Great Poke place in National city. I love the many options they have for toppings! The ambiance here is really welcoming and the staff is great. Only thing that is negative is the parking situation. However there's nothing that can be done about that.

I really wanted to love these omusubi because they looked fresh and the rice itself was good. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the amount of filling. It had just a tiny bit in the center, with almost all rice. I hope this was just an off day. I just wanted to share my experience in the hopes that the filling can be more consistent in the future.

I apparently ordered sriracha soup instead of a poke bowl. So gross.

I got this bowl to go and it is missing eel sauce and it's drenched in so much sricha sauce it's inedible. I'd never trust to go back here again. The rice is also underdone and funky. Pass.

    look at that drizzle....

I don't normally write reviews, but the girl who served me asked to. Shoutouts to Sheila. Workers are nice, place is clean, food is fresh. Had no problems, bad reviews must be some sort of off day.

Love the poke here! Good location, friendly service! The restaurant is always clean and organized. Prices have gone up over the years but that's true of most places! 2025(12)

Meets basic standards, I haven't been in a long time because I think prices have definitely gone up. However, I do appreciate blue poke every now and then. Getting the regular bowl, even sometimes a small bowl, will always make me full. I also appreciate that they sell spam masubis! They make them in the back so it's an additional wait after paying for them, but I thought they were pretty good! Both times I've went recently, it's been a clean dining environment and the staff are always nice and accommodating!

Quick service again! Was able to get in and out for my lunch. As part of the rewards I took advantage of the $1 off today. The employee did mention next week they will be doing orders on the kiosk so just an FYI.

The food is always fresh! We are always greeted when we walk in. The staff have great suggestions! I tried their spicy sauce and it was delicious!!! Definitely check it out!

The food quality is always amazing and I love coming back here. I will drive two hours to come to this specific Poké spot. The service is great in the ambience. It's always too.

Craving some poke after coming back for Hawaii service was excellent. Server Help me get my bowl together very clean. Enjoyed it very much Yum.

We used the self service to order and after 30 minutes we were wondering why it was taking such a long time when there wasn't many people in. Probably 3 of us. When my husband went to ask at first they couldn't the ticket and after throughly looking they found it. If my husband doesn't go ask, we could've been waiting forever. They didn't apologize, didn't offer anything such as a free drink, free bowl. This is unacceptable. They should've asked us if they see us sitting here waiting for our food and they probably noticed we hadn't received it. Moral of the story, skip the double points and order with them to avoid having them skip your order. Customer service should improve- offer a free dessert, drink, bowl, something.

Unfortunately it's over priced & mid :/ We spent over $70 and the ratio was so tiny for a poke burrito you're better off going somewhere else. It's nothing personal it's just not worth $20 lol

What is in the blue pokē sauce?

Hi. Our blue pokē sauce is our signature sauce that is a bit sweet, a tad tangy and mostly savory. Itss made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh squeezed lime juice, dashi and white pepper.

Are you still doing dine in?

Hi. We are currently only offering take out and delivery dining options at this time - in compliance with the current county regulations.

Do they marinade the fish in sauce or do they serve it on the side?

The bowls are built just the way you like it, so you can add the sauce to the fish or ask for it on the side. Our fish is not pre-marinated.

It seems that whenever I get called to Chula Vista, National City or Mira Mesa, there's always a lola waiting for me with a broken PC and a plate of pancit or a freshly-fried stack of turon. Years ago, knowing that those friendly, insistent ladies will offer to feed me, no matter the time of day, I started scheduling appointments to their houses at lunchtime, because, well, it's just bad manners to say "no, thanks, I already ate." On my own, I learned to love kare-kare and the popular Pinoy variants of pork. I still crave the Rellenong Alimango (stuffed crab) I had, years ago, at a Filipino food stall in Singapore. After the bars close, I'll often hunt down a plate of sisig. And I'll follow any such meal with something sweet, like hopia, halo-halo, or anything ube. But I'm also a big fan of Filipino breakfast, and that's where Zarlito's comes in. I've never eaten there after 10 am, and while I'm sure I'm missing a lot of good stuff, I've been happy with the breakfasts I've been served, not least because the ladies running the place are kind, always seeming tickled to see a large white man enthusiastically chomping through plates of their food. Any -silog will do the trick. Zarlito's always offers great food at a decent price. I'm glad the place is still around, and whenever I'm in the area, I try to stop in. You should, too.
