Food: We both ordered the Hawaiian bowl. Fresh and fabulous. Pineapple in it, I like pineapple so that's my thing. I ordered a peach smoothie and it has popping boba in it. And my partner had pineapple smoothie with boba. Everything 5 stars. Service: Quick ordering. (However, 15 people came in right after us and it got crowded at the front) Everything on the menu was clear. Frequent emptying of the trash, and frequent cleaning of tables and taking trays. Ambiance: Music is current, nice vibes in here, a little loud but it's because the space and the tables are almost all full. Tables: There's 4 tables for 4 people, 2 stools by the window, and 2 larger tables for up to 8 people each. So, the space isn't huge, there is some outside seating (no umbrellas though). The garbage can is in the end of the restaurant, and there's no pickup window or counter, it's this shelf on the wall which I think is more to do with DoorDash? Would definitely come here again. It's at the northern end of tower drive so more parking.

Did you know? They have poke bowls and ramen too! Came here on two occasions and really enjoyed the food. They also have cute indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather on nice days. The food and poke is super fresh. Flavor combinations are tasty. Reminds me of Hawaii. I enjoyed Jimmys creation the most. There's an option to customize and enjoy!

This was a last minute, dinner gem that my friend and I discovered! We ordered three poke burritos, two rolls, and a side of edamame. Everything was delicious! We couldn't stop making "yummy" sounds and raving about the food. The employees were very friendly, and had our order packed and ready to go in a really nice reusable bag. I'll be back, poke burrito!

I have been looking for a new spot for delicious sushi burrito and Poke Burrito is my new favorite! I had the edamame for a starter which is always my go to. It was very yummy. Next I are the Salmon Obsession Burrito. There are so many different toppings in it and each topping compliments the others so well. I couldn't help but devour the burrito. I additionally paired my meal with a Thai iced tea with Tapioca. It was the perfect treat to make for a delicious savory and sweet meal. The staff at the counter was additionally so friendly and willing to answer my questions. The overall ambiance was light, colorful and open. You order at the counter or can order online and pick up the food at the shelves to the left of the door when you walk in. If you do decided to order online, they give you a very nice quality Poke Burrito reusable bag. Overall it was such a positive experience and I'm excited to go back soon!

I'm so excited about Poke Burrito in Glenview! I've had Poke Burrito before and loved it, so I already knew this was gonna be good! You can order either through the counter or at a kiosk. I ordered the Jimmy's Creation bowl with half white rice half greens. My mom ordered the Hawaiian Classic. We both loved our bowls! They were so fresh and tasty. We got them at BOGO for their Friday grand opening deals. They have a variety of food items and drinks on their menu. They also had menus up with sushi and appetizers coming soon. They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. I would love to come back and try their mochi donuts, corn dogs, and boba! Also they were playing an entire LANY playlist which made my dine in experience even better haha. I will be back!

Our favorite bowl is the "Jimmy"

Have been here 4-5 times. Every time, the food is fresh and delicious offered in generous servings. Casual atmosphere with nice lighting. Good service.

Really nice bar with a few TVs for sporting events -- but I wouldn't' call it a sports bar. Friendly local crowd and attentive bartenders. Menu is an interesting one, with some large and delicious apps. Along the way and through a couple of visits I've enjoyed literally everything I've had there. From the app menu, props for the eggplant stack (unique presentation), the hummus trio, and the octopus -- all of which were solid, all of which were enough to be an entree. The entrees are a range of sandwiches (predictable and good), pastas (loved the mushroom pappardelle), chicken (ok, haven't tried them yet -- can get chicken entrees anywhere!), steaks/chops (the pork chop is excellent as is the skirt steak), and seafood (bravo for the swordfish -- which I don't see around these parts much, and the seafood platter). Service was a little spotty at the tables, but that was at an early visit and perhaps it's been worked out; bar service truly outstanding. Glenview is becoming a more competitive restaurant market with several new entrants (although many of them in the old downtown); hoping this family-owned/operated place succeeds the way it deserves to!.

Social Inn has been on my to-try list for some time.  My husband and I finally had a chance to…read morecheck it out on a Monday evening recently.  I made a reservation via Tock that I already had an account for years, so that was simple. On a weekday evening, as expected, the restaurant was not busy.  We were promptly seated at a 4-top table (2 × 2-top) against the right wall, with some other 2-tops on both sides.  Like many reviewers had mentioned, the venue was beautiful, modern and chic. There were 7 tables occupied, including us.  The music that they had was not too loud, just that customers' conversations were amplified by the box shape open dining area.  If we focused enough, we could hear every conversation if we wanted to.  This was obvious when a table of about 6 women got seated at a table near the front door, some of them laughed and talked very loudly.  My husband and I just found it funny and didn't let that bother us.  However, when the restaurant is filled on busier days, it might be a different story. Our server, Patrick, was very nice and attentive.  Since they did not list drinks on their menu except those with alcohol, I asked him about non-alcoholic drinks.  After a brief "discussion", he asked me to leave it to him to make me a drink with mango.  He came up with a beautiful drink that was good and refreshing, with some mango flavor.  It was Virgin Paloma on our receipt for $8, which was reasonable.  He was very polite and checked in on us several times at appropriate times during our dinner.  The pace of the dinner was good, we spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes in the restaurant. Patrick might be the only waiter serving all the tables that evening, though. I also ordered Grilled Octopus ($22) which was very good, tender and flavorful, but was a little too salty to my taste.  The small pita bread wedges were warm and fluffy with some crispy edges, the beet hummus was creamy, and everything was delicious and tasted fresh.  I generously shared 2 little bites of octopus with my husband and I finished the entire plate, it was so good!  My husband really liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) and I shared a bite of that too.  He also had a House Salad for $6, that was a very good value.  He enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc Crossing ($12) too.  We also shared an order of Crème Brulee ($8), that was creamy and cooked perfectly.  We ordered a takeout order of Rigatoni with Sausage ($23), that was a good portion, and was still delicious and al dente the next day after being microwaved. I am so happy that we found Social Inn - a hidden gem in Plaza del Prado, it's not far from home, with comfortable and beautiful ambiance, excellent service (from Patrick), an attractive menu with enticing food (fresh ingredients and appealing plating), and reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!

We were in the area late in the day and remembered Social Inn was open, so we went. We ordered a variety of items. I had the Social Burger (at least 1/2 pound), we also ordered their chicken dinner salad and the beet hummus. Everything was delicious. I did order my burger medium and it was delivered well done, but it was still good. They also have one of the best gluten-free buns I've ever had. I do wish they were open at lunch time still, but I understand they need to be open for their busiest hours. Social Inn is a great option when you are in the Glenview area.

The entrees were amazing - I had the cod, even though my friends tried to talk me out of it, but I love cod. It was so flaky and flavorful and served on a garlicky potato puree that was amazing. We did start with appetizers including the saganaki, but it definitely had sat too long - it was super flavorful but way different than when they bring it out flaming. The hostess and desk staff were fantastic- called our host by name leaving, which was a nice touch. Our server was very funny and personal, but it was a little firm over function- I felt like he was using his personality as a distraction. I would absolutely come here again as I love Greek food and they also have a nice offering of Greek wine - need to try more!

A few "highlights" of our visit: Dishonesty: A server lied and said there was no kids' menu (which is clearly listed on their website) just to avoid a meal substitution. When I asked about ordering chicken tenders, the server told me they didn't have a kid's menu and were only making an "exception" for my daughter. I later found the full kids menu on their website. Instead of simply explaining an age policy, he chose to be dishonest and was visibly annoyed that I even asked. Being Ignored: It took 20 minutes and multiple people flagging down a server just to get one bottle of Coke. I asked the female waitress 3 times for the Coke and she repeatedly looked at me and ignored me. It took 20 minutes and 3 family members calling out to the server to get her attention. Disrespect: The hostess literally put her hand in my face when I politely asked for a to-go bag. I politely asked the hostess for a to-go bag, she actually put her hand in my face and told me to "hold on." When she finally returned, she mean mugs me and handed me the bag without a word even after I gave her an underserved thank you. If this were my party, I'd be demanding a refund. This place makes other local diners look like five-star establishments. Unbelievable and completely disappointing. Will never be returning.

The place has options of seating - inside and outside, ranging from metal chairs to comfortable upholstered benches. We got the tom kha to begin with, which my husband, who's not vegetarian, devoured. It was truly delicious! We then got the Kung Pao with mushrooms and it was incredible - the flavors, the choice of vegetables, the sauce - all of it! We also got a chow mein but with rice noodles - this was the one dish that could take some improvement. Granted, the original recipe calls for wheat noodles, and that might be really good, though our rice noodles version of it was came out soggy. Our server had clearly had a long day - she was tired and forgetful (didn't bring us rice and we had a hard time flagging her down to request it). She also just brought us the check after dinner, without asking if we wanted any dessert. All in all, highly recommend this place for delicious plant-based food.

Our server seemed to be rushing us once it was obvious we weren't dong salads or apps. He took our drink order, and returned a while later with our drinks. Not 40 seconds passed before he returned to take our orders. Realizing his faux pas, he left us to talk for a while before returning to take our orders. After a terrific dinner, we asked for the bill. As we were paying cash, we asked that the 3% surcharge be removed, we also had slightly less than $35 left and Lettuce Entertain You gift certificates as well as a $15 birthday discount. I included enough cash to give a 22% tip. We were at the restaurant for another 15 minutes or so as our family was finishing their drinks, and the waiter came up to me and whispered that I only gave him a 13% tip, and if he felt that the service that he delivered was inadequate,he understands, but ", if not, it should've been $20 more. I was shocked that he was so brazen, and asked him to bring back the Bill so I could show him what I did. He did so, and discovered that he credited $20 less cash than I actually gave him, and apologized for the error. What made this even more irritating was that we were seated, for a special occasion, at the staging section right in front of the kitchen. That enough alone was enough to keep parties rotating the tables quickly, we did not need to be pushed by our server. We really enjoy this restaurant, and this will not prevent us from returning, however, we will request that we never sit in the section again, and hopefully will not have this server again in the future.

The pork chop was nice and tender, but did not have a lot of character amongst it. Like... the char was the biggest textural difference. The lamb chops were good, but difficult to negotiate around the bone. The service was excellent and attentive. No worries there! Overall, it's OK, but maybe I'm not the right audience for such a classic presentation.
