A fun little spot in Hampton, designed beautifully inside. Friendly service, they were out of 2 of the things I was going to order on the menu but the server didn't know why. My husband got the bacon bleu burger and I got fish&chips. I regret not getting a burger because the little bite I tried from my husband's was phenomenal. Dare I say the best burger I've had. We were pleasantly surprised with Point Break on a recent visit with friends. When I think dining on Hampton Beach, my mind turns to pizza and fried dough. This was a nice changeup with casual comfort food. Think pizza, burgers and the like. The dining room is nice, open air out front with outside tables, a big bar and a fun surfer/beach theme. The hostess first tried to bring us to the far back corner of the restaurant and I knew we would not like feeling so isolated from the rest of the diners, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere, and she was quite agreeable. I had my eye on their Mai Tai with a honey foam top, which brought me right back to Hawaii where MonkeyPod restaurant does a similar rendition with a lilikoi foam topping. Point Break served a tasty and potent version. We didn't order apps, but my Mac & Cheese was very good. Seemed that everybody was very happy with their food as well. Fried haddock, pulled pork and a nice salad. Our server was great, and quickly handled one mistake (a full dinner was served instead of a sandwich, and so he brought out the fries which came with the sandwich). Perhaps the only real negative is parking, which is tricky at the south end of Hampton Beach. There is plenty of resident parking nearby, but otherwise you might have to walk a bit to get to a paid parking spot or lot. Give them a try! We don't visit this part of the beach often and rarely for dinner, but we might make an exception to try this spot again. read more

Checked out Point Break on a Monday night. The bartender was the owner and she was AWESOME, and hustling to get things done. Super friendly. Drinks were top notch. Food took a little longer than expected, but it was clear they were busy and every worker in there, including the owner, never stopped moving. Loved the drinks, atmosphere, awesome staff. Menu is diverse and nothing like anything else you will see on Hampton strip. Actual like good food not just fried sea food and chicken tenders (they do have that also but there is more than that here) food was quick to come to me and delicious. The joint is also just a nice looking place and the people there are quick with the service and super accommodating and affordable. read more

It was very busy for the opening night (apparently there was a line outside at opening time and it stayed that busy!) but service was still friendly and efficient. The ambiance is clean, spacious and beautiful. The food-- I can't say enough! The burrata is delicious, tomato mix especially, and the shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had, hands down!!! The crowning achievement was the peaches and cream dessert, which again, was next level. Incredible little gem on Hampton beach, I'm sure to be back again and again! read more

The food was very average, nothing terrible for sure, Menu is limited and is redundant with certain products. Service was, well, terrible. Very charming young lady that had no idea how dinner service works. Clearly untrained and raw. The other runners, greeters, etc, were basically nonchalant and unfriendly. visited over Memorial Day weekend and we loved it! Went with a larger group that included children and were seated promptly. Our group shared 3 different types of pizzas and the brussell sprout appetize....all were very delicious. My son ordered the honey glazed fried chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best he's ever had (I stole a bite and agree with him). We also enjoyed some of the cocktails and they were delicious. The staff was top notch and attentive even with it being a busy holiday weekend. We were all very impressed and plan on returning several times this summer! read more
