I've been here many times, and recommend this place to friends all the time! I love their selection, and their prices are very reasonable. I always get them make your own poke bowl with two or three proteins. I've tried the sushi a few times, this is great as well, and surprisingly flavorful, and fresh for a place with a limited menu like this! The service is always great, and very fast, but there is very limited seating, and it is not meant to be a long dine in experience. I recommend this spot is more of a to go sushi or poke destination-- it's much cheaper than others, and very close to the same level of freshness and flavor!! read more

Overall, overpriced and slow. Came off rush lunch time like 2 pm and service was slow, stood for at least 5 mins before being served. Burrito wasn't what I expected, personally not something I like. Would maybe do a bowl instead, the seaweed wrap isn't for me. Protien was strange didn't have a lot of flavor tasted mostly like the sauce I added. Place was clean though. Probably won't be back unless someone else wants to come. read more

This place is a fun drink paradise. So many to choose from, but we definitely go for the Hawaiian Sun pineapple orange. The associates were very nice and even sold us their frozen pineapple Dole whip, which was tropical bliss. I just wish they had it year round. The place was quiet and super clean. Ordered a Poke bowl from here via DoorDash. I made my own bowl with spicy salmon and spicy tuna, which was overall decent. I felt like the fish quality wasn't super fresh but not bad for Midwest. I like having a lot of sauce on my bowls so I appreciated that they had a "heavy flavor" option. They were also very generous with the toppings. read more

The place is very clean and appropriate amount of space for the type of food served. Their menu has several options that likely will suit any palate. I enjoyed making my own rice bowl and the variety of seafood, veggies, toppings, etc available. The fish and veggies tasted fresh and the sauce options were yummy! The miso soup was flavorless so would not recommend that. The staff was friendly and helpful and the service was quick. I don't know what happened but each time I come here it gets worse and worse. Last time I got a delivery order. It barely had anything in it. I called to complain and was told to take a video. Then this last time I did a walk in and ordered a plate and a salad. The plate I wanted lettuce instead of rice. The girl said she can't because they already put a salad. I said then can you just put extra salad instead of the rice. She said no. This is the "salad" the plate came with. (Adding photo) I drive all the way from Bellevue and I just won't anymore. When I ordered the salad (with 2 proteins) the girl seemed rushed. Kept saying "what else" after each item I added to the salad. If it wasn't "what else" it was "is that all?" There was one person behind me. No reason to be rushed, as I was saying what I wanted and didn't need to be prompted. read more

The place is very clean and has many choices for their poke bowls. You have a choice of salmon, tuna, spicy salmon, or spicy tuna. For the bottom, you can get white or brown rice, or salad mix. Now for the toppings, you can add on as many as you would like. They have avocado, seaweed salad, jalapeños, corn, masago, crunchy onions, nori, green onions, etc! They also have desserts like mango haupia (in a cup) and drinks! Service is very quick and there are some seats inside the place. Poke works is also located in a shopping district and so there is ample parking. The only downside is that the fish portions were small, as compared to other poke places. read more

Always a good experience here. I did the choose your own poke bowl and the sashimi is always very fresh. The portion is generous and worth every penny spent. The server is friendly, good and fast. I do order and pick up sometimes and it usually take less then 15mins for pick up. Definitely one of my fav poke place. read more

First time eating here as I always frequented Maholo Poke Co. before they closed and I was weary to try anywhere new. I didn't need to worry becuase the food was delicious! I placed a to-go order of a custom bowl with tofu, seweed, edemame, surimi salad, avocado, and the Pokeworks and Shoyu sauces. I think they forgot the Pokeworks sauce, but I could be wrong since I've not had it before. Either way I went home and added some Kewpie sauce and it was amazing! It was better than I was hoping for after missing my previous Poke place for so long. My food was ready a few minutes early, the place was nearly full, and I was helped very quickly after entering. Popped in to Pokeworks recently for a casual afternoon lunch with a friend and it hit the spot! No one else was eating in while we were there for lunch on Saturday, but they were getting lots of takeout orders so I know folks have found Pokeworks despite it being less visible from the road. I ordered a Spicy Tuna bowl (regular size) and subbed in salmon. The sizes change based on scoops of protein, but the bowl size is a constant. It was super easy to sub in ingredients and sauces I preferred, and I also added a garlic spam musubi. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the regular was perfect for a filling but lightweight lunch. The musubi was excellent- I was a little nervous initially as it was prewrapped, but it was warmed and the garlic sauce was pleasantly sweet. A great addition that really conveys the Hawaiian roots. The seating area was bright, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely lunch here again! read more

Good heavens, this place is yummy. The only issue is their proximity to my hood, but it's probably a good thing because I'd be there every other day. Fantastic poke bowls, fresh ingredients, and the serving size is great. We get them delivered often, and usually order a second "leftover" bowl because YUM. One thing I miss though, I can't order kimchi as a topping through the apps anymore. I'm guessing that's because it'll make the delivery vehicle smell. These are easily our favorite Poke bowls in Omaha! Awesomesauce! And awesome sauces too! GET SOME! read more

Biggest pieces of advice be very particular about how much sauce you like or get it on the side and do yourself. Ingredients are fresh and you have many choices. You can be as healthy or unhealthy as you want they give you all the options from white rice, brown rice, and veggie noodles as a base. They you can pick your protein which also includes tofu, fish, shrimp, chicken and beef. My bowl was loaded with sauces and it was just too much and over powering for me. read more

I ordered off doordash so keep that in mind. I got the strawberry lemonade and build your own bowl with flame roasted salmon and chicken. The chicken was a little sus, I'd say about 75 percent of it was super tough and chewy. The salmon was pretty good and I got the classic poke sauce with it. The flavor was a little underwhelming but the toppings helped. They did forget my straw as well. The strawberry lemonade was good though. It was so close to a 4 star review but just not quite there. I ordered via DoorDash and had no issues there. All items were included and correctly made. It was quick too which I appreciated. I ordered the bang bang chicken bowl and garlic spam musubi. Everything was just ok. The biggest issue I found was just an overpowering flavor of raw garlic which I never thought I'd say! I would love if they had traditional spam musubi. Also, a bit thicker, more browned spam would be good. The bowl had no obvious issues but something about the sauce or spices or garlic marinated chicken just didn't hit right. It was a sharp flavor that again, seemed like an overpowering flavor of raw garlic. The musubi wasn't super warm when it arrived so I might try to heat the leftovers, but the chicken and rice in the bowl seemed warm. I'll probably try the restaurant again but might try a different protein and different sauce. read more

This eatery has a line where the people get scoop the food for you, like Qdoba or chipotle. I'd say navigating your order is difficulty, but the staff are patient and helpful so that's nice :) The food is really good. In my eyes the best things to get on your bowl is the seaweed salad, crab salad, and rice. The lobster was good, the shrimp wasn't my favorite, and the spicy salmon was good as well. After a few times of passing this place, I decided to try it out and I'm so glad I did! Located conveniently next to Trader Joe's, this place is a little hidden gem in the area! Kindve like a healthy-upscale Subway almost (minus the bread) this place is full of fast, healthy options! I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness of everything! I tried the Poke "Burrito" with white rice all wrapped in roasted seaweed. I noticed it's all about what you put in it!! I put salmon, ahi tuna, cucumbers, Serrano peppers, ginger, cabbage, kale, and their poke sauce. Tasted amazing! I understand why this place is so popular! Fresh, fast, and healthy! I really enjoy Pokeworks. I've come with friends and with my husband while at first, you maybe feel like you don't know where to begin, Pokeworks staff is super helpful and guides you through the building phase really easily. First time ever having poke was not a disappointment! I went with the safe option, Bang Bang Chicken Bowl, but next time I'll go with a seafood option. Overall really impressed with the variety of veggies and add-ons you could choose from, really great for customizing your own! Great sauces to choose from as well! Unfortunately this was disappointing. I felt so bad for the girl working. She had no help. Everything was empty. I saw 3 sets of people walk out because the wait was so long. She was working so hard but she needed at least 3 other people helping her. The food would look amazing if it was filled. She couldn't do all the menu items because she was out of toppings and one would take too long to make (because she was alone)! The Umami Classic was Ahi Tuna and Sushi rice with whatever topping you want. Great flavor, sauces were flavorful and I love that you can add anything you want. This place can be a success if they just staff it correctly. The people that walked out were upset. read more

I love me some poke!! I recommend getting the build your own version and throwing as many topping as your stomach will allow. The fish was good and they have a ton available options for mix ins and sauces, and even crunchies to go on top! I enjoyed my meal here and the place is very clean inside with a lot of space. The service was quick and friendly! For the price I got less fish than what I was expecting, but it still tasted good. The novelty of the poke burrito is what drew me to come here, and it's definitely good, but I don't think I'll always choose to do that instead of a poke bowl. The tuna had a weird texture to it, not as good of a quality as I expected for the price point. Some of the handles of the scoops for the fish had fallen down into their respective containers. That didn't seem like the best food safety thing for raw fish but I'm also not an expert on food safety. You can get 10% off if you show a same day Trader Joe's receipt! read more

Came for lunch and had a mixed experience. The place is really nice inside, the staff move fairly quickly (maybe actually a bad thing, see below) and they have lots of nice extras to add into your bowl. Prices are on par with other places, $10.95 for 2 scoops of fish and a few bucks more for another scoop. Although, $1.50 to add a small amount of avocado is definitely too much, as is $2.75 for a teeny tiny Spam Musubi with barely any rice compared to the photo they use for it. As for the fish, the quality is ok, but not amazing. Quality is no better than other places in town, in fact it seems slightly lower given that they cut the fish much larger here and you can really taste it on its own. That's a credit to them for being so transparent, but they really should have great quality fish to do that. I hope they figure that out, because the add ins are good here and not limited to only a few items like other places. Service for me wasn't the best. I noticed that the employees suggest the house sauce to everyone, and if they get it, the staff asks if they want a light, medium or heavy amount. For some reason, they don't ask on the amount if you get a different sauce. I opted to add other sauces instead, and asked for "a little bit" of the ponzu. The employee proceded to drench the bowl in it, even continuing after I told him to stop twice. I honestly should have asked for it to be remade, but I decided to try it anyway. Unfortunately, it was definitely over sauced. I didn't even get to add the other sauces I wanted because he added so much of the first one and I didn't want to end up with soup. So that was really disappointing. Honestly, I had hoped this would be the best poke in town, but overall it really wasn't for me. I'll probably give it another shot, and hopefully it improves. Pokeworks was created by our four founders who share a passion for bringing flavorful food to people in a fun and healthy way. After many trips to Hawaii filled with lots of poke, the founders decided to bring this island favorite to the Mainland for all to enjoy. From the beginning, Pokeworks was a consumer sensation. When the first store opened in 2015, hundreds stood in line to build their own poke burrito or bowl. "The 'Sushi Burrito' has hit NYC and it's amazing", a video describing our craveable poke burrito, went viral with more than 50 million views. Today, Pokeworks is the leading and fastest-growing fast casual poke brand in the world.

Meet the Business Owner: Steven C.

My brother Ken and I, we are the owners of Pokeworks here in Omaha and Creighton alumni. Our inspiration to bring delicious Hawaiian-inspired pok© to Omaha started as students attending Creighton University. Creighton has been known as the Maui of the Midwest for many years due to its ability to draw so many Hawaiian students. Through the bonds we forged with our Hawaiian friends and our many trips to Hawaii, we discovered pok©. It was love at first taste, and it became our favorite food instantly. A few years later while working in New York City, I encountered Pokeworks and their delicious pok© bowls, and that brought back memories of our trip in Hawaii. I made a decision right away to bring Pokeworks to Omaha. The chance to be able to bring something we are so passionate about to the place that is special to our heart is truly a dream come true!

Now, when it comes to broccoli cheese soups, the one I measure them all against is the Panera one that comes in a bread bowl. And this was nothing compared to that. Kind of bland and also cold. Now I know you're saying "couldn't you just heat up these cold items?" And to that I say "I shouldn't have to do that, when I literally live a block from the store!"
