My husband and I ordered based on the amazing reviews and had Grubhub deliver. I chose a poke bowl with a salad base and my husband had the rice. He took one or two bites and stopped eating. He said his entire bowl tasted like ginger . He had no ginger added at all so this was a Waste of a meal for him. He also ordered a Large and it was the same amount of food as my regular. My bowl was less than average. The salmon and tuna were prefect and delicious but everting else was average. I don't think it's worth the money. Just seems like another fad. read more

Amazing. This is my second tango with poke and considering my first experience, I was a little nervous but fear not, this place is a gem! Let's talk about this place. First, the temperature of the fish is perfect- I always worry about the fish being too warm but this place did not have that problem. Additionally, the rice was a good complementary temperature and did not cook my fish! Second, the fish was fresh, the octopus was soft and well made. The salad was crispy and fresh- no crappy wilted lettuce here! The sauce and kimchi they make in house and both are flavorful and spicy! They also offer vegetarian options and bbq bowls for folks who don't want fish. The staff is also really friendly! I'm only giving a one star since I can't give zero stars. I ordered takeout through doordash and realized when I got home that they gave me the wrong thing. On doordash, I ordered the poke bowl. What I got instead was a sushi wrap. The worker I spoke to explained that there was a problem with doordash's online ordering (I ordered a poke bowl with "white rice (seaweed wrap)" as the base, not knowing that it would only show up as a wrap on Poke 2U's end. Why would a wrap even be an option under the "Poke Bowl" category anyway? Regardless of the flaw on doordash's ordering system, my wrap literally only had rice and spicy tuna inside of it, and none of the 7 toppings I ordered. When I brought this to the attention of the Poke 2U worker, all he said was "we're sorry. that's a doordash problem, there's nothing we can do about it." Didn't even try to offer a refund or a discount, at least. I also ordered a bulgogi beef bowl, in which I found a piece of hair in. And the spicy tuna roll was beyond bland/not spicy, and it didn't even taste like legit spicy tuna. Most likely will find my poke and sushi fixes elsewhere. read more

I had to stop into to the newest Poke restaurant in Tempe to try their wide variety of proteins. They offer both a bowl meal or you can have your Poke as a wrap. Different from other competitors, they also offer both beef and chicken BBQ options for those not fond of raw fish. There is also Tofu and Tamago offered for the vegetarians in the group. Ordered from Poke2U through Postmates. It's a beef bowl. On my second bite found a piece of hard rubber about 3/4 inch x 1/4 inch. Also some small bones in beef. Overall this was an average poke experience. Compared to other places I have been the serving size seemed smaller at this price point for three proteins. Wish I would have been able to choose my sauce instead of just the 'spice' level I wanted. I swear for the non-spicy option it looked as though they added in mustard. Pros and cons after my first visit. Pros: the fish tasted great as did the sauce. I'm not sure what the sauce was....I asked for medium and got a myriad of different sauces to make up whatever "medium" was but it was good. They had crispy garlic which was a good addition. They also offered free miso soup. Cons: the bowl was full of mostly rice and lettuce which made it hard to eat at the beginning without spilling toppings. The biggest problem is their scoop sizes for the protein. It's clearly smaller than local competitors like Ahipoki Bowl. I don't expect a ton of fish but it's less than Ahi overall for the same price. The funny part is they were training a new kid. His trainer explains what he should ask me at the lettuce station (not addressing me). When he was done the kids just says, "so what do you want?" to me which is an inappropriate way to address a customer. Good to try but I'll stick with Ahipoki Bowl in the future. read more

I have been to Poke 2U multiple times and have had something go wrong every time I've been there. Today topped it off to the point where i will not be returning. A co worker and me were the only customers ordering, we waited over 20 minutes for our food and they forgot to give me the only thing i ordered after handing my friend her food. After reminding the girl i ordered food also, she said "oh yeah" and proceeded to put my order that sat in an aluminum bowl getting cold for 10-15 minutes in the to-go container. I was already irritated that the only two girls working sat and chit chatted while we were waiting for our food, but on top of it they completely forgot to put my food in the container, let it get bone cold, and gave it to me like it wasn't a problem. I called when i arrived back at work to tell them they forgot to even put any sauce in with my cold food, and the girl was extremely rude about it. Not worth the money they charge for such poor service. read more

I like this place. It's fast and the quantity of food that you get is good, especially if you get all of the included toppings as part of the poke bowl. However, the staff can sometimes be a little oblivious as I imagine it is hard to hear behind the glass barriers. For example, I did not want any sauces but the guy putting together my bowl immediately started putting sauces in it as if from muscle memory. Needless to say, I asked them to start over and they were happy to do that. So if you have certain eating restrictions or preferences, speak up! Will continue to come here again! read more
