Great experience here. Both pools are very nice. Not much service at the main pool one day and great service the next. You can bring a cooler with non alcoholic beverages into the main pool area and you can take whatever you want (booze included) in to the lazy river pool area. The water in the main pool is COLD - at least on our visit...but our high temps were also around 85 with intermittent rain. $10 per person to get your arm band that is good throughout your stay. I didn't love having to wear one and I think a card of some sort would be preferred but in the end it's not a big deal. The beach was not my thing. Very rough and murky during our time. Nice enough sand but we traveled to Alabama the last 2 years and beaches there are much better. This place is 20ish minutes past the Galveston sea wall area so know that and plan for it in regards to groceries and other needs. Keep in mind...you are renting from individuals...so anything you read about carpet, cleanliness, etc is a reflection of the owners. Our unit was great and our elevator worked great too. read more

The only thing is the restaurant hours every time I would check on their online web page it says sold out so you can never order food online at anytime you check. Make sure you bring plenty of groceries with you and store in the fridge because it's on the far west end not much access to restaurants or grocery stores takes about 20 or so min to get to a Walmart. 5/16/2025: We rented a beach house for my friend's 50th birthday. Before getting settled, we stopped in the neighborhood restaurant. As a guest, you have to stop by the office to obtain a wristband in order to use any of the Pointe West facilities. I have a service dog and immediately registered her upon arrival, as I am a rule follower. The ladies at the desk were not the nicest at first. They obviously have a registration form because we registered her, but it seemed like they didn't want to allow my dog in when we first walked in. They have a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, and lounge, from what I could tell. We didn't stay long since we needed to get back to the house to decorate. When we entered the restaurant, AFTER registering my dog, the lady in the restaurant had to call for approval. She was a little annoyed and seemed to not trust me when I told her I already registered my dog. Keep in mind, you cannot get passed the gate without stopping by the office because you have to have a code. Once we got passed the service dog "issue", the service was good. We started with the ceviche. It was very tasty. My friend and I split the shrimp platter. Terrific shrimp and onion rings! The serving is perfect for two to split. The atmosphere was a little bland, so I took off one star. Plus, I was still embarrassed it was an ordeal with my dog. I hate confrontation. I felt a place like this (especially for what we spent for the beach house) would be a little high scale of professionalism and decor. i've been coming here for years and i've never had an experience like this ever. they didn't tell us about what to do when losing your cheat crappy wristband and expected us to pay 75 more dollars when the fell apart on the first day. then not once but four times did the power go out. first time they fixed it quick, but the other 3 times left everyone in there rooms without light and sweating. they had zero emergency to fix it and left everyone scared and extremely hot. we came to see many items in the room broken and unusable like our dishwasher, and found lamps and one of the beds broken. not to mention the beach smelt like an actual fart. the smell was rancid and had junk everywhere. i have came here many times and never have been this disappointed. i will not be coming back here. read more

We rented a three bed, two bath unit this labor day weekend. The pool areas are very nice. The location is really good. The issue? The elevators did not work and we had brought our 80 year old mother in law. I have read many reviews and the big complaint on the units on the back side by the bay is that the elevators are a mess. Not cool. There is no management on site and the grounds keeper we met did not speak English. Why are there no towel stations at the pools? Security guards were friendly. read more

In my condo that I stayed in had ants, and were all over my food. These stars are for how pretty the pool area is. The lonely, desolate pool area with no waitstaff or bar staff unless it's Spring Break. As someone else mentioned in a tip about Pointe West, there's no help or management presence, elevators always seem to be down, no pool towels and of the five days we were there, the restaurant/bar that services the pool was only open one day. On the upside, we brought in all the food, drinks and adult beverages we wanted because no one was around. Except the last night, when the bar was open. There was a security guard there too. Within two minutes of chatting with him, he lit on the hard sell to join his team in a pyramid scheme selling Stream Energy. He bragged about all the money he makes and his buddy in Garland who's a millionaire from selling it. Um, why are you a security guard at a desolate condominium complex if you make so much money, and why would a millionaire live in Garland of all places? That was very inappropriate in my opinion. He's an ex-cop who knows the owners or something. Next issue: there were poisonous Portuguese man-o-war (blue in pics below) and jellyfish ALL OVER THE BEACH at the resort. There was no information at all on these critters and we didn't know anything about them. Thankfully we googled them right from the beach before we got in the water. We learned that the tentacles on the man-o-war extend 4 feet out when they are floating and that the venom in there stings can be extremely dangerous or even deadly to some people. We also learned they can still sing you even when they are dead on the beach. As we were traveling with children, this was pretty scary. These things look like something a child would run right to and pick up! I don't blame the owners of the unit we stayed in, which was actually very beautiful and well appointed. But the "management" of the place should put up signs or leave notices in the units when people are checking in. Galveston in general is definitely not a destination beach for us, it is one of the worst Texas beaches anyway. We've only been twice in the last five years, and after this visit we really have no reason to go back. I mostly wanted to leave the warning for others to watch out for the various see creatures that might pose harm to you or your family, and the desperate security guard who wants you in his pyramid scheme. read more

Rented a condo for a few days to relax and try the amenities. Main pool is fairly small with lots of kids. The main pool you can't bring in food or drinks. The sunset pool and lazy river is ok. The lazy river is pretty small. I've been to Jamaica Beach RV park that has a bigger lazy river. You can bring food, drinks, and alcohol in cans in this pool. Problem there is that the margarita moms and beer chugging dads come with their kids and then don't watch their kids being little jerks to other patrons in the pool. To me I'm just surprised the pool are so small. To me would be so much more enjoyable with bigger pools and a lazy river. There is a nice boardwalk apt to the beach, but I'd rather be poolside. Resultant was ok, typical bar food in my opinion. Overall Pointe West amenities were ok, not great for the price you pay to rent a condo. read more

This has been a total disappointment to me and my family. The carpets are filthy I don't even want to walk Barefooted on them much less let my granddaughter Play on them!! There's a damn hole in the ceiling In the room my granddaughter is supposed to Sleep in but she's scared to even go in the Room by herself. Point West has made me look Like a total fool to my family. I haven't seen my Kids in 8 months this was supposed to be a Family vacation to where my kids and my fiancée would Get to know each other in a no stress environment And it's the complete opposite!!! My granddaughter has health issues and I would Never take her to some place as nasty as this. This place is a piece of #%€£ to say the least. Planned for 2 months . Granted my wife and I were there right after school went back so there weren't many people there but the main pool is very nice and there is a small splash pool on the lower level. Due to COVID restrictions, our group of 15 was unable to use any pool amenities during our stay. We were turned away 15 minutes after the pools opened for being "at capacity". When asked for a refund, since it was clear we would not get to enjoy the pools, they abruptly denied our request with little apology or effort to rectify the situation. For a group our size, the cost was considerable and a huge waste of money. In addition, I called staff simply to ask for the address to the lazy river and was told very rudely to look on the packet we were given instead of just....giving me the address. The resort is PERFECT! Big condos perfect for large families! Beautiful infinity pool and hot tub on main registration building and lazy river at the other location about 2 miles away. Fitness center is nice but the best is the private beach. Nice and clean property. Only complaint is not enough parking. Only one vehicle gets reserved location and everyone else is SOL. Perfect gem at the western tip of Galveston Island, far away from the crowds of the seawall. We've been coming here for 4 years now, and every trip is a welcome respite from a hectic life. Some reviewers noted specific issues with condos that they've rented. As Pointe West is not a "hotel" type resort, you do not book through a central reservations department but are actually renting directly from the condo owner (or through a management company if the owners so choose). Bottom line is this resort is great, and a highly recommended family getaway in Galveston. Research your chosen condo carefully, as there are a few that the owners have neglected. One tip: opt for a first floor unit. They're actually second floor because there is a parking garage below, but HOA regs do not allow tile for the upper units. I used to think that Houston (well Galveston) beaches really sucked. I also used to think that the best beach in Texas was Port Aransas/Rockport. So so wrong I was! I absolutely *LOVE* Pointe West and it's manicured beaches and grounds. Galveston waters are brown. I know I know...it's the gulf Pam ALL the water is brown. But Galveston waters are REALLY brown. It's also dirty, slimy, trash filled and bordering the shipping lanes/oil refineries. Yuck. Not exactly the place I want to go swimming in. You may tempted by the sea wall and strand to linger in Galveston and give the beach a second chance...skip it! Take 61st till you hit the ocean, go right another 30 minutes and arrive on the best beach in Texas. The condo association actually rakes the sand in the morning to clear off whatever debris may have accumulated. And speaking of sand, believe it or not it's actually white. There are also no vehicles allowed on this beach so it feels much more peaceful and definitely cleaner. There are 2 pools at Pointe West... the main "infinity" style pool (which is pretty sweet) and a much smaller secondary pool with a "lazy river". The term lazy river is kind of deceptive...it's actually just a small donut shaped pool with a current that is filled to the brink with kiddos. The interior of the condos I've been in have been decorated beautifully and are equally as well maintained as the beach. I love this place. I love the beach and I love the vibe. The only thing to note though is it's somewhat far from civilization. There are a couple of corner stores and small restaurants near by so definitely go grocery shopping and have all your supplies ready before you arrive. read more

Point West is a beautiful new resort and condos on Galveston west beach at San Luis Pass. The resort has turned a bunch of flat wet lands into a well developed community. They have built roads, and water features that blend well with the community. Overall the resort is beautiful and fits well into the Galveston community. read more

We went here for a long weekend get away. It was WAY NICER THAN EXPECTED. the beach/sand was fantastic like in Florida. It was such a nice time. The condo was great. The activities that you get access to for the small fee for your stay is WAY WORTH IT. the pool area were great and large enough. They do a movie in the pool at night, kids loved that. Will definitely be staying here again. It may by further down from the pier BUT still worth the drive the beach and cleanliness of the beach and water. The food looked awesome from the restaurant and heard great things - we did not partake in them this trip. We were not aware of that being there and he already stopped at the store and bought food!!! read more

We went through Vacasa - Vacation Rentals. Our Condo was VistaDelMar Condo #101. Great place to stay. I never knew this place was on the island. We stayed 3 nights and there was 9 of us. The condo was perfect size! Very clean, easy to use, and a great location. Pointe West Beach Club is very nice. We only got to use the main pool once in the evening. We ended up using the lazy river pool. I recommend with kids. You can bring your own drinks and snacks. It rained the whole day on our last full day. ugh! Invest in a beach wagon. We didn't use the beach entrance through the club. We drove and parked. It's a quit a hike. So, totting small kids and all their stuff it was easier to drive and park. They do charge you $10.00 per person to get into the pool areas. We bought all 9 bands, next time I'll buy as we go. We only used 7 bands. This condo was wonderful. You don't need anything. They don't have a grill in the condo. You have to walk a bit to grill. Were fan people. So we brought our on fans. You don't need them. They provide like 5 fans. Our over all stay was Awesome! It was definitely worth the money. My only compliant is, it wasn't long enough. haha read more

I rented via VRBO. My unit was on the Gulf side. It was on the second floor (third floor to the rest of us who don't live in houses built on stilts). The layout was terrific. The kitchen was great. The dining room, living room, bedrooms, etc. were outstanding. I liked the unit so much that I did some research into purchasing my own. So what's the problem? The people that run this place are complete Hill Rods!!! Renters are assessed a $10/person resort fee to utilize the amenities. Every person is given a security code to punch in at the gates. Guests are also required to don a rubber wristband. The amenities consist of an infinity pool and attached hot tub (beach side). On the bay side there is also a pool and lazy river. You can use the game room, fitness room, restaurant, and bar. Sounds great? The bar and restaurant are only open during "busy" times of the year. Spring break is not a busy time of the year? Really? Families with children both young and old are in the pool area all day long. The place would make a killing if the restaurant and bar were open. Even on slow days you could still have some chumbolone sell hotdogs for two bucks a crack from a window if necessary. People eat when they are on vacation. Even if they are not hungry they will still eat. Look at the potential lost revenue there. Most properties on the resort are NOT within walking distance so families would tend to pay a few bucks for lunch rather than leaving the pool and returning later. Parents would make the bar considerable income even if they only sold beer and wine. [On a side note, I asked a staff member where I could get a good meal because the restaurant was closed. He referred me to a somewhat local Chevron gas station and claimed that they sold fresh meat.] The pool on the bay side of the resort is tiny. The so-called lazy river is anything but that. Planners constructed a tunnel under FR 3005 ensure that cars don't hit kids or golf carts. That's nice but the bay side pool is so far away that you should really drive to get there. Security. Guests are given a pass code to enter at the gates (one at the main clubhouse entrance, one on the bridge/deck leading to the beach). This convenient code consists of a mere seven digits plus a character. Old people and children are going to remember this code? The website claims that the code is imprinted on the rubber wristbands. It's not. There are also several staff members that monitor the area to ensure that guests have and are wearing these bands. One thing that the nitwits don't tell you is that the color of the wristband as well as the gate code CHANGES periodically. In other words, you can and will get locked out of the pool area from the main entrance. Worse, you could be locked out from the beach entrance. You would then have to walk to the next bridge, which is roughly 1,000 yards down the beach. The fine business office closes at 5 pm daily so good luck getting the security code situation remedied. While the units are generally awesome the elevators are not. Upon my arrival, I noticed that the elevator to my unit was not working. Two days passed before I noticed an elevator repair van on the grounds. Several units were repaired including my own. Well, the elevator now goes up and down but only when it feels like it. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it beeps loudly and doesn't move. What about strollers and wheelchairs? Every thousand or so yards, there is a long wooden bridge that leads from the resort units to the beach. The bridges traverse wooded areas that are likely to contain rattlesnakes and other creatures that do not wish to be disturbed. Of course the bridges end a good 250 feet from the true beach (as in, sand with water but no rattlesnakes). With the exception of the main bridge, every bridge ended in a flooded area, which must be crossed to get to the beach. I'm not talking about standing water from a bad rain. I'm referring to water that may have creatures living in it. The areas are impassable. The main clubhouse bridge has been built up with sand to avoid such problems. Why doesn't management get out the bobcat and throw some sand around the other bridges? The planners staggered the structures to ensure quality views. However the walkways are bizarre. There is no single main walkway to get to the clubhouse. A five-minute walk turns into a ten-minute walk if you stay on the path. If you want to be efficient then you must cut across grassy areas. Guests must walk a series of zigzags and half moons to reach the clubhouse or a bridge to the beach. A main sidewalk close to the bridges running parallel to the beach would make perfect sense. If I were an owner I would be outraged because these correctable issues are keeping renters away and revenue further away. read more

We, along with two other families, have been staying here every summer for the last five years. It's a drive from Houston, right at the San Luis Pass almost. So why do we trek out here? Because it's a dang good time! We stay in a different condo each year. There's a beach side and a bay side, so it's worth planning which you're staying in. The way we do it is this - each of the three families stake a room. In the three bedroom, two have in-room baths and one takes the hall bath. There are a total of 7 kids we bring with us on this trip, and there's always a fold out sofa, couches and open space for blow up mattresses. Certain units have more beds than others, so sometimes there is less need for the extra setups. While the units are set up the same and always have a washer and dryer, they are unique like the owners. Decor differs, technology, beds, etc. Though they are stocked, it is advised to pack a can opener (and a blender if you know you'll need it), but most of the essentials are present. So why Pointe West? Beach is clean and nice pools. The main club has a great pool with a hot tub, kiddie pool and infinity pool overlooking the water. There are BBQ pits available if you want to cook and sometimes the bar is open. There's a workout room and a game room. The game room is super if you have a cranky kid and want AC or want to watch a little TV. The staff is pretty nice about letting people use the reserved seating under the canopies, just ask. The other pool is a mini lazy river on the bay side. Don't expect roaring rapids, but it's a nice option for a chill time. Only issues we've ever had are random missing kitchen items, the elevators after hurricanes, and jellyfish (just bring vinegar). But nothing compared to the memories, the crabbing at night and the good times we've had. read more

LOVED our stay here! I have lived in Houston for 20 years and only learned of Pointe West a few months ago. It was the perfect place to visit with our kids (3 kids under 5). The beach and pools were great. Our condo was perfect. A hidden gem on the west end. We did not want to leave and wish we had booked a longer stay. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. Please keep in mind the resort is different than other large beach hotels/resorts/all inclusives. There is only one restaurant/bar on site with limited hours - we brought all our own food so we never had to eat there. No towel service at pool. I believe alcohol drinks are not allowed at the pool. The pool rules are located on the resort website so please read before booking. We had a beach front condo and not near the pool and ended up driving in our car anytime we went to the pools. The pools are not heated. Please do you due diligence when choosing a condo. Most are listed on vrbo.com and each one is individually managed by the owner of the condo, not the beach club. I love this place too. My family has been going there since 2010 at least once a year. It's driving distance from Austin for a weekend and feels more like Florida than TX. If you are used to downtown Galveston (love the town part, but not so much the beach) you will be very surprised by Pointe West's deep and wide white sand beaches. There is also no driving on the beach here which is unusual for Texas. I love that you don't have to have your kids watch for trucks as they run and play in the sand! Plus it just keeps it looking nicer. They have their beach cleaned very frequently. Seems like several mornings a week a truck cleans up the sand, seaweed etc. I also love sitting by the pool and having someone bring me a fruity beverage! The little gift shop there is great. Alice, the lady who runs it, could charge twice as much as she does for the adorable swim suits, beach bags, cover-ups, sunglasses etc, but I love that she doesn't. Also ice-cream sandwiches, cones or popsicles for a buck! I can just send in the kids with a dollar each and they are happy! I agree with the reviewer below: research the condo you rent. We always do VRBO, but check out the photos and read the reviews. I find you get what you pay for. If it is deeply discounted, there is probably a reason! As for his comment about only first floor units having tile, not true, other units do too. Just check out the photos or ask when you book. Having gone here for so long we've seen it's ups and downs. There was a big storm in May and the place and landscape looked a little tattered over Memorial Day, but was all fixed up by the time we returned in July. New restaurant management and chef started this May (sorry to hear that they were closed last Spring Break, that is weird...must have been during the transition), but food is better now than it has ever been, although sometimes a little slow. read more

The worst accommodations I've ever seen in my life. They are telling you they are making sure they are following COVID guidelines of 50% or less but there is less than 10% of the people out and they shut the pool down to clean but will not let you sit inside. The island is dealing with the worst mosquito problem I've ever seen and with a 3 month old this is by far one of the worst vacations destinations I've ever taken. They could do a better job they are just not. We basically paid for wrist bands and never used the facility. I would have been ok with their restrictions but at least they could have told me the truth when I called. I would have made other plans. read more

In advance of a recent stay at one of the condos in the area the payment for pool fees was required before our arrival, with a notation on the invoice that all transactions are final. However, the pool's availability during Covid was limited and only two out of eight members in our party were allowed access during the time of our choosing. Needless to say, we chose not to swim. This was aggravating, but understandable due to Covid. However, the club would not grant even a partial refund. Given the uncertainty of Covid, I believe the fees should be assessed at the time of usage, not in advance, and the club should be a little more flexible in granting refunds to meet these circumstances. read more

Pointe West Club is taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation and will take advantage of you. We went here for a girls trip in September 2020 and planned to do a beach day Saturday and pool day Sunday but when we tried to go to the pools (we tried both), they would not let us in because they were at capacity (we arrived 10 min after the pool opened). We understand they must have policies in place because of COVID, but I immediately called the office to let them know we are unable to use our wristbands and still have them and our waivers if we could please come by the office and get refunds for them and they very strongly and abruptly rejected our request stating we could continue to check back at other times throughout the day to try to make it before it reaches capacity at other time slots. I told them that we had a decent size group and it would be a waste of our day lugging everyone back and forth all day, just for the possibility of getting into their pools and we would rather just get refunds and do another beach day but they continued to be very adamant about NO REFUNDS. I fought them for a few days about it but they clearly have had to fight this fight before because their responses were generic and very impersonal. They are clearly taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation and over-selling their wristbands when they know they cannot possibly account for everyone with their restrictions in place and then ask that we be understanding of the COVID-19 situation when THEY are not being understanding themselves. They should offer refunds or at least half your money back if you are unable to use their amenities because of their restrictions. Also, the mosquitoes were HORRENDOUS. You'd walk outside and get eaten alive, they were SWARMING!!! I am not over exaggerating when I say we all went home with mosquito bites all over us. They really need to have a routine spray for them. We did love our condo though and wrote a wonderful review of our condo on Airbnb. It's a shame the costumer service at Pointe West Club makes me never want to return. read more

The only good thing about this place was the Infinity pool. The food was overpriced and selection was limited. Worst yet, the hours certain things are open seem limited for mid summer jaunts! The condo itself had too many things wrong with it. Imagine a July heat wave and no working elevator especially for older people or slightly disabled people! There's very little outside of the condo location for eateries and/or dives. The two places there seem quite expensive and hard to find. Beds are hard. It never seemed to cool down in the condo. Staff do not enforce rules (kids in game room unattended climbing all over the place acting like spoiled brats...people bringing in their own booze...etc). Finally.....owner only cabanas? What a mean gesture! I am glad I did not pay for this place. I would not visit again. I would not stay down in this part of Galveston. read more

We paid for our wristbands to utilize the amenities with no direction as to how to make an "appointment" to utilize the pools until we showed up to the lazy river 10 minutes after opening and it was at capacity. The kind security guard advised us check the other pool and once we arrived they were already at capacity as well. They recommended we get on the list for an "appointment" but there were no guarantees. At that point we were already moving our trip itinerary around so that we could get our moneys worth, but no dice on getting in. We asked for a refund as we were unable to utilize the amenities however, the staff was firm on no refunds. During these unprecedented times, it's definitely understandable that there is a capacity limit, and that they are attempting to follow covid guidelines, but they are taking advantage of their guests. Why not sell the wristbands at the gate as guests would like to utilize the pools? As guests leave, cut the bands off. OR just give guests a refund when they tried but could not access the pools! Also, the island was having a nightmare mosquito problem. Pointe west had large bodies of water throughout the development some had fountains that were on only for about 12 hours a day and others had absolutely no movement, making this a breeding ground for Jumanji sized mosquitos. Hopefully they spray and can figure out a way to keep the water flowing throughout the development! read more

The beach house was located right next to the beach and had a bridge for easy travel. The infinity pool was the highlight of the beach club. Would recommend. read more

We were given a full refund of club fees due to everything being closed during the Coronavirus. Our condo is absolve amazing and stocked with everything you could want for a vacation. When the beach club is open their facilities are excellent. We will be back ! Also with social distancing you can still have a great vacation here with the beach and a relaxing condo. read more

Day 2.5. The actual theory of Pointe West is really great. Buy yourself a beach house, get a pool, restaurant, bar, game room, beach access, parks, etc...all included. It could be better executed though. Although the houses here are really suburban in nature, they are cute though and the complimentary design between the condos and the homes is a nice touch. It is a bit too much of a good thing though. The main pool facility is down right great. Bring your lunch because there are two outdoor kitchens complete with a fridge and a huge grill. The infinity pool overlooking the Gulf is lovely and well kept. The kiddie pool is nothing special, but the kids enjoyed it. The hot tub is big and well, hot. There are plenty of lounge chairs, tables and even a few cabanas. On the bay side of the resort there is another, smaller pool facility with a "lazy river" but we weren't all that impressed by it. It's really just a small doughnut shaped pool with a current. There are plenty of walking/biking/whatever trails, but the facility is about a mile and a half long and it's a bit much for me to walk that in the Texas heat carrying around pool toys. What they should have is a golf cart bus route. That would be RAD! All in all we have enjoyed our time here. I would recommend it for sure. read more

Whhaaaaat are we all doing, driving to Florida, Alabama, or Corpus? West G is amazing! I grew up going to Galveston beaches, like Stewart, or playing by the seawall next to the San Luis (only stayed there once). Galveston is thought of as the $%&iest beach in Texas, the absolutely last place you wanna go to sit by the sea. ENTER W. GALVESTON ISLAND. Pointe West is allll the way down at the other end. It's a good 30 minutes from what most of us think of as Galveston. It's a world of difference. - Giant, open beach with no one on it. Even if these condos were at full capacity, you'd have trouble filling the beach. It's a goof half mile or more long, 100 yards wide. - Blue water. nuff said. - Dunes - like "real" beaches, it's a bit of a walk out from the condo with your gear. Thankfully there were so few people that we literally left our tent, shelter, and chairs out the whole week without problems. - Pools. There are two main pools on the property. My favorite is the lazy river. We'd show up at dusk and sip on beers or pinas. Mgmt doesnt allow alcohol, but no one was there and the shop was closed up. The lazy river pool is like a mini jungle, great for kids as well. Though I could see it being really overcrowded if more units were full. - Restaurant. The food was kinda meh, and service was weird. But if you need food, you can go to the restaurant. Otherwise you're driving east or west towards a store. Overall, I highly recommend Pointe West. You can get the real beach experience without driving forever! read more

I have stayed here 3 times and never had any problem at all. I rent from the same person every year and get the same condo. It looks out at the coast and our balcony is so large it is amazing. We take are twin grandchildren. This year they were 5. They love going. They call it our borrowed house. Our condo is right next to the club house. The pool is super large along with the hot tube. The kiddie pool is very large also. Discover the covered cabanas with comfortable chairs and some table and chairs with umbrellas. Many many lounge chairs scattered all around the pool area. Order food and drinks (adult drinks also) for your pleasure at the pool. Our grandkids always make friends at the club house. It is a wonderful place if you have kids or if you are single and want to have a good time with your friends. The club and pool area is big enough for all kinds! The people are friendly and you will find security at the pool area. You will find locker rooms with showers for men and women. There is a lazy river across the street at the other condos that you have access to if you desire to use it. Pointe West Beach Club is worth checking into. Very disappointing my husband uses a walker and all the elevators we had to use were broken! We asked specificity if there were elavators they said yes, forgot to ask if working! One was fixed after 4 days. We stayed in condo right by beach club. We spoke to residents and service workers and they said they were always broken. Not handicap friendly! read more
