But the place was pretty clean. Their menu offered quite a bit of fresher and healthier options to eat and drink. They had juices, sandwiches, smoothies and more, things that would be the right choice to eat after a workout. Service was pretty good in my opinion. There was only one person working there at the time we went (not sure if he was the owner) but he was super kind and had great customer service skills. He was working hard and explaining to us in good detail about some of the stuff we didn't know about (example the Vitale Sauce). Surprisingly, food was pretty good. The fish was fresh and he packed the bowl pretty well. The fish had a really nice color to it so that was reassuring. We got two small bowls (around $13 per bow) and one medium bowl (Around $15 per bowl) and we did think price matched what we paid for. The worker was also very generous on the toppings. I do see myself coming back here. I think it's smart that it opened up right next to the gym. But they're really good poke and at the same time, some of their sandwiches and juices caught my eye, so I will definitely be back to try them again.

From the first time we ordered, I remember the seaweed and crab were on the lighter side, so I wish they had an option to add more online. I called to see if I could add extra, but ended up deciding not to, due to pricing differences. When I my order was delivered, they included it for me anyway, which I appreciated. Considering the higher price point of these specialty rolls, and past experience, I expected more of a "quality control" feature. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the manager, Julie, clearly acknowledged there was a problem with our order. However, the only response we received was a brief, "I'm sorry." While an apology is appreciated, it did little to address the inconvenience of waiting an extra 40 minutes for the food that wasn't even what we ordered. There was no meaningful effort to make things right, no explanation for the mistakes, other than "we are working on that internally" and no attempt to compensate for the poor experience. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant, but customer service is what separates a good establishment from a bad one. Based on the totality of circumstances from the delay of the food being ready when stated and then the order being incorrect, I had expected a bit more. Unfortunately, the lack of urgency and accountability shown by management, Julie, left a very negative impression. Between the excessive wait time, incorrect order, and inadequate response from management, this was not an experience I would recommend, and I will be hesitant to return, which is very unfortunate because we are frequent flyers and seeing quite a bit of new faces today makes me wonder if more is going on internally.
