Everything was wonderful at Sofia's! We had a great waitress! The wine and the food were incredible. The salad was the freshest I had ever tasted with a delicious house dressing. The house bread was soft, fresh and oh so wonderful dipped in olive oil and Romano cheese and red pepper flakes! I was blown away by how delicious my sandwich and homemade fries were. Good experience for a first time visiting this restaurant, food was great as everyone said it was gonna be, but waited 45 min to be seated due to busy night and understaffed wait staff. We ordered eggplant parm extra cheese and extra sauce and with linguine and a salad "came with it" we spent $29.00. Im not going to lie, I have no problem shelling out money for good food. Thank you for my dinner for three days! I bought the lasagna and chicken Parmesan with pasta,and of course I had to get the small meatball which includes two; and they aren't small ! The sauce is delicious the meatballs are delicious the lasagna with meat sauce was delicious, and to be honest I didn't even get to the chicken parmigiana yet. The good reviews are from those who haven't experience good cuisine. I was very disappointed with my meal tonight as well as my friend. Baked haddock was extremely dry. Salad was delicious very fresh vegetables good salad dressing. I have the chicken cacciatore and the chicken just did not taste good very tough they even put dark meat in the chicken cacciatore. Almost tasted like old chicken. The lemon raspberry cake was just very disappointing. A tiramisu it's okay but it's disappointing that they drizzled Hershey's chocolate syrup over it. We were staying a night in a hotel in the area and found this cozy restaurant by chance. We ordered the chicken piccata and the triple threat chicken parmigiana and both dishes were plentiful and good. Our server Ellie was very nice and attentive and tired her best to take care of all her tables on a busy Friday night. Next time we travel through this area, we will definitely stop by here for a nice comforting Italian meal. read more

4 of us went last night, our first time there. We sat in the bar, which was pleasantly decorated. Our server was attentive and nice. Did not realize they only sell wine and beer, had to switch my cocktail choice. Ordered the mussels for an ap, delish. We split the Mediterranean salad, which was good. We ordered the chicken Marsala and chicken piccata - the chicken in both dishes tasted like it had been frozen, microwaved and thrown on the dish - the marsala sauce was indescribable. Not even sure what it was, it definitely was not Marsala. We did not eat our meal. Our server asked if she could get us something else, but by this point, we were done. Nothing was comp'd on our check. Very disappointing. read more
