Finally stopped in here and I'm not sure why it took me so long - - Build Your Own Poke Bowl!!!!! Yes, please! This is an order at the counter (or kiosk) type of place with SO many yummy choices on the menu. And - - do I want to admit it?! - - I put a lot on mine. Started with a half and half base of white rice and mixed greens. And then added a bunch of delicious and fresh toppings, finishing it off with GF Spicy Mayo and GF Sweet Chili. YUMMY. The space isn't huge, only a few seats so this will be more of a takeout place for me. Service was helpful, friendly and efficient. Street parking around there isn't impossible. Definitely will be back. read more

I found this place on grubhub and it's really satisfying my poke bowl cravings. I love the 1/2 rice and half salad options. It's delicious with crispy onions and the crab salad. I'm also grateful they have switched to a compostable to-go container. Would love it even more if the lid becomes compostable! read more

Absolutely disappointing! I ordered 2 drinks both blended, It was grainy and chalky. I wanted to grab boba after visiting the food carts nearby but now I know I won't grab boba from there ever again. This place just isn't for me, maybe the workers didn't take their time on making the drinks, that could've been a reason for the chalky and graininess of it but I don't think I'll come back to give it a try again. I went a couple times in person and "built my own bowl" - extra scoops of tuna and salmon, cucumber only, NO sides (I hate that imitation krab stuff), and some unagi sauce. In person, came out ok. Tho the place smelled like long dead...somethings, but I figured they prolly also had fermented fish and whatnot. Now I don't think that's the case. I've ordered delivery now 3 times, *exact same order as originally*, and each time has been progressively worse. Some of the fish chunks smelled questionable as I brought them close to my face to eat, so I set them aside. They also slabbed on some of that imitation krab salad (which smells terrible to me fresh), to help hide that fact. Well today was the last straw, not only did they slam that nasty Krab salad on again, but put about an *entire* cucumber over a few measly pieces of fish to fill the space and make it look like the bowl was properly full. Now I'm paying $25 for a bowl for which was supposed to include FRESH (NOT questionable) tuna and salmon - paying a criminal price for multiple extra scoops of FRESH fish only - and what I received was maybe 10 of those little squares of fish, 35cents for almost an entire cucumber, and 20cents of rice. THAT is friggin criminal. I tried calling the store directly prior to posting this in hopes they wanted to make it right. I could literally hear them shrugging as they said they were sorry I didn't like it but there's "nothing they could [they meant *would*] do". read more

Sadly, I don't see this place lasting. The quality isn't there compared to nearby Let's Roll or SeaSweets Poke where we get our fix. The young kid knew very little about the ingredients, the interior leaves something to be desired. And this storefront has been a bad omen for retailers for decades. read more

This is one of my favorite poke places in NE Portland. For the value, you get a wide variety of options such as getting to choose multiple types of fish and toppings. I ordered pickup, but it was ready exactly on time and was still packaged nicely and available as I walked in. The space is pretty small, so I wouldn't plan on eating there anyway. Will definitely try other combinations from here. read more

Two of my favorite things under one roof: Poke & Boba!!! Couldn't get any better than that. I got one of each for myself (my husband doesn't care for either one) so while we were visiting Portland, why not! I did a 'make your own bowl' and chose my toppings and everything. Then, I chose Thai tea boba so my husband would at least drink some (I usually get taro). I loved both!! Prices are very reasonable. You have to order via iPad which can be a good thing but sometimes not-so-good. I like being able to say "just a little spicy mayo" or "just a little bit of onions" but you couldn't easily customize your order. I guess I could tell them my customizations but I think English might not be their main language so the iPad definitely makes things easier. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this place! read more

I got the Rainbow bowl. The fish looked and tasted like it had been sitting cut for a while, slimy. I asked for half rice, half salad. I literally got 5 leaves of salad. No flavor. The ginger was old, cucumber soggy. Not as close as the pictures. I got a Taro Milk Tea. The Bobba was hard as a rock and had a weird texture. I hope it's was just a bad hiccup on their service. I don't usually give bad reviews, but I hope they can improve their quality. read more

I have never left a review for a restaurant before, but felt compelled to give this place the feedback about my experience. I ordered a brown rice, spicy tuna and salmon poke bowl. My rice was HOT and half of it was hard and chewy... Raw fish should absolutely never be served over hot rice. If you are going to serve rice, make sure it is cooked, and not old/dry. It was missing the salmon, and the tuna that was in there tasted extremely fishy. I get that places are doing their best during covid, and I hate to complain, but this was absolutely terrible. My husband and I came here the other the day for the first time. We were going to go to the food trucks for a poke bowl but decided to try this place out. This is my first ever negative review on a food business. First.. we hated the fact that you had to order on a XL tablet (there is no connection with the staff at all), second the food can't be seen so you have no idea if it's fresh, third... it didn't taste fresh and was very boring. I got the rainbow bowl and my husband got the volcano roll. Fourth, we had to use the chairs for the business next door, they have no outside seating and inside the restaurant smells bad and is super musty/hot so we did not want to eat inside. And the last and final straw that had made us decide to never go there again... I'm currently in bed with food poisoning for the very first time in my life after eating that poke bowl on Monday (started throwing up Tuesday night) and today is Wednesday morning. Honestly, I have to echo all the other 1-2 star reviews here. Unfortunately, the poke bowl here just wasn't good. The rice to fish ratio was very off -- there was way too much rice for the amount of fish we got. The fish also didn't taste very fresh. It didn't help that the serving counter was covered behind frosted glass so you couldn't see the actual ingredients. We also added spicy mayo as our sauce and didn't get much of that either. I moved recently from SE to NE and I thought I try this location as goto place for Poke. The food was quite disappointing to what I was used to from SeaSweet in SE. The flavors were bland and the toppings seemed to include some corn and pineapple out of the can and some raw onion rather than crispy onions. (Might not have been the case, but that is how if felt and tasted like) I was also surprised that I was not able to see the food as the poke bowl was filled up. There is some value on a buffet like ordering process to see the components available. read more
