We were excited to go in and try this as it smelled good, appeared fast and efficient but truth of the matter it wasn't all that we expected. While the portion sizes are HUGE, it was the flavor that was lacking. Pricing is a little much and there is no alcohol served here. The beef just didn't taste like real beef to me. I ordered the bento box which came with giant servings of (your choice of) fried rice (or soba noodles), a giant salad, 2 eggrolls, 2 fried gyoza and four pieces of sushi roll. You pick your choice of protein. Hubs had the beef teriyaki, and friend had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki with soba noodles. He also ordered a sushi roll with tempura fried shrimp. The pieces were very large. We each had a bubble tea and hubs a regular tea. Before tax and tip for 3 is was mid $80's. Thankfully we received a military discount but even so this dinner for three was over $75. It just seems like a lot of money for this type of restaurant. While we are appreciative of the military discount, we still feel as if the pricing is a little exorbitant. The tastiest item in my opinion was the soba noodles. The fried rice just was plain and lacking. I stated earlier the beef just didn't taste like beef. The fried goyza was dry and crispy. I personally like my goyza steamed. The eggrolls were ok. The sweet dipping sauce helped. The yum yum sauce wasn't very yummy and in fact was quite plain tasting. The boba teas were VERY GOOD and flavorful. Now that we know the food portions; we can definitely share a meal next time. read more

I liked it! Great staff, very helpful. It's a walk up and order in the style of fast food restaurants, but the food is made as you order and delicious. The menu is interesting, limiting in some ways unlike most Asian food restaurants, but it was easy to find something to try. I had the chicken fried rice and wow! The ambiance is nice, not fancy just comfortable. I will say that the walk up and order can be a little slow. I watched as people were walking in and the order line was at times a wait. Gaza was just the right consistency and flavor. California roll was good. The side ginger salad was ok. The ginger dressing wasn't flavorful as expected. I went to the newly opened location on 151 and it was my first time ever trying Mr Teriyaki. When you order to-go you'll get a vibrating disc that notifies you when your food is ready. The wait for my combination fried rice was longer than anticipated but it was okay because it was a Saturday night. The restaurant size was pretty decent, not too big or too narrow; it also had a side outdoor patio space if you prefer outdoor seating. The associate that took my order could've been more pleasant, upbeat, friendly as I was so lost trying to figure out what I wanted. I didn't even know she was talking to me because she wasn't looking at me when asking me what I wanted. I was just handed the vibrating disc luckily I was familiar with that device so I knew what it was for. I would've preferred "is this your first time?" "Here's my favorite menu item" or a smile at least! For a new location that recently opened this was my expectation. I was pretty impressed with my food. The food container is a thicker plastic container which is great. Your food is cooked to order so I was able to get home and still had a nice hot meal without reheating in the microwave. I like that there's no peas in the fried rice only green onions, beans sprouts and eggs--I think. I'm not sure about other menu options but I am definitely going to order other menu items. OMG!! This place is so delicious!!! I have eaten there multiple times and also gotten food to go and let me tell you that it is one of the few places where the serving sizes are the same! The bento boxes are an excellent deal! The salad that it comes with has a ginger dressing that is good. But the veggies are my favorite so I substitute the salad for them. I love that you get sushi, potstickers, and egg rolls with this dish! Don't forget to pick up the sauce that is packaged on the side to dip. The beef and shrimp are super flavorful! When we ordered the noodles with the chicken teriyaki I did feel like the sauce of the noodles mixed with the sauce of the chicken made the dish too salty. I am a bit sensitive to over salting. So if you like salt, that combo is for you. For me it was a bit too much. This is in my regular rotation and I'll be back again! read more

Besides the meat, you get some lettuce salad containing carrots and broccoli (I believe steamed veggies is an alternative to salad), dumplings, California roll, rice (white or fried), egg rolls. Be prepared to take some food home. The front of house staff is great: personable and helpful. At the ready to take your order. We were there at 1:30pm and folks were still coming in. The place has plenty of seating. Near the entrance are two counters with high stools. In the main space are metal tables with metal chairs. My only complaint is that they are not the most comfortable. But they serve their purpose. Go there. read more

We spent the afternoon at the mall and wanted something good to eat that wasn't junk food or too expensive. This was half a mile away so we decided to pay them a visit. The location is easy to find and is a big open space. Plenty of parking out front and more in the back. We go inside and there's one family waiting to order. The cashier was busy counting money and took a while. That was annoying because we had limited time to eat. She didn't look up to say anything to us which is why they don't get 5 stars. She was also wearing a heavy fuzzy coat pouring salad dressing over the food as it came out. If she's handling food she shouldn't be wearing a fuzzy coat but made sure to point out the tip section before I finished paying. We finally order and the food takes a while to make. The place had just a few customers so I didn't think it would take too long but it did. It was all fresh which makes it forgivable. We ordered two meat bento boxes. Everything was delicious. The lettuce was crispy and fried food was crunchy. They had several sauces available and the good disposable chopsticks. I was happy to see the comfy cushioned seating because my back was hurting after all that walking at the mall. We will probably come back again but with more time to burn. Great service, very clean inside and nice spacious seating. I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken and the Bento Box. The beef could have been a little more cooked to avoid the thick chewy bites but the egg rolls are amazing! Love them every time. I also really enjoy the teas and the sushi is decent for the price. A hidden gem and an amazing find. Was looking for authentic Taiwanese food in the area and stumbled upon this on Google/Yelp. Located in the plaza on San Pedro crossing Oblate Drive, it is relatively visible from the street driving there. Parking is usually a breeze since they have a long row of parking spots right in front of the restaurant, shared with other shops in the plaza. Was able to find a spot in the late noon time frame (13:45) Though you may have to walk a bit when during busy hours. Ordered the Beef Shrimp Bento Box, Popcorn Chicken, Pot Stickers (Fried Gyoza), and Passion Green Tea. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Especially the popcorn chicken. It feels like they even use the paper bags on the night markets in Taiwan. Crispy on the outside and juicy chicken on the inside with plenty of basal leaves. Bento box even includes 4 pieces of sushi on addition to a small salad plus fried rice (or steamed rice), definitely not only flavorful but also fills you up well. The Passion Green is extremely refreshing and well made. Wow. The interior decor is modern with a touch of art, loving the open concept as well as extremely well lit floor due to tall window glasses. Can be a bit noisy but definitely sounds popping. To my surprise, quite of few of the staff spoke Mandarin/Taiwanese and of course, the owner is also Taiwanese. They are also military friendly! Any active duty will receive a discount. Loving it (really don't like to say but most Asian stores do not offer military discount); they caught my heart on that one. No need to build suspense, this place was delicious. I went for lunch today and there was a line, as well as most tables inside were taken, but I see why. Things moved at a reasonable pace though so it didn't feel as long as it appeared it would take. Parking lot looks like spaces will always be at a premium. I ordered a combination teriyaki plate and a caramel milk tea. Also was undecided between the popcorn chicken and the ninja chicken but went with the ninja. If you've seen the photos it comes in a ball but they will cut it. The food was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious and the teriyaki sauce was good. One complaint I will give is the beef is really chewy. So much so I went ahead and finished that first and left the shrimp and chicken to eat least. When I go back it will definitely be shrimp and chicken only. My jaw was tired from chewing lol the ninja chicken was fine. A little over fried in places. You can get it spicy as well but I tried mild. The caramel milk tea was amazing. Just the right amount of sweet. I can't recommend giving this place a try enough. Very good food. Very nice portions.
