Told me he would be in and out in 2-3 days once the project started. After canceling the start date 2xs bec one worker called out sick, the work commenced. One week later and after tremendous aggravation, the work finally finished. Id grade the work a B. I paid in full in good faith because Marco promised he would come back and fix up some areas. Shame on me because he never intended to come back after repeated texts from him saying he would. In fact, he stopped responding to my texts. Unfortunately, some lies were told and I have since terminated my relationship with Carbillano and asked them not to come back to my property. Thank goodness its only money, and clearly doing an 80% job is what Carbillano knows best from my personal experience. I'm certain Carbillano will respond with lies, smooth talk and twist the story around for what really happened. I already have an email making me out to be the bad guy lol. If you have any doubts that Im telling the truth, please reach out to me as I have texts, emails, pictures of the shoddy work and my wife is also happy to share the lies we were told. Im happy to serve as a reference so no one else gets conned. I should have known better after the start date moved twice and Marco desperately needed to be paid in order "to make payroll." They added new mulch as a "favor" to get a good review but it's full of weeds and looks far worse! He never told us about an irrigation winterizing/turn off fee. We would NEVER hire them again. He doesn't return texts of phone calls. His Brother's contracting company is amazing but sadly this apparently doesn't extend to "Marco", the new owner of Carbillano. A month ago, I dialed National and got a free estimate. The person's name Artie showed up late. He will give you a good price and that seems to be catch. Schedule to install Sprinkler system was agreed on one of Thursday. No one showed up the whole day. After three try Artie texted me that it was mix-up and he can do installation on April 30th. We agreed. Yesterday 4/29, I had neither text nor phone call for confirmation. I texted Artie and no response. I left VM and no answer. After that he started disconnecting my phone. I had no choice, so I called the main number. At office one lady tried to help me by checking schedule and told me we are not on their schedule for 4/30. I explained that I need to take Day-off for this and he should have at least a curtsy to call me. She promises me that Artie will call you. Instead of calling I got text, and he said I am running late in scheduled installation, and I will not be able to do your job. He even told me that he would be fine if I found another company to do a job. Really, After one month of loss. Please take in writing if they will honor the installation date.
