There were a few bumps in the road with some of the items, but Brett worked with us throughout the process and was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. Matt, the tech, along with his assistant, Hailey, did an amazing job with everything and walked us through every concern we had. Some of the repair work that needed to be done was extensive and difficult, but they handled everything in a thorough and professional manner. I cannot say enough about the service we received through the whole 6 month process. The countless phone calls, emails and all communications were punctual, helpful and professional. We bought our previous travel trailer (Puma) there prior to purchasing our extended stay coach and received the same great service years back. I recommend you purchase your next, or first camper from Kunes, you will not be disappointed. On 31Dec2025 I visited Kunes Sheboygan North to find about the "RV Life". The salesman (Austin)…read moreled me outside to view some available units. While stepping between units , there was a big patch of ice covered with snow, and I fell HARD on my left side, bruising my left leg from waist to knee, and jamming my left shoulder trying to break the fall. Austin attempted to help me up using one hand, was unsuccessful and I fell again. I think that there should have been ice melt or sand on the patch of ice. An accident report was requested, and as of today 04Jan2026 I have not received a copy of the report, however I did receive an email from Austin wanting to show me more available units. No "sorry about the fall" just sales talk.. It concerns me that such a heartless communication would foster me wanting to utilize Kunes for a purchase. I am disturbed that they contacted myself about sales, yet never mentioned my injuries I'm still waiting for a copy of my accident report. It would be my recommendation that if a person is looking for an RV, to avoid at all cost Kunes RV Sheboygan North1`

I rented a Mercedes class c from Friday to Monday. What a great a vehicle and amazing service…read more Cara gave me very detailed review on how everything worked, use the stove, the shower, where the bedding was kept even a first aid kit and cleaning supplies. All I brought was my food. We drove around so that I could get familiar with the dashboard, how to turn corners and watch out for trees. I found the vehicle easy to drive and the the ride was great! I camped with my family, who came in their camper, at Kohler Andre state park mid May. That was the weekend we had rain and thunderstorms but I was safe and warm inside the camper and even used the a/c when it got to hot for me. The location is easy to find and my deposit was returned in a timely manor. Thanks again for a great weekend with my family.

A lot of companies would have just pocketed that money. The delivery was on time and accommodated a last minute site change (a different site within the campground). The camper was clean and well equipped, and we were given a friendly tour which was helpful because we have zero RV experience. I would use them again.

Rained hard another night again our bedding got wet. Campers are not well taken care of and old. Potable water tank didn't hold water! I told owner all I got was an apology. Well as most of you know my family and I took a trip around WI this past week and had a wonderful…read moretime. Sad to say that the RV rental place is/was horrible to work with so all of you out there stay away from Happy Trails RV in Neenah. Here is a taste of some of the things that happened. First of all we found someone elses shirts in the RV the kid that we mentioned it to when we got back said sorry I missed that and then another girl/supposed manager said you forgot to pick them when you were done cleaning to the kid that was checking us in....um lady do you think that we are stupid they were two button down shirts who wears two button down shirts. Then I inspected the bed to make sure there were not bugs or anything like that low and behold what did I find HAIR ugh GROSS (most of you know my phobia with hair) Not that I wasnt going to wash the sheets before we left but still! Next we went to fill up the water in the rv and we were wondering why the water wasnt filling up now mind you this was 10/11 at night....well they never closed the valve for the water tank. Luckily my husband is smart and knows what to look for (I wouldent have known what to do/look for). The next thing that happened was I was in the middle of a shower and the water stopped! Low and behold the water pump for the toilets and shower took a dump (the whole reason why we got the thing in the first place). So we had to pack everything up we were planning on staying at the park that we were at for another day. Drove to Superior to get cell service to let them know what happened and started our search for someone to fix the pump. We were told the only people that do that in the area would be going to MN the opposite way that we were going...more mileage. Ed found a dealer that had the pump and he fixed it himself. So we contacted Happy Trail RV back asking for the day to be refunded the said prob not the whole day maybe half. Well we get back to drop off the RV on the last day and we were told no you will only get reimbursed for the part and $10.00.....ummmm WHAT we wasted a whole day trying to find out what to do not only that but mileage driving around town. We asked for a Sup/manager and after a bit of no one listening to us the girl finally said well we will do $40.00....still not even close to what we were paying for the RV for a day. Ok well we knew that we would not win with the people that we were talking to so we went home to write a letter. They were not seeing the whole picture that we saved them money by fixing the pump ourselves. So not only were we paying them for the day of rental but we paid them to fix their camper. So I got home today and my husband said well the gave $40.00 more for his time putting into fixing the camper and then he said they charged us $1900 plus for the camper for the week and I thought about it and that was not right....surprise surprise they were trying to charge is for 2029 plus miles when we only put on 1029. All that I can say if any of you were looking to do something like this STAY AWAY from Happy Trails RV in Neenah. Pay the extra per day and go to Appleton RV or Van Boxtel RV and I am sure that you will get WAY better service than we did with Happy Trails

Wow! This place rocked! Attended the big Air Venture show in July with my son. He is a pilot (as…read moream I) and really wanted to go. Since I live in California and he lives in North Carolina, this was quite a feat to plan. Happy Trails saved us a ton of work. They set us up to deliver our Tent Trailer on Saturday as I was scheduled to fly in that morning. Well, things went badly with weather and my connecting flight that was supposed to leave Detroit at 8:30 a.m. didn't leave until 3 pm. What an air traffic mess. I was going to miss my appointment to get the trailer and they saved the day! They said if we didn't care where our campsite was, they would just pick one for us and deliver the trailer and we didn't have to be there. So we arrived early evening and happened to both be on the same plane from Detroit. Honestly, the campsite is the one we would have wanted! Close to the store, bathrooms and WiFi. The trailer was perfect for us. We had great weather all week so we didn't have to deal with the inconvenience of not having air conditioning. We had an awning and we had shipped folding chairs. Everything was perfect, especially with the campsite Happy Trails got for us. Thank you to them and we WILL return and rent again!

Camp has a rich history of scouting. It is non-profit, non-sectarian and state licensed. The facilities we offer include a large dining hall with a fully stocked kitchen, shower house, dormitory and cabins for rent year round for your large group or your individual family. Much of the property is managed forest consisting of mixed deciduous forest at the northern edge of the kettle morraine. Activities include swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, sledding, and indoor and outdoor games". I have fond memories of this place. In 1961 I was the nature counselor for the Boy Scout Camp that was flourishing at the time. That same summer I was tapped for the Order of the Arrow; and spent the night in the dark woods alone as part of the initiation. This is a place for the entire family. The cabins are for anywhere from two people to a large indoor facility that will fit a dozen or more. Eiric and Sara Nelson are your hosts. They have a nice family with them there, including their dog, Tuck. The west side is mostly woods with trails. Pigeon Lake is one of the nicer lakes in Manitowoc County. I have fond memories of the island in the lake. If you spend time here you can use canoes and kayaks as part of your rental. Also from their website "Our main lodge is a wonderful space to host a large family gathering or a small wedding. It is approximately 3,000 square feet and can accommodate about 100 people comfortably. It boasts an incredible commercial kitchen, a game area, a cozy fireplace and a large area for tables and chairs. We treat this building as community space for our campers so rental availability is limited. Camp Sinawa is an amazing venue for a wedding. Whether you have your ceremony indoor or outside, the lodge is a perfect reception hall. If you'd like to get married here, we require that you rent the whole camp for the whole weekend. That way you can set up Friday, get married Saturday and clean up Sunday. Your guests would have the option of spending the night that way as well." There are multiple cabins that suit any size group from 2 to 12 people and a dorm with 24 sleeping spots arranged in 6 clusters of 4 bunks. The buildings have always been clean, and the on-site owners are a delight -friendly and welcoming and just genuinely kind people. I've been to Sinawa multiple times over the past couple of years, and Sara and the team have clearly put work into improving the camp. (I especially love the new, quieter heaters in the cabins.) There are also a couple of outdoor-only cats who roam around and are very affectionate.
