They load up the plate generously and the staff is nice. I ordered their bbq beef and katsu - each were tasty and served with rice and mac salad.

This location is our favorite to dine at! The service is always pretty quick and there are both inside and outside seating options! It's also always really clean -- which I'm sure we all appreciate! We normally get the Hawaiian BBQ chicken plate because it comes with no sauce on it, but this time we switched it up and got the Chicken and Beef combo plate. It was sooo good!! The beef was not super hard and chewy and felt like it melted in my mouth. And the chicken never disappoints!! I normally get my plate with an extra scoop of their Mac Salad (which means one less scoop of rice) because it is literally the best Mac salad I've ever had -- sometimes I even get all Mac salad and no rice! The rice and veggies are still really good as well, especially when you put their teriyaki sauce on it! We will definitely be back!!

My daughter found this in her meal, took it back to a rude manager. Told her that they don't have that stuff there. Why call to let them know, take it back and drive home ( 30 min round trip). Manager was a bit rude she said. I called to speak to manager or get her name and no luck. The could not give it to me. Contacted corporate. That's not right. Not asking for a free meal or lawsuit.

Katsu is the way to go. Clean location that is well stocked and fast service. Best macaroni salad around!

My fav Hawaii bbq spot! My friends and I come here after church almost weekly Pretty often they'll have pretty good deals, and I'm always a sucker for a good deal There are also a lot of sauce options which I love because I like to smother my rice in sauce The ambiance of the restaurant is also very cool, it's very pretty in there

I love the shrimp and my kids love the beef and chicken. Clean and i'm always greeted when i come in. Sometimes the food takes long but not too bad. For Chinese new years they gave us scratchers and we got a free appetizer and meal.

Came here yesterday for lunch when I was able to dine at a nearby restaurant. Paid $12-$13 for one scoop of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad & hardly any beef. In retrospect, I wish I drove further away to get a $4 burger or a $10 burger. Not worth the money and I'm not going to eat here in the future because prices are so high & portions are so small.

Food is great like any other Ono Hawaiian. Menu is great although the old menu was better in my opinion. Ambiance is very Hawaii and love it. People are courteous.

I've been here several times and this location is very consistent with food and service. Food: I tried the hawaiian bbq chicken on this visit. My go-to is the island white fish. The chicken katsu is also pretty good! Each plate comes with 3 scoops (can choose rice, macaroni salad, or a mix) and a side of grilled vegetables. One plate is enough to share between 2 people from my experience. My only complaint is that the grilled vegetables is usually only cabbage with 1 small piece of broccoli. The meat is always well-cooked and seasoned. They offer a variety of sauces like katsu, Sriracha, bbq, tartar, soy sauce, sweet mustard. Service: Very helpful staff with relatively quick service! Easily answer any questions you may have about their food and with a smile. Price: You definitely get the bang for your buck here! Large portions at very reasonable prices. They often have specials, right now it's $6 Island white fish or shrimp plates with 3 rice scoops and salad. Ambience: Quiet restuarant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tables are kept clean, along with the drink station and front counter. Parking: Plenty of parking at Riverside plaza. There are also a few spots right in front of the store for pick up.

I would have given them 5 Stars, however everytime I order my favorite Island Fire Chicken to go, the chicken is always over cooked & burnt.

With that we decided to eat next door at HK BBQ and while we waited for our number to be called. I went back to Ohana Cravings to see maybe the staff were running late. When she finally came over to unlock the door, she was having a hard time with the lock, like a really hard time. When she got the door unlocked, she held it open, I spoke, she said nothing, just smiled. Not a big deal, but if I speak, SPEAK BACK!!! Ordered the Pineapple Coconut Wontons and here comes another problem. She then was having issues with the register ringing up my order for me to pay. My order was done before I paid, because of the system, taking it's time...I guess. When my total popped up on the screen, it was much higher than I expected. Then I realized, it auto populated a tip on there. Anyone not paying attention, can easily miss that, and I'm one of those people that goes through prompts fast. But I knew my total should have been in the $8 range and it was $10 and some change. When I took the tip off, it went back down to $8. They are one of those places, that charge for using a card as well. On the other hand, the wontons were good.

The next day I went for the first time, I was in a hurry and I only had 20 minutes to be back at the hospital. Although I wanted shrimp and or a fish that was going to take 20 minutes to make it and I did not have that to give. The cashier lady said that the barbecue beef would be the fastest thing to make so I went with that. I ordered two. I got that in about 10 minutes and I was able to rush back to the hospital in time. Later, I was eating this on my way home and while driving and can I tell you that this was GOOD. I really wish I was sitting at a table to eat it because I just wanted to chow down, but I could only take quick bites at lights so I was very sad about that. The next day, I decided to stop by again because if you find something good, no need to go somewhere else. This time, I was with my mom and based on the pictures on the wall, she chose the Hawaiian fried rice mix and we decided to share it. There was so much food. We were both able to eat and each had leftovers to eat the other half the next day. The food is really good and I will definitely be back. Not only is it good, they give you a lot and the price is not too outrageous. Highly recommend.

I would order to-go, to be honest. Last two times I've been, the inside has had a strange chemical smell. No napkins anywhere, which is strange. Food always comes out fast, so you don't have to be there for very long...which you might not want to be.

I've never been to an Ono Hawaiian BBQ so I don't have any comparison. I went for lunch with my…read morehusband since we received a coupon in the mail (buy one plate get one free). We ordered the Island Fire Chicken plate, grilled chicken breast plate (I selected teriyaki instead of the lemon pepper), guava pie, and a large drink. It's worth noting that unless specifically listed, they use dark meat chicken. Both plates came with 2 scoops of white rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and 1 scoop of steamed veggies. Island Fire Chicken plate (6/10): my husband ordered this. I did not try it as I do not eat dark meat. The staff likened the spice level to higher than Sriracha. My husband was disappointed it wasn't as spicy as he was anticipating. Keep in mind spice is subjective. He wasn't a fan of the charred bits of chicken as the texture was too tough. He said he'd order it again, but it's nothing to rave home about. Grilled Chicken Breast plate (2/10): I ordered this as it was the only item in the menu with chicken breast (white meat). It was a disappointment. This is completely subjective, but to me, it was giving processed chicken. Like Tyson in the frozen food aisle. Also, it was not cut on the bias so it was difficult to eat. I gave up after one bite. I'll be giving the rest to my dogs. Macaroni salad (7.5/10): tasted good at first, but as I got closer finishing it, it started tasting fishy. I had just raved to my husband about how happy I was that it did NOT have ham. Just to find out it has tuna instead. I do not eat seafood so this was a disappointment. It wasn't great until the fishy taste overpowered it. My husband (who loves tuna) was a fan. Steamed Veggies (5/10): Frankly, it's hard to mess up steamed veggies. I was expecting more broccoli or other veggies on my plate. I got a bed of cabbage and ONE tiny broccoli floret. So did my husband. No shade to cabbage, but I expected more variety based on the menu photos. White Rice (10/10): The only saving grace was the rice. It was as expected. Simple, steamed, white rice. Hula Guava Pie (4/10): My job dropped (literally) when I saw it wrapped in plastic packaging. It was just sitting on the counter between the registers. I guess my greatest disappointment was in expecting it to be like the hand pies at Jollibees or McDonalds. They're obviously not made fresh in house, but they're warmed up and packaging nicely like a sweet little gift. So my expectations were shattered when I got this overpriced pop tart. You can certainly taste the guava on the inside, but it tastes quite processed. I'm a guava snob so I understand I'm being harsh. It did have the same texture as a pop tart. Plenty of parking outside. It's in a private lot in the same complex as a Target and Chick-fil-A. It felt a tad pricey. Without the coupon our total would have been closer to $38. With the coupon we paid $22.80 which felt like a great value since the portions are generous. I love that they have katsu and teriyaki sauces readily available. There's a pump with little cups so you can help yourself. The katsu sauce is vinegary which I'm not a fan of, but my husband enjoyed. We both enjoyed the teriyaki sauce. It wasn't too thin or too thick in texture. The staff was friendly and helpful. My seating recommendation if you dine, as soon as you walk in the door, sit on the right side. The left side is near the restroom (down the hall). I have a very sensitive nose and could smell the cleaning products. It's a non issue if you're not sensitive. Overall, I personally would not be back for myself, but husband enjoyed it. If you're into dark meat, or willing to try a different protein, give it a try and see for yourself. But personally, I've learned Hawaiian food is just not my cup of tea.

I believe at a certain point it was a Polynesian Mexican fusion restaurant based on photos, but during my visit, it's definitely more skewed to being a Polynesian restaurant. It's in a somewhat suburban area, so there's street parking and you may have to walk a bit, but we were able to find parking just right across. Park Avenue is a mini mart and shop, along with a restaurant. Hot foods, baked goods, shirts and apparel, jewelry, imported snacks and sweets, canned and jarred foods, and a fridge with some drinks and to go goods too. I was already super full already, but we were able to try a bit of the food and take the rest to go. Pretty generous portions and very unique food that is a bit more difficult to find elsewhere. We got the Taupou Plate which is a 3 item plate order with 2 side items. For this, we chose the lamb, turkey tail, and curry and for the side items we got the banana and taro. Interesting mix of sweet, creamy, savory, and umami. I'm not the biggest fan of turkey, but turkey tail isn't a very common "cut of meat" to order. Really rich, tender, and a bit greasy, but if you love turkey, this is perfect for you. Nice mix of flavors with this order and has the most variety. Definitely get this if you want a little bit of everything. Lamb meat was also moist and rich as well. Unique eats and great welcoming service as well!

OK: I was in the area and had a craving for tacos. I wanted a place I could get to on food, and was originally drawn to The Food Lab to another place. I was sooooo hungry at the time, so it was probably me that misread, but I didn't realize they were going to be chicken tenders on tortillas. And I didn't think the Cajun sauce was going to be on top, I thought it was going to be marinated. "Huh.... OK... what is this?" Don't let looks fool you - this is a bomb of flavors that were SO GOOD. The Cole slaw plus the chicken plus the pickles (which I ate separately) plus the Cajun sauce.. it all WORKS. Brilliantly.
