I always come here for poke bowls! It never disappoints. It's not traditional Hawaiian style, but it's the best I've had in Portland. I highly recommend the spicy salmon don. Very fresh and flavorful. They also fill up on toppings & I always add crab salad bc they don't charge extra for it.

Went to the fresh fish poke in the foot truck pod. Quick and easy and pretty good. I would get again.

This food pod area is so clean, modern and food was quick and delicious. I had only had poke one time before - but you can order with greens or rice base and add your protein, choice of sauce (I had my poke in Hawaii so I chose that) and then as many veges as you want! I had green onions, edamame, corn...fish was very fresh. Absolutely yummy.

We were visiting in the area and heard about the food cart pod! Made our way over, and the first thing I saw was FreshFish Poke. I got the build your bowl, which was $15 for a regular, and it was pretty big! I got the white rice, ahi tuna, red onion, green onion, crab salad, crispy garlic, and crispy onion (if you can't tell, I love onions lol). It tasted very fresh and was really good! I debated between the house poke sauce and the classic hawaiian. The guy let me try the house sauce because he said it was a little spicy, and since we were from out of town, I decided to do as the Romans do and got the house sauce. It was good and not really that spicy! It had a flavor that reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite place it. Service was very friendly, and he was very patient while I decided between the sauces. Lots of food for a good price, I definitely recommend!

HOLY SHIT! We love this place! We got the Spicy Salmon and World Class! It's fresh and the flavors are amazing. Also, for $17 for a large bowl! You can't beat it. The owner was so sweet and kind, he was genuinely just happy to be feeding us! 5/5! Coming back to bring my parents here!

One of the happier things in life is finding good poke spots in town and this one was one of the best that I've tried! Eating their build your own bowl was such a bliss. I got the atlantic salmon, tuna, and spicy tuna with most of the toppings. All very fresh ingredients from the fish to the toppings: crispy cucumber, tender avocados, delicious crab and seaweed salad, sweet sweetcorns, and crunchy fried garlic and shallots. Every bite was unique and fun. The Red Miso Sauce was super flavorful without being overpowering, tying the bowl together. I especially loved the hint of ginger and well-balanced spices in the sauce. Coming in at a 32oz bowl for the large size, their portion is HEFTY to say the least. My bowl was, in every sense of the words, packed to the brim with deliciousness. This might be the first poke bowl I couldn't finish in one go! Not that it wasn't tasty, clearly, but boy they're generous. Crazy to think that this meticulously put together beauty of a bowl came from a food truck, but maybe it's not. So much love and attention was put into their food. What a great find, couldn't be happier I check them out and so should you!

Price: $16 (32oz) for a personalized bowl In my bowl I got half rice/half salad topped with salmon mixed in spicy creamy habanero sauce for takeout. The chunks of poke were fairly sized and the sauce was not spicy at all for being the spiciest option. For toppings I chose cucumber, red onion, masago, seaweed salad, crab salad, etc., since it was unlimited toppings. The poke (salmon) itself tasted average and slightly fishy however the portion sizes were amazing and customer service was spectacular. The toppings made the dish imo

    Deliciousness.

I freaking love this place. Good portions of fish, great selection of unlimited toppings. Get the green machine sauce!

This is going to be my go-to poke spot in SE Portland. I did the build your own poke bowl with white rice, salmon, house poke sauce, and a ton if toppings (unlimited). I also got the large size and after tipping paid ~$16. I thought that was kind if pricey BUT the poke bowl is HUGE. The biggest poke bowl I have ever had and the salmon was good. I just got out of the gym and can usually eat a good amount but I might settle for the regular size next time. The large size are for those who are extra hungry 5/5, definitely coming back and would recommend if you're looking to get some good poke in town.

It was missing something, on top of being so overpriced. I've been here more than once to give them a fair review. I also tried following the google hours (which is the same hours posted on their door) just to get there and they said they were closed. There were many good options, a little pricey for frozen fish. I met the owner. Reminded me of an uncle back home. While the poke wasn't bad, it was clearly made to appeal to the Oregonians. I grew up with simple poke, just enough sauce for flavor and just enough seasoning for taste. I got a poke plate and I normally just put enough sauce to coat my food, I ended up receiving a heavily sauced container of fish. I got a few musubis and Hawaii snacks. For a poke plate, 2 musubis, and Hawaiian sun almost $35, I almost joked out loud and said wow must have Gold in my bag. I would come here again, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way for poke in Portland, there are so many other options.

Menu: There are pre-designed signature bowls and there's a build your own bowl option that's starts at $16. I opted for building my own bowl: brown rice, the included sides of imitation krab, cucumbers, seaweed salad, corn, crispy onions, and went with salmon shoyu poke. Absolutely delicious, salmon was so tender and marinated with just the right amount of sauce. 9/10! I find the canned yellow corn a little odd (not something you typically see in Hawaii poke bowls), but it works and I didn't mind the extra color/crunch. Portion size was great for there being one size. The interior of the space is a nice corner location off Hoyt and NW 11th, so lots of bright natural light, cute but simple decor with wood slats decorated along their white walls and cute plants tucked into the corners. Service was quick and presentation of the bowl was great. I'm really excited about this spot, my new favorite lunch spot when at work. Will spread word to my coworkers of course! Hope All Blue sticks around for a while!

The seafood/fish selection is fine, they have salmon, tuna, cooked shrimp, tofu and smoked squid. The toppings are a good amount as well as a decent selection of mix-in. There seems to be a few random add-ons to the mix-in process $ wise. The fish is cut rather large for poke - 2/3 bite vs the one bite. Sauces are custom added so the poke isn't already mixed in. Twice, I've been here. Once to try it out, the second time to remember if I ate here before or not lol. Here's a bit about this Joy Pokè location. The place is small, but clean for the most part. You start by selecting from the menu board up above. Pick the size bowl you'd like; Small, medium, large. Plus a base; White or brown rice, salad, or half-n-half. Then select the little sides like crabmeat and avocado or seaweed salad (there's more options). Third, you pick the type of fish you want for your protein. More veggie extras, add sauces like ponzu or shoyu or spicy chili. Then you complete it with toppings of your choice as well; Corn, roasted garlic, onion, furikake, etc. My bowl was prepared by the same guy as the first time, who's probably the manager or owner. Who seemed polite, but didn't say much to help with the selections. No big deal regarding services. I ordered a Large Bowl for $19.99 and added a $3 tip. The container felt a bit heavy, but it also felt like a medium bowl for the price. It was that, two large scoops of rice, but you felt a bit shafted with the amount of poke given to compensate for the amount of rice. Suggestion: Add all the extras and toppings I guess. The taste was decent, but wasn't enough to make me wanna come back any time soon. It's worth a try if you haven't been here.
