    Miso Wasabi Ahi Poke Bowl
    Matthew B.

We ordered the food to be delivered so I'm unable to speak to the decor or friendliness of the staff. We ordered the Miso Wasabi Ahi Poke Bowl (both regular and large), Truffle Salmon Poke Bowl and Shoyu Ahi Poke Bowl. This was good. The fish tasted fresh, the base and sides were plentiful and also good. I also appreciated the ability to choose your own adventure in what you wanted and not a predetermined meal.

I really enjoyed seasweets. Huge portions and very reasonable prices. A regular bowl was around 15$. Compared to other poke places and the portions they give that's a great deal. The toppings were all amazing. Very flavorful. I loved the cabbage slaw and crunchy onions they had. Fish is fresh and tasted high quality. I would recommend coming here. Employees were very friendly and there's a good amount of indoor seating.

    Regular Salmon Poke Bowl

Yummy! I love Sea Sweets! Good quality, fresh tasting fish and fresh toppings. Nice selection to choose from. I like the salmon with the thin jalapeño slices, has a nice kick to it. My favorite sides are the crab salad, seaweed salad, kimchi corn and the cabbage. Can't go wrong with any of them. Always have quick and friendly service. Couldn't recommend more!

Grabbed a couple poke bowls before heading to the airport. Both with the shoyu ahi. The regular sized bowls were really filling. The service and quality of the food was good.

Great little spot for some really good poke! A regular size is plenty for one person and you'll probably have some leftover. The ladies working there were super helpful with recommendation during my first visit. I got a base with half kale salad and half rice and went on to get both types of salmon for my base- which were amazing by the way. I proceeded to add all the toppings and created the yummiest bowl! Note: their chili oil packs a punch so tread lightly!

Spicy Albacore with Miso Wasabi Ahi Poke Bowl, Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl

SeaSweets Poke isn't just another restaurant - it's a fully customizable assembly line ready for you to make your perfect poke bowl. There is always upbeat and popular music playing in the background, and the people working are always happy to help you! The protein selection is amazing- from ahi tuna that practically melts on your tongue to perfectly spicy tuna. My Perfect Poke Bowl; Regular size with white rice, spicy tuna, lemon pepper krab salad (almost better than the poke itself), edamame, furikake, fried onions, seaweed, and miso sesame sauce. Price point? Totally reasonable for the quality. You're looking at about $14-18 for a bowl that'll keep you full and happy!! Seasweets is my #1 go to for lunches. Every single time I can get something different, and no matter what I will walk away happy.

    Large Poke Bowl

I had a great experience getting lunch at SeaSweets Poke. I got a large bowl with a base of kale and brown rice, and a scoop of ahi and a scoop of salmon. I'll be completely honest, at first I was disappointed with how many scoops I'd get for the price. But once I was actually eating it, I realized that it was a good portion. I had fish in every bite. The ingredients work really well together and it tastes fresh. Everyone working there is very nice. There's lots of seating and big windows. They also have a reward program where you can earn points towards your next meal! There's lots of reward tiers like free sides, drinks, or entire bowls. Will definitely be coming back, thank you!

Our poke bowl was fresh & all topping and sauce were amazing, reminds me of being in Hawaii. Their coconut Thai milk tea is the best! Must order this. Customer service was great too, the girls at the counter were very helpful.

Dishes can be shared here, and our server suggested a few specialties for us to try. They also have a tasting menu but we opted for picking our own. We started with grilled oysters that were topped with kimchi butter and garlic. It was incredibly flavorful and perfectly grilled. We had the Little Gems salad, which was refreshing with the greens, radish, and green goddess sauce. The hamachi crudo is their specialty. The raw fish came with grilled pineapple and a bold and pungent fish sauce that meshed all the ingredients together cohesively for one sweet and savory dish! Absolutely recommend it! The lobster roll was absolutely delicious with bread that holds the flavors together. Cooked well and no notes here! The start of the evening was absolutely the cedar plank whole branzino. Wow, I have never been more impressed with a fish. Perfectly cooked with juicy, smoked flavors. 12/10 recommend! For dessert, we ordered an earl grey tea ice cream with blackberry, and peach sorbet. Both refreshing!

We came here because I heard they have a great seafood menu and my kids recently started enjoying oysters and other shellfish that used to be "gross". We got here about 15 minutes to opening on a Friday night and there was already a line. We were fortunate to still get a spot outside which worked out because it wasn't too hot and the outdoor space is much more spread out than inside. We ordered a dozen oysters to start. Love their various droppers with infused mignottes and hot sauces. Really made it fun to try out different combos. We also got the cold smoked mussels, the hamachi crudo, grilled oysters, lobster roll, rockfish, and the little gem salad. In order of least favorite to favorite, the little gem salad was good but just not that memorable or spetqcular the way the other dishes were. Next, the grilled oysters were flavorful with the garlic and lime but I wished there was a little more kimchi flavor and overall more sauce given the size of the oysters (they were huge!). The lobster roll was good and I appreciated the different take on a lobster roll but my favorite lobster rolls that really accentuate the lobster flavor and this masked it a little. The hamachi crudo was a surprise. It's a dish you see a lot and I was a little worried about how the pineapple might overtake the rest of the flavors but that didn't happen. The balance between sweet, savory, sour, and crunch from the peanuts was perfect and every bite was really enjoyable. Finally, my favorite was the cold smoked mussels. You never know how fish sauce and tom kha might overwhelm everything but again, their chef understands flavor balance really well. You could taste all the flavors, the smokiness, the slight bitter and sour umami flavors and slight sweetness to round it out. It was outstanding and highly recommend. They also have great cocktails that go well with their dishes. Really enjoyed the experience here and will definitely come back.

If you are coming on a weekend you probably want to try to grab a reservation, but both times I've popped up, I've had no trouble getting seated. The server was very friendly and had plenty of recommendations. They have both cocktails and NA drinks. The cocktails are fancy and not your average, though they lean toward mainly tequila and mezcal. They also have classic cocktails available if you aren't feeling adventurous. The desserts are really fun - full of different flavors and textures. We wanted to try everything, but settled on the Toxica and Para Mi Papa. The Toxica was basically guava passion fruit sorbet, but the smear of house made strawberry chamoy gave it a fun kick and the cornflake crunch was the texture it needed. We both really enjoyed it. My favorite was the Para Mi Papa, a delicious take on carrot cake. The orange cream cheese frosting had me questioning why all carrot cake doesn't come with orange cream cheese frosting. The miso spiced ice cream gave it a little salty note that just made the whole thing sing. I was sad to be sharing this one. Definitely a great spot to stop in with some friends or after dinner.

I am non alcoholic but Grandma really loved theirs, mezcal I believe but I may be incorrect! It is LOUD outside on the patio, because duh, you're right on the busy street. If you live here, you're quite used to that! Quieter inside, the music is loud enough to confidently have a conversation without lowering your voice too much, but not so loud that you can't hear your friends. Waitstaff is pleasant, accommodating, and compassionate! It feels and smells clean inside, and my experience in back of house food let me perceive that the dishes had been freshly cleaned and steamed dry; they just had that feeling on the fingertips. (I wish the cleanliness of dishes wasn't a highlight in Portland but here we are.) Also the water didn't taste like fish OR rocks! What a win!!! For two people we paid $150 with tip, and that was without desserts and coffee. Things of note from a Friday night summer visit to this place that's been there four years now: High-end presentation. The plating is top level and each thing they place in front of you is like a sculpture or work of art. Nice energy, not at all too loud. They have acoustic tiles on the ceiling and on the concrete floor added a runner that echos the curve of the large bar, which helps. Portion size looked nice and generous from examples of things we saw being brought to tables, such as the salad and focaccia. Best appetizers were fried cauliflower and the asparagus dish w/ the eggs (which would be even better if warm). The one fish entree is the sablefish (ours was underseasoned) that's brought out on thin piece of cedar with edges still slightly charred. It comes with nothing else on the plate so plan accordingly. Just inside the door they have a little snack/pantry curated market of sorts, where you can linger while waiting for seating and can buy things like a cute little bottle of honey for $20 or a colorful crocheted wall hanging basket for $70. Lots of good natural light because of the walls of floor to ceiling windows. Option of ample seating indoors and outdoors because it's a corner location. Cautionary note: We saw and heard a lunatic in hoodie who, at 6pm on a Friday night, walked up to one of the unoccupied outdoor tables and flipped it over, causing the plates and glasses to fly in the air and shattered, landing in shards next to the elderly couple at the next table who jumped up, her understandably in shock and tears. The leek salad was beautifully dressed and came with the most perfect gooey eggs. But the star of the show was the beans; incredibly tender and in the most amazing southern-style collard greens sauce. Everything was so fresh and different! The meal was simply spectacular! We were genuinely excited and looking forward to a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short, especially given the price point and strong Yelp rating. The oxtail croquettes arrived cold, which was surprising for a fried item and set a disappointing tone early. The biggest issue was the hamachi crudo. It had a strong fishy smell with clear hints of ammonia and tasted far from fresh, bordering on spoiled. There was a lingering aftertaste that unfortunately affected everyone's palate for the rest of the meal. We sent it back due to quality concerns. My family and I grew up eating liver and mousse from our own family recipes and from many different culinary traditions. The chicken liver mousse here was creamy in texture but lacked depth and subtle sweetness, and tasted overly mineralized. It was the first chicken liver mousse I have ever not finished. The crab beignets were acceptable, though they could have used more crab. The accompanying sauce was well executed. The miso deviled eggs were tasty, and the anchovy add-on worked nicely. The Parisienne gnocchi, at $40, was not memorable and leaned heavily salty. Steak frites were standard, a dish that is generally hard to fumble. Unfortunately drinks. The shift in service after we sent back the hamachi was obviously uncomfortable and noticeable. The energy dramatically changed. There was little interest in engaging with our feedback. For a meal that totaled over $200, we left disappointed and still hungry. Portland offers many stronger dining options at this price point that deliver both quality and hospitality. Disappointing feels like an understatement. I am genuinely puzzled by the high rating based on the food quality and service we experienced.
