Love this place. I'm addicted to all things sushi. Most people typically get the poki bowl. I like how you can build it yourself and pretty much add in anything you want at no extra charge. I, however, am addicted to the sushi burrito and can't help but get that everytime. The flavors are so spot on. It takes a little more time for them to build but I'm in no rush. The only thing i'll mention is if you're there when it's not busy the workers tend to gravitate towards the back room and no one can hear you walk in. I don't know maybe get a bell in the front. It's happened a few times to me and to customers who stand there for a while before anyone thinks to check the front. read more

Finally! A good poke spot opened down the 79 in Temecula and it's literally down the street and around the corner. I ordered the small poke bowl (2 scoops) with 1/2 white rice and 1/2 salad, salmon and albacore...oh and all the toppings (including $1.75 for a spicy tuna scoop). The rice was cooked just right, more importantly, the quality of the fish is so fresh and tender! A lot of people are complaining about the price but for such a large serving, high quality fish, and unlimited toppings, paying $13.81 (after tax) makes sense. It's a complete meal. If you went to a sushi bar and got salmon & albacore sashimi & spicy tuna it would come out to the same price...and you get more in this bowl. I'll be back for more poke in the future! read more

I love Poke and have tried numerous places. The portions here were pretty big as compared to most other places which was pretty cool. However, for $14 I would have expected more scoops of protein. This place charged me $14 for 3 scoops. Also, the rice was a bit cold. I did enjoy the selection of toppings and the free complementary avocado on top of my bowl. Went here three times over the weekend (I love poke), and their serving sizes and portions are not consistent. I do like the Salmon Lover -- the salmon skin is a unique addition to any poke bowls I've had. The sauces are good. I just wish their portions are even throughout. This was a really good find! We normally go to a different poke spot in Temecula but after coming here, I will definitely be back. The portions of protein to rice are alright and they don't charge you for avocado. I had the big fish poke bowl that comes with your choice of 3 proteins and then toppings. I chose the spicy crab (yum), cucumbers, red and green onion, corn, avocado, masago, mandarin oranges, ginger, jalapeño with the proteins spicy tuna, tuna, and albacore. The house sauce and spicy mayo gave a good kick in the pants on spice. They also have Sapporo on tap for $4 and several other beers such as Kirin and Asahi. I opted for boba slushies which are made very well. The green apple was super refreshing and the honeydew was pretty good. Service was awesome, after we ordered for here, I noticed the decor was very cute with clean lines all over. And they just started all you can eat sushi and based on how fresh the fish was, I definitely try it. On top of that, they also offer udon and tonkotsu ramen. Seriously. I love a place with options. Something unique was their goma ponzu sauce I found too late after already getting the house and spicy mayo. I will have to try it on the next visit. I've never seen it at poke places but it's pretty enticing to see. Don't forget to tip! The workers are super friendly. ***Update: went for their AYCE sushi and unfortunately they've cut a lot of corners it seems. As a first timer to their AYCE, I have to say I'm heartily disappointed at the choices they've made. While the hand rolls and sushi (2-piece) items are done well, I can't vouch for the special rolls we ordered ("Gone Wild" or "Double Shrimp"). They attempted to serve the "Double Shrimp" without the shrimp tempura and were "out of halibut" when we ordered off the sushi selection. I ask for 3 hand rolls A chef special California Philly The gentleman proceeds to tell me that I have to order the hand rolls in sets of 3-4-5 And I told him I did and repeat the order of what I want. And he tells me California and philly aren't hand rolls. They're full rolls and I need to order hand rolls. I tell him I've ordered them before as hand rolls and never had an issue. His reply is I don't know what to tell you, they're not hand rolls. He continues to tell me I'm wrong and how they don't make those in hand rolls. Why would it be on there menu if they don't have them? Please have your people learn your menu or ask someone else working about it if they don't know. I arrived in Temecula at lunch time, and wanted to eat a decent meal before meeting my family at the local casino. Was really craving some poke, so I decided to check this place out. I was pleasantly surprised as to how fresh and delicious this local spot was! I ordered the poke bowl with half brown rice and salad. I got salmon, albacore, and spicy crab for my proteins. The fish was very fresh & flavorful! But what really made this bowl was the sauces! I mixed spicy mayo with garlic aioli. Really great combination! There was an Asian guy who was flirting with the customer he was attending to, and he practically filled the girl's order- he could not even close the lid. The crabby crunch was good, though I've had better, and honestly I could have done without the spring green mix. The salmon samba however had a fishy smell to it. My SO barely finished his...fishy smell is a no no! There are other poke joint within a five mile radius. And I hope they do well. For some reason, this particular location, I've seen businesses come and go. Give it a shot and form your own opinion. My experience was just mediocre and if I am craving poke, there are other places nearby, that I think is a little better. Used to be my favorite poke place in Temecula. Recently, they started using a weight scale when they make your bowl. When you're asking for scoops of fish, they place the amount of scoops you asked for on a weight scale to make sure they're not giving you a little extra. What a greedy and terrible business decision. It makes your customers so uncomfortable and I've had my last several poke experiences here ruined by this change. In the future, I'll be going to poke places that are more reasonably priced, and that don't use a weight scale to measure how much fish they are giving you. read more

In order to make an accurate review of this restaurant I need to start from the beginning. As a youth I was looking for a wholesome athletic activity. My search ended at K. Kim tae Kwon do. The instructors liked my soft hair and it was an overall good experience for the first few months. I made it to Orange stripe belt before I decided to quit, but my mother forced me to continue. I resent her for that, which is the main reason why we have a terrible relationship. The next portion of this story is about my teen years. It was spring break of 2017. The weather was hot and I had nothing to do. My cousin and I mounted our bicycles and we set of on an adventure. We decided to ride down to Bahama bucks which replaced my old foe K. Kim. The shave ice was mediocre. Who in their right mind would have straight ice instead of delicious ice cream? Anyway after consuming this cold treat we scurted back towards our houses where out of the blue I was hit by a car. The driver refused to pay my hospital bill or pay for the bicycle. I decided I would never ride again. Mainly because I can't. I'm paralyzed from the waist down. That brings me to the review of Poke Port. I was already skeptical about this place because it is located where two of the worst things in my life have occurred. My family and I (involving my mother who I still don't talk to) drove to poke Port, Instead of going to a movie with my grandparents. We were there for quite a while waiting for food and having an generally good time in a nice friendly environment. I soon discovered that was merely a facade. My sister went to go meet her boyfriend who is leaving on an LDS mission (his farewell is 7/8/2018 at 1 pm at the la Paz building). We all said goodbye to her and she walked out the door. No more than 10 seconds later she came in screaming , "the window is smashed!". We went outside to see that the back driver side window was shattered. The joke is on the theif because he only stole a backpack full of sunscreen and water bottles when there was a hydro flask and a pair of ray bans. So this theif was clearly an idiot. Anyway we returned to the store to see that the staff was staring at us through the window. Glad to see they were interested, but it would've been a lot more helpful a few minutes ago when we were being robbed. If you have been to this restaurant, you would understand the pain we have been through. The whole wall facing the parking lot is made of windows. I've been here three times since COVID-19. They practice good social distancing and all employees always wear masks and they expect customers to wear masks, and I am glad and always see everyone masked up. I'm on a poke bowl kick, and the poke bowls here seem to have the best and freshest ingredients than other places I've tried. Two out of three times I've had generous toppings, one time it was slightly on the stingy side. The employees have all been happy and pleasant. The young man today who made my poke bowl made it so yummy! I wish I had thought to take a picture before I ate it.
