Not bad. Palm Thai Cuisine is the highest rated Thai food in Lake Elsinore. Naturally, I had to give it a try! I ordered the pineapple fried rice with tofu. It was decent. I loved the fried rice and the flavor was good. The only thing that I didn't care for was the tofu preparation. The tofu was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Outside was overcooked and the inside was raw tofu. I'm not a fan of raw tofu. It seems like they threw the tofu on a steaming hot woke and flash fried it, not considering the inside lol Everything else was fine. The tofu was off for me. My husband got the beef Thai fried rice. He enjoyed it. Said his dish had good flavor. It didn't "wow" him though. I also wasn't wowed by my dish. I've had way better Thai food before. Service was fine. They made the food quickly. I recently enjoyed a flavorful meal at Palm Thai Cuisine in Lake Elsinore. Located off Central and near the 15 Freeway in the same complex as Costco. This was a hidden gem and I feel like it is a good spot for authentic Thai food. The menu has plenty of classic favorites, like savory Pad Thai noodles with your choice of protein which I got the chicken on top, rich Tom Ka coconut soup, and grilled chicken satay with peanut sauce that make great starters. All of these items were quite tasty and not too spicy. I really like the flavor or the Tom Ka coconut soup. Hard to describe the flavor as its so delicious and fragrant to me. I am definitely getting more chicken satay next time! Menu prices are a bit higher than what I am used to but the portion sizes do make up for it. Overall, ambiance was nice and cozy. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Gave good recommendations, and the service kept things moving smoothly even during a busy dinner rush. read more

We were on our way home and needed a late lunch/early dinner spot and found Palm Thai. The inside was clean, servers were friendly, and the food was on the table within minutes. This is one of the best Thai places I've eaten it. Everything was delicious! We ordered the papaya salad, drunken noodle, spicy fried rice, and yellow curry. Flavors were on point, and all dishes were seasoned perfectly. We asked for mild spice for every dish, but the only one that even a hint of a kick was the yellow curry. This is by far my favorite Thai food place. It's very worth it to make the trip to Lake Elsinore location.

1st time. It was so good! I had the Thai style beef salad. The flavor was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Cashew with Tofu as the protein. This too was incredible. The Tofu had a great crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Just how we like it. Its been hard to find great spots in the area but this will definitely have us coming back. I was very pleased with this Thai spot! We stopped in for dinner after a family event. I was happy to see that we weren't the only diners here - that's a good sign. We were seated right away and we placed our orders shortly after that. We got a panko butterfly shrimp as an appetizer, the chicken satay house special with fried rice, red curry, and pad thai with chicken. With the curry they let you choose a side dish from steamed rice, fried rice, steamed veggies, and something else, which I thought was a bit odd. Why would you get anything other than steamed rice? Curry is designed to be paired with rice! The portion sizes were great. I actually could have used more rice to go with my curry, but I was full with all the other food anyway so I decided to just take my leftover curry home and make more rice later. The server was very responsive and filled our waters regularly. They also have a bathroom for customers here, which was nice. I liked all the food and the prices were pretty reasonable. read more

A quick stop for good Thai food, This was our first stop at this Thai restaurant . The seating area was small not made for large groups. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly and polite. We ordered our food and it was served all together a nice change from regular Thai restaurant. The food was very good and tasty. I will return for another review, I don't recommend large groups who like to sit for long periods chatting with others due to limited seating. Wanted a sandwich around the corner but they were closed so I looked for something I'd enjoy eating. Palm Thai was in the same plaza and they had just what I wanted for Lunch. I was super thirsty and hungry. The Pad Thai sounded tasty so I asked what the Spice Scale was and she said it was 1-5 with '5' being the Spiciest. I decided on 'Number 4' which was the perfect amount of spice for my taste buds. Their Tom Kha Soup sounded good but it was hot outside so I opted out on it until the next time I'm here. Something tasty to look forward to. I had beef last night so my Pad Thai had a combination of shrimp and chicken in it, as well as an order of Vegetable Egg Rolls with some tasty Plum Sauce for dipping. Ambiance was nice and peaceful, it was late afternoon and just one other table had diners enjoying their meal. Definitely returning with my Friends for their tasty Food. That shouldn't even be the standard. Also had 3 pineapple pieces. Rice was great. Onions fresh. Meat and pineapple (the stars) lacking. Still keeping 4 stars for now bc hubby liked his yellow chicken curry a lot and we love the egg rolls. Will update after our next visit. Next time may just order shrimp alone bc chicken was so dry and shrimp so lacking. We will see! Will give it one more shot. read more

I absolutely love this place! It's my go to for Pho and Pad Thai chicken noodles. I've tried many different Pho places, but none compare to this place. I even had the Palm Thai that they opened in Wildomar and it doesn't taste the same as this location. The customer service is always good and even when you order takeout the food still tastes good. My son who is a picky eater loves their chicken fried rice and the fried pot stickers. We've been coming here for years and love it so much! read more

Good local Thai spot if you're looking for a good meal option passing through the area. Flavors are authentic and portions are shareable for two persons per dish. Staff is attentive and the water fills were really good. Didn't have to ask for refills. The lady, who might be the owner, can be heard all through your dining experience. We only ordered the Crab Lagoon appetizer and yellow chicken curry this time but we've tried other dishes in the past and it's been the same quality. My kids had a yellow chicken curry with low level spice and liked it. My medium spice yellow chicken curry was yummy as well. Itched that Thai Food scratch we had today. Nani was our waitress today and she's very kind with great people skills. I'd give this place 3.5 stars as far as ambiance but the food and service is good. We'll be back. read more

I recommend this place for take out only if you had no other choices. There are so many better Thai places in the Lake Elsinore / Murrieta area to choose from. We came here at a Sunday afternoon and there were only 4 tables seated so it was not busy. The missus and I decided on a simple order of Tom Yum with Shrimp and Chicken and a side of white rice. Upon arrival, we had to ask the server for bowls in order to eat the soup out of. When she brought them, not only one but both were dirty and filled with food stains. We immediately asked for replacements in which the server gave us a look, took 2 additional bowls, wiped them with a dirty towel and gave them to us. The spoons were dirty too but I decided to wipe them myself with a napkin after seeing the scene with the bowls. Next is the steam rice, which was supposed to be white. When we started scooping into it, the bottom was brown and dirty. When we brought it up with a different server, he said it was probably just burnt. Having experience making rice all my life, I know what burnt rice looks like and this was definitely not burnt. The soup was mediocre. It was brought in the traditional Thai restaurant silver "pot", but there was not flame under it where one usually is in other restaurants. The shrimp part of the Tom Yum did not taste fresh. The onions within soup were cut in a way where rotten end parts were intact. Needless to say, we finished our meal as quickly as possible, asked for the check, and got the heck out of there. read more

I ordered pho to go from this location for the first time, and it was a pretty decent experience. The ladies at the front were so sweet and incredibly patient with me while I decided what to order. One of them even gave me some great suggestions, which I appreciated. I ended up getting the veggie pho with tofu, and they packaged it perfectly for take out- the noodles and some of the veggies were on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. While i would've loved more veggies like broccoli and carrots in it instead of so much onion, the overall experience was still good. The broth didn't have a ton of flavor compared to others I've had, but I think that might be because the veggies were on the side and didn't have time to infuse into it. The fried tofu was also great. I did cut the pieces smaller to make it easier to eat. I was also surprised by how much I got, especially since I only ordered a cup, but I finished it all! read more

Their customer service was on point even though it was close to their closing time. They were fun, bright, and friendly. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. We ordered 3 dishes: eggplant with chicken, tilapia in garlic sauce, and a dumpling soup with carrots and broccoli. The best dish was the eggplant. I just wish it had more eggplant in it. I usually judge a thai restaurant by their Thai iced tea or their pad thai. The thai iced tea at Palm is great. I'm not crazy about their pad thai tho. One of my favorites in Fontana doesn't have great pad thai either but what is our existence without exceptions. The pad thai here just uses these noodles that are reminiscent of spaghetti or something. It's tolerable, but not amongst my fav. I also hate that they don't serve pad woon sen. Everything else is pretty good. I've had their thai fried rice and a few other items and enjoyed them. As for customer service and everything else, the servers are great and the staff is hospitable. It's located within a pretty busy plaza but you shouldn't have an issue finding parking. When I do eat here, it's usually for the red curry. They can accommodate vegans and will make things like orange tofu or whatever you wish. read more
