I wanted a light dinner, but not as light as what I got. I ordered a regular bowl with spring mix. For my choice of two proteins I had spicy tuna and poke salmon. I have no complaints regarding freshness or quality. My gripe is with quantity. The "scoops" were each incredibly meager, only a couple of tablespoons per fish. There was an up charge for a lot of ingredients that are commonly free (like imitation crab and seaweed salad), with a pretty limited list of free extras. Again the food itself wasn't bad but the value was not there to bring me back.

Poke Plus has been my go-to for quick abs affordable poke. It's located on state street and is a small store with limited indoor seating. I have gotten the large bowl there multiple times (includes 3 protein, sides, and multiple toppings) and have always left feeling satisfied. The quick service, selection of toppings, and overall solid poke makes this venue my go to spot. While Poke Plus isn't the flashiest poke venue in Madison, it's definitely consistent in food and the portion size is worth it in my opinion!

My family and I were in town to visit. We were happy to try this restaurant. The restaurant was cleaned and organized. My husband and I had steak teriyaki. The meat was chewy that we can not chew. My daughter had chicken teriyaki. It was fine. I will come back to try other dishes. But I will definitely not try steak again.

Found a giant bug in their soup. There was a terrible smell outside of the restaurant and should have not gone into such establishment.

I'be been in many Japanese restaurants, from high end one to the to go ones and I gave at least 3 stars for each of them. However, this restaurant is an exceptional to earn "one star" in my opinion. First impressions when I walked in was the food layout pretty like Chipotle. So I decided to order beef teriyaki, one of Japanese popular dish. The price was about average compared with other restaurants. Well, here come the bowl, it looked pretty promising. I took a first bite with a piece of beef, and split it right out, because it was not a beef. It is tasted like undercooked pork and it was very hard to chew. Well maybe I had bad piece, so second one, it was the same as the first one. The veggies were fine. The moment I tried the rice and come to conclusion, this is NOT a Japanese dish, because the rice was lose and undercooked. The cooker who added more teriyaki to the dish sauce than it should, causing the dish so salty. I ended up to toss the whole dish, because I couldn't eat it. Sorry, I tried to figure out what is other positive about the dish so that I can bump my review to 2 stars, but there is none.

BYO (large) with salmon, poke salmon, poke tuna, and lots of toppings. Skip the greens as a base but the rest is good!

Glad a poke place had finally made it to State Street! I had half greens and half brown rice with a build your own. Greens leave little to be desired, skip 'em unless you like iceberg lettuce. Price point is about right for a poke place, but maybe a little expensive considering other nearby options (~13 for a large, BYO). I had salmon, poke salmon, and poke tuna. Fish tasted fresh and toppings were plenty! I appreciated that they offered tobiko as well. Sauces were solid, I had poke sauce and spicy mayo, neither of which overpowered the bowl. It was a solid combo that was savory and so so so filling. Service was fast, seating is limited, so be prepared to take your meal on the go if many people are around. I'm excited to come back and eat more poke!

Poke is always a go to but this place was wayyyy too spicy. Got the yuzu and be warned it's unbearably hot. Tool the point where I couldn't keep eating. Portion sizes are a bit small for the price but lots of couches!

I'm so down for the explosion of poke places in Madison, Wisconsin. I was in Hawaii last summer and literally still dream about the abundance of fresh, buttery, flavorful poke that you could find there pretty much any place you went. I've not yet made it out to other poke places in Madison but if they're anything like Poke Plus, I'd say Madison is in pretty good poke hands. This location replaces the old Disco Fries restaurant, which I never entered but walked by every day and was not surprised to see go under because I hardly ever saw anyone in there. I think the location works much better as a poke place - it's a quick light lunch you can grab to go and the service is quick and efficient. The fish is fresh and the sauces are yummy - probably the only qualm is portions are a bit small for what you pay but it is poke so I'm happy to pay it. I also got their salmon teriyaki too go one day and it was very satisfying - a surprising amount of fish and very flavorful. Definitely will add Poke Plus into my rotation of "i'm on campus and want to have lunch but don't want to eat at the Union" places.

$16 for 3 ounces of fish a little bit of toppings and barely any sauce. If you want to get scammed, this is a place for you!

Every detail on the walls, in the décor, and throughout the space reflects the cultural richness and folklore of our country. It was, without question, an emotional experience filled with wonderful memories. Tasting a liver with onions that instantly took me back to the Colombian Caribbean was unforgettable. The lulo, passion fruit, and mango juices were spectacular. The garlic-flavored rice, the lentils cooked to perfection, and the grandmother-style salad... in short, the food was simply outstanding. The service provided by Emily (Ecuador), Juan (Bucaramanga) , and María José (Bogotá) was a perfect 10 out of 10. I don't regret for a second having driven all the way from Chicago to Milwaukee (3 hours) just to visit this restaurant. I would return one hundred times over; especially because here you can truly feel the flavor, the energy, and the heart of Colombia all in one place.

Our server was late, never checked up on us, and we got our food before our drinks. We had to request to get checked out because our server never came back. While paying, the person checking us out didn't say there was an 18% charge already included for tip until after we had clicked our selection to tip them. Place is cute, very spacious. Tl;dr, Service was not good, but food was decent.
