I believe there was no excuse as to why they could not answer the phone. I confirmed they accept take out orders essentially until closing. I have always been mindful to not attempt to order within 30 minutes of them closing. The service here is appalling and truly diminishes their potential for how great the spot could be considering the food they have. Food on the other hand is a total opposite of the service, very flavorful and strong punch of spice at a level 3. My go to is the Wonton ramen with a miso base. Crispy rice is a great starter to share. The garlic ramen is also a great contender if you have a garlic craving. Open layout feels like a mom and pop shop. Overall pretty clean establishment. On our most recent visit, we came around 3:30 pm on a Monday during the last week of December and waited about 45 minutes to order, then another 20 minutes for our food. They have a self-order kiosk now, which helps keep things moving, but I'd still be prepared for a wait when it's busy. Considering how good the food is, I completely understand why so many people are here. The staff deserves a mention too.
