I also ordered the matcha ice cream. It was odd - some crushed cookies (?) on the bottom then topped with raspberry sauce, two pocky sticks, red bean paste, almonds, and condensed milk. The matcha ice cream can stand alone and all of those toppings are unnecessary. The server was nice but super awkward. There were only 5 tables during the lunch rush. The kitchen is also very open. I saw a "sushi chef" open packages of defrosted minced tuna, empty them onto a cloth napkin, then wring out the water over the garbage can. I won't be back.

The food was done on time and the restaurant did look nice when I went to pick it up. Overall wouldn't recommend, the food did not justify the price in either taste or portion size.

The Kensington roll tastes okay, overall. The roll itself is just a crab stick and cucumber and not much to it, but the roll is quite big, could barely fit into my mouth, looked like a chipmunk. The service is quite good, really attentive staff. The lobster super star has a lot going on, but the overall flavor is just average. Not much of a super star for me. Nothing special to note about this roll for me. The Dolsot is okay, would be nicer to have a spicy grilled chicken option, as some places offer. Still not too bad.

The decor is so cute and unsuspecting from the strip mall appearance. The service was excellent, friendly, and on top of hospitality. All of the rolls and nigiri were tasty.
