    Galaxy mango flavored Boba tea
    Mark E.

A nice surprise for a restaurant at a mall. Many items to choose from. They have seating that is specifically for the restaurant. I tried the beef ramen bowl and a Galaxy series mango Boba tea. Very tasty ramen and excellent tasting Boba tea. Friendly service and good prices

This restaurant is located near the food court of Ingram mall. I wanted a nice lunch so I opted to go to a restaurant that I haven't tried before. The girls at the counter were nice and very helpful and I appreciate the service. I ordered the beef ramen and the strawberry and mango ice blend (basically a smoothie). While the ramen broth itself had good flavor, the beef and noodles were lacking. The noodles stayed clumped together and the beef was tough and had no seasoning at all. The ice blend was tasty and refreshing. Next time, I'll just stick to ordering the poke.

    Salmon classic bowl

Had order to go, and everything was ready to go fairly quickly. I had the salmon classic bowl, which was alright. Would have liked it better without the onions I think. The onigiri was so cute and small, so I really wanted to try them. It had tuna inside it, which wasn't bad and easy to hold. The plastic wrap around it was easy to take off too. The coconut milk tea was delicious and perfectly sweet for me. I would absolutely get this again. I also tried Taro and Hokkaido milk ice blend and love the colors. It tasted alright, not really my preference. Would be willing to come back and try other flavors for sure.

The poke bowl was delicious. I ordered the regular size Unagi Poke Bowl which comes with your choice of white or brown rice, eel, avocado, cucumber, carrots, edamame, and is topped with eel sauce. The ingredients were fresh and flavor was spot on. The dining area is very nicely decorated and looked clean. Location is great, right at the food court door to the mall. If you park near this door it is immediately inside to your left. However, I give this place 4 stars because of the customer service. When I walked up the lady was on her phone and I was not greeted. On top of that, when my husband and I would ask her questions she seemed annoyed and gave an attitude like she wasn't happy to be working.

Passion fruit & guava ice blended. Super tasty and perfect for summer!

Pleasantly surprised by the bubble tea! Saw this place opened in Ingram Mall, which I normally never visit (not my favorite mall...). I may be coming to this area more often now though! So far, I have tried their jasmine milk tea, earl grey mt, passion fruit guava ice blended, and the SA dirt mt. Everything has been delicious! They veer toward the extra sweet side for milk tea, so I would order it with less sugar if that is your preference. If you are not into milk tea, the passion fruit guava is sooo good and a perfect summer drink! They have a variety of toppings for their bubble tea. I like their honey boba (although it can be a little too soft sometimes) and their crystal boba. Be aware that the aloe jelly is not the sweet kind that some places have, but more of a pure bitter/alcohol taste. The pricing is fair for the area, and the drinks are pretty large. It is nice having another boba tea option in San Antonio!

    Taro Milk Tea

I only had the bubble tea, and it was great! I was craving bubble tea for a while, and this hit the spot. Since moving to San Antonio and living on the south side, there's absolutely zero bubble tea options (besides Kung Fu Tea but I hate Kung Fu Tea). That means, I haven't had a decent one in months. So when I passed by Poke Yi and saw their bubble tea menu, I couldn't help but getting a large Taro milk tea, and it didn't disappoint! The boba was soft and juicy, and the drink wasn't too sweet. It's far from my house but definitely worth the commute.

Tonkutsu Ramen Pork Belly and Build Your Own Poke Burrito with 3 Proteins

Happy to have this place in the Ingram Mall to add variety to their food court! This place offers poke bowls, sushi burritos, ramen, and boba teas. Tried the ramen and sushi burrito today and it was delicious. With lots to offer and good tastes, I think this place packs a big punch! The price easily increases with add-ons though FYI. We were greeted right away at the counter by a friendly, soft-spoken staff member. I ordered a sushi burrito with Salmon, Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Cucumber, Edamame, Sweet Egg, Seaweed Salad, Furikake flakes, and their house sauce. My fiancé got a bowl of Pork Belly Tonkatsu ramen. They were both delicious! The Sushi Burrito was filled to the edge and was fresh. The seaweed wrap was still crispy by the time they made it to when I enjoyed it! Their ramen was also quite impressive as the portion was quite big for the price. The broth was subtle and smooth. The toppings, such as the egg and the pork belly, was good too. Two solid picks to satisfy your Japanese cravings inside the mall. The spot is decently priced, only worth noting when you're adding add-one's to the sushi burrito or poke bowl as they get kinda pricey. I'd def come back again, especially to try out the boba teas as it seems to be a hit with this place!

Loved the place. I had a California roll sushi burrito & my dad had the spicy tuna, chicken, and other stuff added to his burrito. So so so good! I ate my burrito a few hours later and still so fresh and bomb. The pork belly (there are other meat options) ramen bowl was firrre. Everything was perfect! Thinking about going back to them right now (had it yesterday) as I write this review lol

    Seating area! Wonderful atmosphere.

Fantastic! You g lady working the line was great to explain ordering system. Limited seating. COVID proticaols, and super clean! I'd give them 10 stars if possible. Highly recommend.

My newwww favorite bubble tea place.. great service and awesome staff.. I come here once a week. And they already know what I'm going to order which I love.. taro hakaido smoothie with tapioca and crystal boba.. omg writing this is making me wanna go get some. They also serve poke and sushi that you can customized. You have to try this place when you are at Ingram mall. Just inside the food court..

Taro Hokkaido Ice blended milk tea
    Abigail D.

Taro Hokkaido Ice blended drink is really good, but for price of $5.25 I expected it comes with at least a boba. You have to pay extra 0.50 cents for additional items (toppings/sinker) in it. Not quite sure and I did not ask either if all their beverages are like that. Not sure if I will go back to them again or stick to Tealicious cafe since they're beverage has the sinkers or some sort included in it Poke bowl price is good competitive nothing to rave about it since HEB has same quality and amount....IMO

    Mango Strawberry Blended with boba.
    Melody M.

Came after a recommendation from a friend and I really wanted this to be 10/10 boba. My boba was too chewy and my drink was too floral (even though it was mango strawberry). I came around 7:45 pm on Monday...I am going to give them a second chance maybe come earlier in the day?

After Tuesday visit, the rating remains on 5, but only because we had an amazing time on Sunday. Maybe on Tuesday there was a different chef, but food just didn't taste the same, and a few Sunday dishes we asked for on Tuesday (standard menu) were sold out. Both times I had rice lager specially brewed for the restaurant, and it was delicious. An absolute highlight on Sunday was the dish called Hand of God - the smoky wagyu on top of the rice cake was just an absolute perfection, not anything I had before (this dish was not available on Tuesday). We also had similarly smoky vegetable roll which was also experience in itself. This was my first time at the sushi restaurant where waiter suggested that the nigiri pieces are perfectly ready to eat, require no extra soy sauce or wasabi, and should be picked up by hand instead of chopsticks - another wonderful experience. I also had few different nigiri piece, two different types of mackerel and uni - an absolute wow (on Sunday). Service was good both days, but still a little bit better on Sunday (better recommendations). Definitely recommended.

They have a garage attached and you can get it validated with the staff but it's kind of a complicated process for the amount of people coming per night for the restaurant. I would highly recommend making a reservation because every single table had a reserve sign on it. I got to try the gyozas, hamachi, shrimp tempura roll (not on happy hour menu), and various other rolls off the happy hour menu. My favorite was the gyozas and the hamachi. The gyozas had a nice sauce and it wasn't overly sweet. The hamachi tasted fresh and had good flavors. The rolls were not my favorite because they were very wet and not a lot of actual fish. My friend tried the fried fish dish and didn't enjoy it and he never complains about food. Service was odd too; they tried to act as if it was a bougie restaurant but the service didn't quite measure up. I felt a little rushed and our server wasn't really friendly. Interior is nice though.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.

I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.
