I had a leak in 1 of my tires went to the closest tire shop near me the famous one they said I had I piece of metal in tire they over bored my tire and left the metal in my tire it was leaking air. 10 years ago I purchased a set of tires here. I don't drive my truck much so my tires had only 20k miles on them and a lot of tread left that we're showing age. I researched different brands from various tire shops and decided to stop at Point S. to see what they had to offer. After talking with the guys, they really listened to my needs. Bad first customer service experience. The man was rude to my partner over the phone by having an attitude and gave passive aggressive comments. We were looking to get her car's brake fluid replaced and we were recommended this place for the first time. Unfortunately the dude seemed to be having a bad day and was disrespectful and seemed to be impatient when my partner asked questions. He expected her to know what time the store opens and when she should come in. Stated "well we open at 8 so..." and??? We were not given a quote, but we would've followed through with the appointment if they were nice and wanting to listen to us just over the phone. read more

I don't live in Washington and needed help to order durable vehicle floor mats for our daughter's birthday. Via the weather tech website, I found the phone number for a dealer in Everett. I called the number and Phil answered. I explained what I was looking for, he did research, called me the next day to let me know he found the mats (gave me good recommendations and at a fair price) then said they would be ready for pick-up the next day. He called my daughter to let her know her mats were ready for pick-up. She said he was very nice and she loves the mats. I was renting a car through a major popular business due to an accident that totaled my car. After having it for 5 days, it had a very low tire, which I filled up to get home from work. The next morning it was almost flat again, so I filled it again, to get to work. I called the rental company to report it and they told me to get it to Point S Tire in Everett, WA to have it looked at. I got there right at closing time. The service advisor (Phil Peterson) did the work himself, while I talked to another manager (Mark). They ended up having to put a new tire on the car and got me on my way. Anyway, moved to Eastern Washington a number of years ago and they're still my "go to" for auto service and tires. Just spent 4-5 months and too much money taking my truck to a couple of shops where I now live to get a problem resolved with no luck. I recently had a steering rack replaced and needed an alignment. So, I decided to give the Everett Tire Factory a go; just because they were close. I had to wait forever just to get service; not because they were busy or ect. but because the counter guy kept chatting. Luckily, I was patient. So, when I finally got to the counter, I told them I needed an alignment, gave them my keys, then got to sit and wait for my car. After some time, the counter guy came over to explain the situation; then, tried selling me these $75 bolts because they "cannot align my car" without them. Up to this point, I had been in the shop for over two hours and was running out of patience, I said no and they gave my car back.. I felt like they did not respect or give me the attention I deserved as a customer, esspecially my time; since, I had to stand there and watch the guy talk for most of the time I was there. These guys charge the hell out of you. Hankook Tire in Lynnwood charges less than half for the same alignment. My car is lowered, so there is no way to get the alignment 100% but the crew at Hankook did the job. I still get texts from these guys to come in for alignments and ect. Yeah you can align your own cars because I won't ever set foot here again. read more

I would not recommend this shop. I used to be an auto mechanic by trade and now an aircraft technician. I don't normally have others work on my vehicles and this is the exact reason why.... Stopped by and they sold me used lug nuts for $105, they where the only ones that had them and half price from new so I paid it. Made small talk with the guy and he was nice enough and talked good sales pitch so decided to save myself some time and give them a shot.( these lugs nuts where used off vehicles they worked on) Dropped my vehicle off for an alignment after Phil behind the counter told me how good their shop is compared to others. Asked for an alignment and if it needed any steering components it had new parts on the front seat (parts purchased Years prior) . He said he would give me a call. Get an call and hour or 2 later telling me that I needed an inner and out tie rod end. And that he won't install customers parts. Asked him why he didn't tell me that when I talked to him face to face and the best reason he came up with is it is policy. I picked up the vehicle and he charged me a $43 dollar Diagnostic fee even they hadn't done any work and he has already charged me $105 dollars for USED LUG NUTS. Kept apologizing to me and asked me not to hate him...... Phil knowingly wasted my time and tried to nickel and dime me and force me into using his parts that are marked up even though he made no mention of this as I looked him in the eye. This is the practice of a bad auto repair shop. Brought my vehicle to Firestone down the road they did my alignment while I waited and even installed my new parts for free ( even though they were NOT asked to do so) and gave me a life time alignment for free ( also without asking) DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME GO SOMEWHERE ELSE read more

While I was waiting I was talking with Phil about a tires that have a decent tread life since I pull a trailer almost on a daily basis. I called yesterday morning about getting a new tire since a nail had popped mine. Spoke to Mark on the phone who was extremely nice and informed me that I could possibly have my tire repaired instead of buying a new one, which is cheaper. My husband took the van to Point S for me and shortly after he got there I needed him to come home, there was an emergency. Point S had him out and back home within 20 minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone. I can't stress enough how nice they are, they're fast, and they're affordable. $18.50 plus tax to fix a tire. You want honest service and great attention to detail then take your vehicles here. These guys have been doing this for over 35 years. From tires and wheels to tune ups and oil changes. They do it all. It's the kind of place that reminds me of the local repair shop from when I was a kid not these huge conglomerates we have today. They even have a waiting area with coffee and tv. Or if it's going to be a few hours they will drop you off someplace close and pick you up when your vehicle is ready. Customer service is their priority. Oh and the prices are reasonable too. After my horrendous experience at the Walmart on Evergreen Way and 112th St., I took my car over to Point S for new tires. They had them installed in just over an hour and did a full inspection of the break system and suspension for half of what the other guys were charging for two tires. I was the last guy in there before close and they were still cordial and willing to chat while I waited. I'll be using their services again. read more

Took in our Sprinter Van Motor-home for a $150 alignment to correct strange tire wear on our nearly new vehicle. They were recommended by the Mercedes Dealership in Lynnwood, WA because the dealership didn't have the proper equipment for the task. Everything went well and our van drove noticeably better after the service. They were very personable, salt-of-the-earth type of guys. I wish all businesses were as good. read more

STOP GOING TO THIS SHOP FOR SERVICE!!! First of all, I took my 2013 nissan pathfinder for a oil change, I paid close to $100 for oil change whereby i always do my oil changes at nissan Everett. They said they change my oil but never reset the settings, I still get the oil change warning. I have returned to give them more business. I brought my BMW 3 series for tire check due to low air pressure. Day one, I was told by (Paul) that they reset my tire pressure because they cannot find the lug nuts to remove the tire and check why its low pressure. I locate the lug nut myself for them to check my tires. After checking i was told the i needed a new tire and i would also need a tire rotation. It's going to cost over $350. I was having second thoughts to take it to somewhere else, but i decided that since they spend their time i will give them the service. After several hours waiting for my car to be done, (Marc) Came and told me that i have some bad new to tell you. We align your rear tires but not able to do the front tires. They broke down one of my bolt in the tie rod ends. Marc told me he will look for the parts and let me know when i can bring the car in for them to fix it. We agreed to bring the car in on a monday, as i arrive for my appointment, Phil told me the parts are here, parts and labor will be around $500.00. COULD YOU IMAGING THEY BROKE DOWN A PART ON MY CAR AND WANTS TO CAST THE BLAME ON MY CAR, SAYING MY BOLTS ARE FROZEN, THEN WHY DO YOU HAVE TO FORCE TAKING THE BOLT OUT. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARE TO POINT S, THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY EVEN IF IT MEANS DAMAGING YOUR CAR. read more

Just went to point s tire in springfield, when I walked in both counter people just kept staring at their computer screens and didnt acknowledge me. Then charged me $75.00 to mount and balance two of my own tires, WOW what a rip off. The guy claimed he was trying to shut down internet sales of tires. I owned my own shop and these were tires I had left over, not an internet sale, but that doesn't meen you rip people off and treat them like crap. The mechanics were nice but the counter people need some training on how to treat customers. I hope the $75 was worth all the bad publicity I will be giving them. Their parking lot was totally empty and now I know why. I will be sure to inform all my old customers of their highway robbery and bad customer skills. I Returned to the store, the representative was very neglect about my problem and wanted to charge me about $128 to fix the problem. I left the store and went to another place to have it fixed.
