I am new to Riverside and my first time trying this place and every time after has been good. The owner is nice and even offered some items on the house my first time. Yesterday my coworker and I decided to try a new food spot, as we are new to the area. Poki is one of our favorite choices for a healthy lunch. We saw this location opened at 11 a.m. Was close and decided to try it. When we arrived we noticed the parking lot in disarray, and a small homeless population gathering in a field on a couch not 100-yards away. Be careful. Lock your car. The security did not look vigilant. Inside ambiance was clean but nothing to write online about. Service was good, but he was wearing T-shirt and it looked unprofessional. Fish appeared to not be fresh and was discolored. But still we gave it a chance. Wish we didn't. They give you and good amount of food. I just think it was little expensive. The rice tasted stale like it was made the day before. I recommend the Waba Grill. We have been countless times and zero complaints. read more

Great poke! All of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful and there were lots of options for your base, your protein, and your toppings. The wonton "nachos" were a fun option that you don't see at most poke places. I ordered a large and it was enough for two filling meals for me. Friendly, quick service. First time here and I was assisted by one of the owners. Service was great. Gave me some suggestions and it amplified my meal. Highly recommend adding sauce to your base before adding toppings. I got the large bowl which is a larger amount of protein than the regular. I got salmon, albacore tuna and crab. Brown rice and mixed green base. Added some chili lime and garlic ponzu with cucumber, mango, ginger with a sprinkle of crispy garlic. Food was very fresh and you can tell it was fresh just by looking at it. I searched on yelp for poke places in my area I am on a strict diet right now and today I am having a cheat day I decided to come here to get a hot cheeto sushi burrito which I have tried once before in downtown LA But I had to find one in my area so when I went there the employee that was making my burrito i could tell that he was new he put the seaweed down first and then the rice on top of that and there was a girl that he worked with that told him that it wasn't supposed to be done that way but she allowed him to continue he continued made my burrito at the end I told him I wanted hot Cheetos on it so he just sprinkled a little bit of hot Cheetos on the inside of my burrito when I know The hot Cheetos are supposed to be on the outside rolled onto the rice I mentioned it twice before paying to his coworker and him that I thought the hot Cheetos were supposed to be on the outside and they gave me some weird excuse and did not offer to remake it or anything. My boyfriend ordered two tacos I tried them the wonton tasted a little bit stale and it didn't have any shine from it being freshly fried in oil it looked like it had been baked it wasn't a very good wonton at all the burrito itself didn't have much flavor I couldn't taste the hot Cheetos at all even though I added tons of sauces and there was no soy sauce or Sriracha put in my to go bag so I ate the burrito plain but it didn't taste like much I definitely needed some soy sauce I was really disappointed in this meal after paying $25 for it and the customer service did not satisfy my hot Cheeto sushi rito craving and I do not plan to come back here or recommend this place. read more

Maybe that's a good thing though, because if the prices were more affordable, I'd probably eat here all the time. I was craving poke randomly and went to Poke Bistro one day and this place the next day. Let me tell you, Poketomik is far superior. Customer service is fantastic. My receipt shows that Moises was my cashier. He was very helpful, patient, and almost seemed to craft my bowl, ensuring that it had a fair amount of portions while maintaining an aesthetic presentation. Atmosphere is clean and inviting. And most importantly, the ingredients were fresh and high quality. I hate when poke places charge extra for avocado and then give you these browning slabs of an aging, dilapidated fruit. Poketomik's avocado was vibrant green and fresh! The fish was great quality. And they had mango! They give a filling portion. And they are hygienic here. The only negative is the steep price. But I would much rather pay a couple extra dollars for their quality ingredients than eat at Poke Bistro again. No comparison between the two. Poketomik is superior. If you're a Riverside local, or just passing through and looking for a poke spot, save yourself the research time and try this place. read more
