Yum! I love that there's a poke place in the area. Glad this is a place where I don't have to get near options (although they have chicken). the place is located in the same plaza as the food lion in port wentworth, so that means amole parking. You have the option to make your own bowl or choose from one of their creations on the menu. We got the the shrimp and volcano to go. The portions are huge, bigger than any other poke spot I've been to - I don't think that will last though. The shrimp bowl was good, but the volcano was better! Either way, you can't go wrong. They have different options for a base- brown rice, sushi rice, and white rice (imo, sushi rice is the way to go). There's also boba tea, haven't tried yet, but they have several options. For two bowls we spend about $30, pretty good price! Great addition to the area, friendly staff, super clean interior. read more

This place lands pretty mid-range for me. Nothing was terrible, but also nothing blew us away, we probably won't come back just because of how expensive it is for what you order. We ordered the karaage chicken bowl and tempura shrimp bowl. The toppings they came with are basic but we are used to bowls including crab salad, seasweed salad and or an egg. All of those topping would cost you and extra $1 each on top of paying $14 for your bowl. You also have to pay an extra $4 if you want extra or more than one protein. The shrimp bowl only came with 3 tempura shrimp on it, which felt lacking. Overall the flavor was good but you're mostly eating rice. Too expensive in my opinion for not really getting a decent amount of protein. They have good tea though. The service was pretty quick and they were very kind. Ambiance is cute but they seem more like a place centered around to-go orders. read more

This place is an absolute gem tucked away in the back corner of the food lion parking lot! Got the salmon bowl and taro boba which were both a solid 10/10. I've had my string of bad luck with restaurants in this area but this is one of the better spots. SUPER clean on the inside. The two ladies working inside were very friendly on New Year's Eve when I stopped in. Food came out VERY fast. I am usually not a big fan of corn (included in the dish) but the combination of ingredients with the poke, cucumber, sushi rice and a slight hint of wasabi all worked out deliciously! This incredible meal was the highlight of my lonesome evening! Everyone else out shooting off fireworks, hanging out with friends and family and I'm passing the time with poke and boba! Needed something healthy & satisfying after a round of golf so i stopped at this new poke shop on my way home. Just conveniently located off I-95. Their shop is tidy & clean, if i am eating some raw fish today, this is a restaurant i will feel comfortable ordering from. I built my own bowl and the owner patiently went through all the options, ingredients looking fresh, they also offered single bite samples so i tried chicken & tuna. I liked the spicy chicken, but i have to go with tuna since i am eating poké bowl. Cant complain about any ingredients in there honestly, that spicy mayo i got on top is just DaBomb, binds everything well together, every mouthful feels just like a fancy sushi roll exploding in my mouth. Sure i will be back and grab that spicy chicken bowl. read more

I'm so excited there is a new Poke Restaurant in Port Wentworth! Tucked inside the Food Lion shopping center, the restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff greeted me right away. The menu is clear and simple to navigate. They offer signature poke bowls or you can build your own. The topping & protein bar area was very clean. I have a shellfish allergy so this is super important to me. I love poke restaurants, but if they cross contaminate spoons or don't keep their prep areas clean then sadly I had to pass. This wasn't a worry at all! I decided on the build your own. The white rice was nice and sticky, you can choose unlimited toppings & two proteins. I got the chicken, which I will admit did not scream yummy on the protein bar but once I added the sweet soy sauce it was delicious! The size of the bowl is large and filling. I also got the milk tea. The boba was cooked perfectly. I hope they add more flavors. Overall I'm super pleased with Yum Poke and will definitely be returning! read more

A new poke bowl place has opened...of all places in port Wentworth, however I confidently say it is superior than the places found in downtown/North of Derenne in Savannah! I was impressed with both the cleanliness of the place as well as the service. But above all the food was amazing and the selections are vast! And the portion size is appropriate for what you pay for. I actually had to dig for the rice which is a first. I got the volcano bowl, which I didn't realize had diced pineapples in it, but put it up against the jalapeño slice and it's a perfect bite! It's not too hot so even non-spice lovers should enjoy it. I added kimchi because I love it and it just added to the incredible flavor. So glad to have come across this place and will definitely be back. read more

I ordered a kid's bowl because I wasn't sure how fresh it would be. I believe my total was around $13. The amount of food was perfect for me as I don't need a large amount. I couldn't finish the kid's size. I made my own bowl with Salmon.. I added massago and mango. I wanted a mixture of rice and greens but the greens were just romaine lettuce so I passed. I wish they had micro greens or some type of flavorful salad. They did not have shredded nori which I prefer. I got the Poke sauce and it had a kick but was not flavorful. It was good, but Poke Hana was superior. It is labeled as Hawaiian style, it's not. It's sushi in a bowl. read more

First of all the place is SPOTLESS. You can tell they clean it every day. The food is great. The two ladies behind the counter were very attentive and gave great recommendations on ingredients and toppings. My wife and I have been twice now and we've loved it both times. She loves the salmon bowl but I tried building your own bowl and to me, that's the way to go. They are very generous with their portions as well. It's definitely going to be our new little spot.
