Met an old friend of mine here for dinner. We made a reservation online with no issues. The outside seating area was very nice and cozy. They had cute stringed lights set up, some fans for when it is hot, and heat flames - not sure if the flames were heaters or decor only, but my guess would be they actually work (we sat on the side closer to the building so not next to them, thankfully as I actually got a little hot). We had a nice young woman for our server who was very attentive and sweet. She answered our questions, specifically the difference between the "Tacos" and "Grilled Tacos" - for the record, it has nothing to do with the meat (like grilled chicken vs fried) and everything to do with the taco style - meaning corn or flour, and grilled like a panini or regular style. We had some drinks - margarita, sangria, and a moscow mule; all great! We ordered the cornbread for the table. It was a little different from your typical cornbread - it had jalapeños in it but wasn't too spicy and was more like grilled pieces than baked. And they were cut up into triangular shapes. Not as sweet as some other cornbreads and had like a chipotle dipping sauce. For our meals, we had the Trippy Taco bowl, mix and match regular tacos chicken and steak, and a burger. The entrees came out quickly, great presentation, and as expected. The tacos and burger came with fries (shoe-string) and they were quite delicious - and the salad had a nice amount of tortilla chip strips on top. It's an interesting mix of american and mexican, done tastefully. The menu had enough options without being too overwhelming.

Came here for the first time for late lunch. Menu was extensive with burgers and tacos. Opted for a…read morefish taco, shrimp taco, and side of rice. Was really good and would recommend this place again for a tasty and reasonable meal. Service was very pleasant.

On her first visit, I asked my girlfriend--who comes here regularly--what some of the best places…read moreto eat were, and this restaurant was at the top of her list. Of course, we had to make it a priority during our trip. It was about an 18-minute drive, and when we arrived, there was a huge amount of parking available. The area is set up with about four different restaurants all next to each other, so you definitely have options if you want to grab drinks or even bar hop a little. Since everything is located right on the water, all of the restaurants have really nice views. Hudson's was located all the way to the left and had more of its own private parking area closer to the entrance. The atmosphere felt like a laid-back, rugged seafood bar with plenty of seating inside and outside on the deck. If you're lucky enough to grab a seat at the outdoor bar, I'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it was packed when we visited, so we ended up sitting at the inside bar instead. Even sitting inside, there was a lot of entertainment between the bartender and the guy cracking stone claws behind the bar. We ordered a bucket of local oysters, which turned into an experience all on its own. This was actually my first time shucking my own oysters at a restaurant, and since many of them were stuck together, it made the whole thing even more fun and interactive. We also shared a she-crab soup that was creamy, thick, and absolutely delicious--10 out of 10 recommend. They also offer frozen drinks if you're looking for something more refreshing than a typical beer, and we ended up trying a few local beers while we were there as well. The only confusing part of the visit was finding the women's restroom, which is oddly located right next to the hostess stand, while the men's restroom is all the way in the back. Overall, this was such a fun experience. Sitting around shucking oysters, drinking local beer, and enjoying the waterfront atmosphere all afternoon is definitely my kind of Saturday.

Snow Crab was good but has been every place been to. Got a side eye as there main crab is to the stone crab claws with mustard sauce. Have decent by bottle and glass list of wine and extensive beer including a few on tap. Bar tender gave good service while being friendly to locals and tourists like us. Place is right on water. No reservation but we luckily got two seats at the bar after being told 60 minute wait for table outside. Understandable as view is amazing especially at sunset.
