It's kind of similar going go like a Waba Grill or Flame Broiler but the food is more of an authentic asian taste. Gives more home made kind of vibes. I've seen reviews about the service... haven't had an issue so far. Also seen bad reviews about the rib plate... that plate is delicious and affordable. That meat is very expensive in the market so if you think that the place isn't worth the price, go try making that plate yourself and tell me again if you think its expensive . I used to come here when it first opened years ago. The food was great, but the service needed work. When they first opened, I was able to smell and taste that the food was indeed flame grilled. Today when I went, absolutely not. The chicken was bland, sauce was salty, and brown rice was under cooked. I unfortunately took my food back home or else I would've rectified this while there. My family and I were disappointed to say the least, more so me because I convinced them to get dinner from here rather than flame broiler. I have been coming here since they moved locations and the food still tastes amazing! Staff is always friendly and the service is usually pretty quick. This location is definitely easier to park at and walk inside compared to the last location. The chicken and steak bowl is my go to and is so filling! The chicken is so soft and has a ton of flavor, the steak has a nice cook to it and is not chewy. Cover that with some teriyaki sauce and it's game over! read more

I placed a phone order. As soon as I heard the voice I realized this person behind the phone, a woman is kinda off and rude . When I arrived i was not greeted what so ever , it's completely empty and they charge 50 cents just for extra onions. I really like the food but this is the fourth or fifth time I've gotten the wrong order. I asked for 3 bowls, no cabbage, brown rice and extra sauce and I got 3 bowls with cabbage, white rice and one extra sauce. When you ask for more sauce they act like you're crazy for asking. A co-worker said I had to try it because it was allegedly better than the bigger chain franchises that also feature grilled chicken and beef bowls. I ordered the chicken bowl and added a side of shrimp because the photos of the shrimp looked really good on the menu board. I was hoping the shrimp would be fresh. When my order was up, the shrimp looked even better than it did in photos. The shrimp was fresh, grilled, and painted with a teriyaki sauce. The shrimp was delicious! In regards to the chicken, it was tender and tasty. I did not see an all white meat option. The interior is a little odd, but there are enough tables inside and outside for the lunch rush. The staff members were extremely friendly, and I noticed they knew the names of their regulars. The chicken is skinless and the meats fat-trimmed and boneless. You can choose your meals with or without steamed vegetables, and white or brown rice. Chicken bowls start at $6.29, and the highest priced meal combo, is the salmon plate with rice and salad for $11.79. The serving size is plenty even if you opt for the cheapest bowl. Each meal comes with a fortune cookie and small cup of their "amazing" grill sauce if you're into a more saucier meal. I personally like it just the way it is. Venue is medium sized, with booth seating areas and very clean. Counter service needs a little bit of warmth and a smile but, maybe the Leprechaun never showed up to visit her on Saturday. This was great. I'm from OC area so when I saw it I figured it would be like The Flame Broiler, which they've been popping up all over OC. Once I went inside I was pleasantly surprised by additional options for shrimp and salmon. But for a first time I went fairly standard so I could judge it fairly with a half chicken & half beef bowl. I would agree with other reviews that liken this place to Flame Broiler, but with slightly more generous portions and slightly lower cost. The main difference is that you can also get salmon and shrimp at this place. The salmon is huge considering the a-la-cart cost of only $3.99. I don't eat fish, but according to my family, it was tasty and flaky like salmon should be. I had the shrimp, steak and chicken. The shrimp was fresh cooked, unlike my other favorite bowl place that re-grills them. They have that nice snap when you bite into them, but they are still tender inside. The steak was good, but I didn't care as much for the chicken. But that is true for me in general, I'm not a big chicken fan. I also wasn't a fan of their teriyaki sauce. It was a little bitter. It didn't bother me since I make my own Benihana style ginger sauce and put it on all things Asian-esque at my house, but be aware that it isn't your typical teriyaki before you pour it all over your food. Overall, if you're in the mood for a bowl, I would recommend either this place or Big Bowl near Lowe's over all the other bowl restaurants. UPDATE: On my last visit the shrimp were smaller and didn't have the same snap. Also, the salad dressing didn't taste the same. I'll give them one more chance. Ok so I'm going to compare this place with an average flame broiler to give you a better idea. The place seemed pretty clean but nothing impressive. If you come with more than group of 4 then you will have to find more than one table. Now the important part... FOOD. I asked Chicken-Steak-Veggie Bowl with Brown Rice. Portion wise, it seems a little more than Flame Broiler because the bowl seems bigger. I think they cooked the meal right there and right then because the food was pretty hot when it came out. I liked it a little better than FB. Both chicken and steak were cooked just about right except for the slight burnt ends. The veggie tasted pretty fresh and the sauce wasn't overwhelming the other ingredients in the bowl. The brown rice was easier to eat compare to FB and I think it might be because it's not as dry as theirs. (which got me thinking they might have more white rice added to it maybe?) They have the coke products and some OJs and stuff. Over all, I thought it was ok. I will come back some other times but I didn't think it was amazing or anything... Just OK... (Unless their shrimp bowls are like totally off the chain... I will try that one next time) read more

They got it wrong and I contacted DoorDash customer service resent a redelivery and they mess up again! Went in person and they weren't even sorry about messing the order up except the cook.
