Price = cheaper than others around town Medium Bowl - here's the thing. The rice and bowl is fine. The fish is standard quality, but significantly less in quantity. The sauce and toppings are where this becomes a problem. The sauce is SO LIMITED AND SPARE it only covers fish. Its also overly mayo based. Not enough zing. There is no sauce left for the bowl condiments. They obviously want to cut cost here and have not considered a dry bowl and how bad that is. The toppings are 1 TINY SPOONFULL of each topping. And I mean tiny. They literally want to charge extra if you want more than 14 edamame. POOR DECISION. If they do not change the business model, they risk losing all of us who go to Poke places religiously. It is not a good sign to get home and have to add quite a bit of Ponzu sauce at home. This is my first time trying Poki Stop and I must say I've had better. This place was OK but not great. Pokiland and Butterfish are much better--by far. The portions here are much smaller than the other places Plus they put way too much rice. I typically get very full after eating Pokiland but I was not full after eating poki stop. We don't really like brown rice and we asked if we could wait for white rice and he was transparent and let us wait, thanks for being honest and not saying you just don't have it. I'm SOOO excited that a poké place is finally in my neighborhood!!! Just drove by and scared my hubby because I kinda screamed "oh my god!!!" when I saw the sign. So I went the following day and was a bit disappointed. They were generous with the rice, but the protein scoops were very small, probably half of what you get at Butterfish. I'm hoping it was just opening jitters and that they've read their reviews and done some retraining. So happy they're here in NW Fresno, just want them to up their game. Made my second visit today (2/28) and I was pleased with the amount of protein in my bowl. However, my niece ordered a small bowl like mine but had quite a bit more protein than me. The employees are always very friendly and courteous. I wish they had a few more choices of sides, Like macadamia nuts, and Asian pear, but the quality of the food is top-notch, and delicious. I also think they should be open later and on weekends, at least Saturday. I can't tell you how many times I've craved poki then realized it was Saturday and they're closed. I'm so glad a poki place finally opened up close to my house. This place is pretty similar to other poki places. They offer the usual items. Brown rice, white rice or salad. They have crab, shrimp, tuna, salmon and a few others. They also have lots of sauces and toppings to chose from. The thing that really makes this poki place stand out from the rest is the service. I've never had poki before, per se. My first experience with a poki restaurant was a few years ago in Sacramento, when poki was first catching on. My only interest was trying a poki-ritto. What can I say, I'm a Mexican who likes food with a twist. I been looking for an excuse to come to Poki Stop since I live only a mile away, and today was it. I'm going to be honest, these build your own type meals can go really good or really bad. So I turned to Yelp for help. The tip section wasn't very helpful. Just a bunch of "great food" type messages, which are not tips at all. After a quick scan of the reviews, I was ready to build. My main concern was the sauce. A lot of people recommended the house sauce, so went with that. And one person recommended doing half rice, half salad, due to the rice absorbing all the sauce. My only complaint with doing that, is the spinach leaves an aftertaste, in my opinion. So here was build-medium half and half, rice and mixed greens, protein - ahi, salmon and chicken, house sauce, sides-cucumber and seaweed salad, toppings-cilantro, ginger, wasabi and crispy noodle. I wasn't present when my bowl was being built, but I would have liked the wasabi to be placed last, as well at the toppings get spread around. But the taste was amazing! Husband ordered (ahi, squid, salmon and scallops) 4 different proteins with kelp noodles and mixed greens. Lots of toppings with no extra charge (except for avocado). I had 3 scoops of chicken on a bed of mixed greens with lots of toppings including avocado, edamame, crispy onions, cucumber, and green onion. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I was very excited to find out there is a poke place in the area. The place is small but very tidy and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helped out with my questions. They have decent options across the menu. I love the fact they offer both squid and octopus, which are my top favorites; and as well as chicken and tofu for those who aren't too keen on seafood. I had the house sauce (which I sampled) and the sesame vinaigrette, however, I couldn't really taste it in my food. Maybe it was the combo, since I was told the vinaigrette was the lighter option to go with the house sauce, but either way, my bowl really did kick that poke craving I had. I'd definitely go back again. One thing I noticed was that there weren't many drink options outside of fountain drinks. As someone who doesn't usually buy drinks (don't drink soda and I usually have my own water), I think boba would make a good addition to the menu, especially with summer rolling around. I'm a sucker for boba and I would walk out of my way to get some if it was nearby, so hopefully that could be incorporated in the future! read more

If this was the only Poki place in Fresno I would give it 5 starts. It is a newer Poki place in a city with 2 other great established Poki restaurants. The food is pretty good, wait times short, small seating area so you should be prepared to take it to go during peak hours. Overall, I like this place, and since it's the only Poki spot this side of town I will go here. Though Butterfish is better, i don't know that it's worth the drive if you live close to this place read more

As much as I love sushi I was craving a poke bowl and decided to try Poki Stop since they started business again early May. The shop itself is very small inside but it is very well lit. The decor was simplistic but cute. The menu was something that really drew me in, you get your proteins, rice/veggies whatever, and UNLIMITED TOPPINGS!! I absolutely loved their selection of sauces and I got all the spicy ones because I'm a glutton for pain, but! Unlike other poke places they put extra sauce over your rice! I for one definitely enjoyed that. Another hidden bonus is that for your protein instead of the regular tuna they offer ahi tuna! The staff was super friendly and helpful, they have a rewards program as well so when you go just ask and have your phone number listed to earn a free bowl after 11 bowls. Needless to say I will be returning here soon I really can't get over their sauces and service. read more
