnostic fee. Me: okay, no problem, I really need this fixed. ... 24 hrs later Poco: yes, you do have an oil leak exactly where you said. It's you break vacuum pump. Sorry, we do not fix that... That will be $85. Thank you. Me: thinking in my head... you just charged me $85 to confirm what I just told you the issue was?!?!? I do not recommend nor will I ever go back. read more

Not everyday you run into honest people, I did. I have a family heirloom Land Cruiser that would turn over out of no where, I got the battery checked, nothing wrong there, so I thought maybe it was the starter, and had it towed to Poco. They seemed super nice and understanding about everything, I did need to pay a $100 diagnostic, but no one works for free right? So next business day I call and ask for the status and they were about to start looking at it, and would call me back when they had an answer for me. Turn out it was nothing, they cleaned and re connected the battery terminals and it started right up like nothing happened. I feel about dumb about it, as I had already assumed the worst came to the conclusion that I was going to get a huge bill. Nope, they didn't charge me, the diagnostic was fee was all and said I could probably use an oil change so I had them do that as well. 10/10 I would go back again, this level of integrity deserves to be rewarded with repeat business which I will happily do in the future. read more

I base my review on a couple of important items. 1. Was the work done correctly? 2. Was the cost competitive? 3. Was the job done on time? 4. Did the staff treat me well? POCO excelled on all counts. I called for an appointment, which they provided. When I showed up they took my vehicle on time and gave me an answer in 20 minutes. The repair was scheduled and parts ordered. When I called for an update they gave me an updated time for the repair. The vehicle was finished at the time that they said. The cost was what they estimated, which I had agreed to. I'm satisfied that the repair is exactly what it needed to be. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Most importantly, I would go here again for my repair and I will recommend POCO to my friends and family. read more

My wife and I are both active duty Army, currently she is deployed making me the single dad with six children at home ranging from 17 months to 16 years. With this said Im the only licensed driver currently. I took my Expedition to Poco to have my AC repaired knowing that it would not be fixed that day and all though I suffer from sciatica and recently strained my MCL I still intended to walk home the approximated 4 miles from Poco. The owner would not allow it and arranged for one of their employees to drive me home. Early the next day the owner called me and informed me that the issues with my AC had been pin pointed and gave me the estimate for the repair and recharge. About one hour later Poco called me to inform me my Expedition was ready and that it had taken over two more pounds of freon to charge the AC than expected however because I was already given the estimate they would not charge me extra for the 2 +lbs of freon....the price for the repairs was well below what I expected to begin with, but then to provide me a ride home and not charge me for the extra freon I am not only greatful I am overwhelmed with the professionalism and dedication to service of the customer...I will recommend Poco to everyone. One icy January morning, 2006, I slid into a curb in my Jetta TDI on my way to work, and the car hasn't driven straight since, and has made a lot of rattling sounds that seem to come from just about every bolt in the car. I took it to several dealers, tire and alignment shops, and an expensive European car shop, all of which charged me for an alignment and when I got it back, still not driving straight, they blamed it on everything from tires, bent frame, bad bearings, shocks... I even had one place tell me after they aligned it, "Oh, it's supposed pull to the right because that's what we call 'right hand lane alignment', mandated by the state"... clearly hogwash! Anyway it still pulled to the right and wore out a set of tires about every 10k miles and I was not happy. I was ready to sell the car at a loss just to be done with it, well overdue now with over 100k miles of frustration went into that car while I had this issue. As a last ditch effort to fix the car just good enough to sell it, I took it to Poco and explained to Kyle and Jack my frustrating situation and asked them if they could help me. Kyle said he could fix it and at least make it 99% better, if not perfect again. Since a free estimate costs me nothing, I smiled and kept my expectations low, and let him take a look at it. The next afternoon, I dropped by to see how the progress was coming along. Kyle and I had a good conversation where he showed me exactly what was going on with it and what it would take to get me happy with it. I thought there would be one or more bent parts just on the side that got hit, but actually both sides were busted. There were some other safety worries from things I wasn't aware of that he showed me as well. I thought "uh oh... I can only imagine how much this is going to cost..." I mentally took a deep sigh and waited for a price that would blow my hair back... it was actually about 1/3 of what I would expect to pay at a dealer! They STILL managed to come in cheaper than that at the end when it was all said and done because they ended up being able to find parts cheaper than expected. I was VERY pleased to hear this. There were a couple of other minor tweaks that needed to be done as well, which were provided at no charge. :-) I'm driving around now, happy as can be. Needless to say, I've decided to keep it a while longer. Thanks Poco Auto! You made me love my little car again! read more
