The dino rib was tender and soft and the meat slides right off the bone, the egg was a nice touch. Id honestly get it again for the presentation and dino rib. 7/10. * Ramen donut ($10) with kimchi (+$2) ~ this was super crispy and cheesy the kimchi added a nice flavour and spice to it. If your a fan of cheesy ramen noodles then this might be for you to try! 6/10. * Sweet chilli & mayo on a stick ($16) ~ it was crispy and tender and the chicken was juicy. I really liked the combo of the sweet chilli and mayo. Not to mention this was huge! 7/10. * Dynamite Sushi hot dog ($18) ~ this was insanly huge! And it was so crispy and flavourful i loved the crunchy exterior and the crab meat. The spicy mayo was also a nice touch of spice to it. Its huge though i recommend to share as it can he heavy! 7.5/10. * Overall pt.1 was a success it was all delicious and yummy. We all loved having this as a lunch option because it's, well, relatively more nutritious and clean than say, burgers or fried Vietnamese spring rolls. So, my bro and I decided to give the SFU location a try and waiting in steady anticipation for our custom poke bowls. The food came relatively quickly and the portions are still quite generous but...the sauce department was lacking. We both felt like there wasn't enough flavour to the poke, and the plain white rice was starting to overtake the delicious toppings. It was a bit different from my past experiences with the Lougheed location. Anyways, still got my poke fix, though I may lean towards trying Pokey Okey more next time haha

I didn't get a seat at 3pm on a Thursday, so I had to walk back to campus to eat it. A quick thing I learned the hard way, if you want quinoa, use a spoon. I've tried the other two Pokérritos in Vancouver and had good experiences. This was my first visit…read moreto this location and my first time trying the namesake pokérrito. Compared to the locations on W 8th and Hornby, this location is more optimized for takeout; the seating is just stools at counters along the walls and for me the counter was awkwardly high compared to the height of the stool. It was also a little loud. If you're just getting takeout it doesn't make a difference because the food is consistent between all locations, but I would recommend the other location downtown (or the W 8th location if that's in range) for a more comfortable dine-in experience. I tried the Diamond Head pokerrito and subbed out the spicy tuna for the vegan tuna. It's still not a vegan meal if you do this because there are other seafood ingredients in the wrap, but I wanted to try the vegan tuna. It was delicious but very messy because the pokérrito is essentially a giant sushi roll and not sealed at the ends. You kind of have to keep it wrapped in the paper while you eat it but there's no graceful way to eat the ends. I really enjoyed the flavours of this even if I had to get my hands dirty though. The vegan tuna is pretty good. The texture is close enough to real tuna that I wouldn't have noticed it was different if I didn't know. I also got a tiramisu. When I ordered, the person making my order informed me that it was still frozen but it was still good frozen, like ice cream. So I decided that I'd try it and it was pretty good as a frozen dessert except the large ladyfingers at the bottom were slower to soften and hard to scoop out. The coffee soaked into the ladyfingers was pretty strong and the bitterness was a nice contrast with the mascarpone cream. Their prices are very reasonable. The pokérrito and tiramisu came out to $19.90.

The restaurant provides quick service, and even though it's small, they make efficient use of space, so I've never encountered a scenario where there isn't enough seating. Make sure you check out their deals - there is a different poke bowl on sale each day of the week. The Coast poke is my go-to bowl.

Everything was good. The ahi tuna was decent, the fresh vegetables were solid, with really good rice. The quantity wasn't huge, but would be sufficient for lunch. The garlic shrimp was really good, with corn, canned pineapple, and OK macaroni salad put together over medium grain rice. The master of flavor at this restaurant has the Hawaiian flavor down, and if we had time, I would try their Kalua Pork or their Loco Moco. Next time.
