First time trying this place my sisters recommended it to me so I stopped by with my mom and my kids. They cook everything right in front of you. Smells amazing when you walk in, and the employees are very nice and welcoming! I wasn't sure what to get but the gentleman in the front counter helped me out. Food tastes great drinks are refreshing can't wait to come back again.

1st Time here & Definitely won't be My Last. Freshly made to order Teriyaki Combo with Tasty Pork,Shrimp & Chicken plus veggies. Absolutely Delicious Pineapple Smoothie What a burst of flavor & explosion within my happy mouth. Fresh Crispy egg roll What a Glorious experience and as I came, so many came after me. The place was packed when I left with a steady flow traffic.

Wow. Simply amazing. This place is a home run. Order the bento box. It's a little bit of everything and will fill up the hardiest eater. I absolutely love this place and enjoyed it all.

OMG!! This place is so delicious!!! I have eaten there multiple times and also gotten food to go and let me tell you that it is one of the few places where the serving sizes are the same! The bento boxes are an excellent deal! The salad that it comes with has a ginger dressing that is good. But the veggies are my favorite so I substitute the salad for them. I love that you get sushi, potstickers, and egg rolls with this dish! Don't forget to pick up the sauce that is packaged on the side to dip. The beef and shrimp are super flavorful! When we ordered the noodles with the chicken teriyaki I did feel like the sauce of the noodles mixed with the sauce of the chicken made the dish too salty. I am a bit sensitive to over salting. So if you like salt, that combo is for you. For me it was a bit too much. This is in my regular rotation and I'll be back again!

We had seen @mr.teriyakitx featured on Texas Eats before, and we knew we had to check it out. We visited today for lunch. Many had the same idea. You order at the counter and get a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. I ordered Dad the Mango Coconut Sago Shake, I had the Strawberry Fresh Milk, and Hubby had the Mango Green Tea. Mine was like a dessert! Dad and I shared the Combination (chicken, beef, shrimp) Bento Box with fried rice. Generous amount of food: 2 gyozas, 2 egg rolls, 4 pieces of sushi, salad then the main dish. The beef was a bit chewy, but the chicken and shrimp were great. Hubby had the Chicken & Beef Fried Rice. Would definitely come back, but I would stick with the chicken and shrimp.

14 Mar 2024 Went with our niece on her recommendation. I thought the name was a bit hokey, but... The food was quite good. The three of us ordered the bento box, two with chicken, one with beef. Besides the meat, you get some lettuce salad containing carrots and broccoli (I believe steamed veggies is an alternative to salad), dumplings, California roll, rice (white or fried), egg rolls. Be prepared to take some food home. The front of house staff is great: personable and helpful. At the ready to take your order. We were there at 1:30pm and folks were still coming in. The place has plenty of seating. Near the entrance are two counters with high stools. In the main space are metal tables with metal chairs. My only complaint is that they are not the most comfortable. But they serve their purpose. Go there.

Delicious food! My order was ready fast and ordering was really easy. I also like that you can customize your tea. This place is great for lunch when you want to sit down but want your food fast.

We spent the afternoon at the mall and wanted something good to eat that wasn't junk food or too expensive. This was half a mile away so we decided to pay them a visit. The location is easy to find and is a big open space. Plenty of parking out front and more in the back. We go inside and there's one family waiting to order. The cashier was busy counting money and took a while. That was annoying because we had limited time to eat. She didn't look up to say anything to us which is why they don't get 5 stars. She was also wearing a heavy fuzzy coat pouring salad dressing over the food as it came out. If she's handling food she shouldn't be wearing a fuzzy coat but made sure to point out the tip section before I finished paying. We finally order and the food takes a while to make. The place had just a few customers so I didn't think it would take too long but it did. It was all fresh which makes it forgivable. We ordered two meat bento boxes. Everything was delicious. The lettuce was crispy and fried food was crunchy. They had several sauces available and the good disposable chopsticks. I was happy to see the comfy cushioned seating because my back was hurting after all that walking at the mall. We will probably come back again but with more time to burn. We were late to our next appointment across town.

Loved it. My food was a tad heavy on the salt but still very good. The rest of the table loved it. Took left overs home and was just as good as when we ordered it. Would come back. The staff deserves its own five stars.

The workers were very friendly from the moment we walked in the door. The popcorn chicken was fried to perfection, reminded us of how it was when we were in Japan. The place was very clean, the food was fresh, flavorful and didn't take long to come out at all. The mango green tea was sweet with chunks of mango. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for teriyaki and rice. The surrounding area looks a little sketch but don't let that deter you...this place is a hidden gem.

Decided to try this place for a quick lunch with kiddos. The woman at the register was very friendly and helpful. Food portions were huge for the price imo. And the prices were decent. Place was clean. Pull up parking . Food came out fresh and hot. Definitely will return .

We tried Mr. Teriyaki and I'm glad we did! The aroma as soon as you walk in hits you with delicious anticipation. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, Combination Teriyaki, and the Combination Bento Box--all of which were excellent. The proteins were cooked perfectly, crispy yet moist, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. Rice was fluffy and well prepared. The spring rolls, sushi, and fried gyoza were also spot-on. I've already been back since and will definitely return again.

But my son, bless his heart, wasn't exposed to Officer Whats-his-face explaining to a class of fifth graders how deviously addictive substances like heroin, crack, and hot pot can be. So my kid has had a habit for about three or four years now. Chinese hot-pot barely tempts me these days; I don't need a numb mouth like that. Mongolian...that level of sodium was fine in my twenties, I guess. Shabu proper - served with ponzu and sesame sauce by some fella wearing a headband starts to get tempting. But I'm doing well this year, I've only flown to LA's Japantown for my fix once. And honestly, this is not that anyway. Most of these restaurants, where they expect me to boil my own dinner, are pretty easy to wean off of. I mean, seriously, how lazy can a restaurant owner be. Here's some raw meat, cook it yourself, folks? Unfortunately, Wild Japanese's offering is more akin to the most delicious of the hot pots. Singaporean or Malaysian style, with a gigantic assortment of sauces and a flavorful selection of broths, and the best soup you've ever had waiting for you at the end of your meal. And I hope that helps explain why when we go two weeks without a visit, my son starts to get really antsy and sees bugs crawling under his skin, just like Officer What's-His-Face said he would. I think originally you could get just not-shabu; nowadays, they make you pair the hot pot with some inferior food. We've tried the sushi a few times. That was a huge mistake. The Korean BBQ pairs well, it's just a lot of effort, and not a lot of soup, so we grill a token steak or two but otherwise stick to not-shabu. Anyway, that's a short entomology of hot pots throughout the world, excluding fondue, according to my tummy. I could probably stop anytime if I really wanted. Eating this delicious not-shabu. But for my son's sake, I go.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.

It's great for meeting with friends, as the staff will not rush you at all. For tonight's adventure, we ordered a variety of delicious items to share among the other couple, family style. The Spicy Edamame is a good starter. It's tasty and light enough to get the taste buds fired up for what was about to come next.
