I was in the area and had to drop by for Tomo7's amazing 12th anniversary deals. 2 rolls for $16 or 3 rolls for $23 is even cheaper than grocery store sushi (and way more delicious). The lunch deal ends at 3, which I wasn't aware of when I went in at 2:20. Last call was at 2:30 so I quickly ordered 6 rolls. There was no wait and no one was in the restaurant. The server tried her best not to rush us but it was so obvious that they wanted us out, so we just scarfed everything down in 20 minutes and took the rest home, no biggie. I might just get takeout next time so I don't have to be such a menace. The rolls came with complimentary miso soup. The menu is pretty standard, nothing too inventive or "hip" (which I'm totally fine with! I don't need a viral K pop demon hunters roll with purple rice and edible gold or whatever). The Crazy Roll is my recommendation still; I love the idea of using crab in place of the rice. The rolls were all fresh, with very generously large cuts of fish. The tempura pieces were all freshly fried, nothing stale or cold. The sushi rice was lovely, nicely seasoned with individual grains still parsable. I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend stopping by to make use of this awesome deal. read more

This place was actually good! We went around 5:00 pm and the food came out so fast! The restaurant was really clean and empty at the time we went. I must admit that the music was good, the service was great and the food was delicious! I wish the all you can eat came in half rolls so we can try more but it's okay. I would come here if you want a quick bite! read more

I stopped by around 5:00 PM and had no trouble finding parking at front of the restaurant. I was seated right away and decided to go with the $30 all-you-can-eat option. I ordered a few different sushi rolls, and my favorite by far was the Tom07 roll with 4 pieces. The other sushi was decent, though nothing especially memorable. One thing I noticed was that the slices were a little bigger than what I'm used to, so I got full pretty quickly. Because of that, I wish they offered half orders instead of only full orders, since it would make it easier to try a wider variety of sushi. By my fifth order, I was already too full to really explore more of the menu. Service was okay, quick and friendly overall. I did feel for the server because she was handling the dining room by herself when I arrived. It was quiet at first, but after about 30-40 minutes more people started coming in, and service understandably slowed down. I did notice one of the sushi chefs come out to help run food to tables, which was nice to see. Overall, a solid experience. Not perfect, but still enjoyable, and if I'm in the area again, I'd probably come back. read more

The rainbow roll and 911 roll are ok. Nothing amazing. The albacore roll idk what was in that, it was gray and disgusting and didn't bother eating it. The fish was tough and we refused to eat it. Scared we will get sick so we didn't even bother. Don't know how service is. But we ordered 4 rolls... 4 and they gave ONE soy sauce and NO WASABI. Idk how the ambiance is because we doordashed. We won't be coming back. We also got the chicken Teriyaki plate for my kids, the rice was so little, chicken looked old. read more

My little guy and I decided to have sushi for dinner and Tomo 7 did NOT disappoint! Not only was the AYCE priced perfectly, I was happy that they offer a slightly cheaper price for children under twelve. Our server was Feng, and let me tell you, she was ON IT! The service my little one and I received from Feng made our night. She was fun, kind, and oh so accommodating. One of the items I chose was the vegetable tempura and she was able to bring me a special request of just one specific vegetable, her pleasure. I was floored. Thank you, Feng, and Tomo 7 for a sensational meal. I highly recommend. The sushi was noticeably fresh and five star, and every roll we ordered was delivered promptly and accurate. The service was top notch. The waitress was informative, attentive and personable. If I am being honest it is the best service we have ever experienced in a restaurant. Our drinks were filled, the recommendations were spot on and she was friendly. The sushi was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves! I recently moved to Chino Hills and finally found this amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is great, there's plenty of seating, and it's a perfect place to come with kids as well. We ordered the garlic edamame, hamburger steak, sashimi, some sushi and shrimp tempura. Everythin was absolutely delicious. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the hamburger steak was soooo good. This is my absolute favorite sushi spot. My fiancé and I come here a minimum of 2 times per week. The prices are insane! They have a deal for 3 rolls at $26. That can not be beat anywhere. And the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, they always recognize us when we come in and ask about how we're doing. I've done AYCE two times here and I usually get the nigiri. It takes a while to come out and unfortunately, there's just too much rice. I only really enjoy the salmon here so there isn't much variety for me. The yellowtail doesn't taste fresh and the Escolar gave me the bad side effects that can happen with butter fish but this usually doesn't happen at other places. I had a few super oily bowel movements after eating it and had a leaky bottom o.o Also, the eel was cold and chewy. The service was good but I am sad that the sushi wasn't up to standard. read more

We have been coming here for 8 years now our favorite sushi spot. The ambiance, service and food are amazing! Over the years weve tried new places but this place just feels like home always greeted with a warm welcome! My personal favorite is hot night but their miso soup is a MUST! The double dragon is delish also and baked salmon is very tasty too. I can't choose one so we do the dinner special. They have all you can eat also but honestly I'm full after 2 rolls. I came in for the AYCE $29 sushi and left very disappointed. We ordered appetizers which were decent, the sushi rice to fish ratio was something I had never seen before with so much rice, and rolls which were drenched in eel sauce. On top of that, the fish was dry and sushi rice was warm. Raw fish served over warm rice?! Overall, the quality reminded me of grocery store sushi, not restaurant quality. For the price, definitely not worth it. There are definitely better spots in Riverside to try out! read more

After many years supporting my local sushi spot the owner turned out to be a total ignorant ass ! If you run a business and sit in the office and then get the order wrong after I placed with the person that was there taking orders. Unfortunately your language barrier needs to be corrected and you should probably have someone at the front counter that is competent in getting orders correct . To the younger gentleman employee thank you for your kind words . This was my go to spot for sushi but after the negative experience I will not be supporting your business ! For their rolls I ended up getting their Asahi, Sour Candy, Okoku, and Las Vegas Roll. All of them were great and Sour Candy was my favorite with the lemon on top. The texture of the salmon was melt in you mouth. I totally forgot the names of the items I got but the salmon rolled crab meat was my favorite along with the Salmon belly. the sushi roll i got was recommended by our waitress it was good although I wished that they had used a little less i'm assuming sesame oil in the sauce because the flavor of peanut was a bit overwhelming and overshadowed the flavor from the Salmon and Tuna :/ . Overall I would recommend trying, you might meet some cool people. That was honestly the highlight of my experience. The sushi was good too. I would try them again. I would say 3.8/5 stars

When we arrived, it was packed and we were told there would be about a 20 minute wait after signing in, which we were fine with. Surprisingly, we were seated within about 5 minutes. Our waiter was amazing very attentive and on top of everything. The food came out in stages, which was actually great because it gave us time to enjoy one roll before the next arrived and kept the table from feeling crowded. The ambiance was perfect as well. This is definitely a new favorite!

I got the chicken teriyaki bento set which is about $24 and came with so much food - miso plus salad plus a half California or spicy tuna roll plus 4-piece veggie tempura. Everything was perfect in terms of portion size, temperature, taste and texture. Even my niece who is a pickly toddler ate and enjoyed a california rol. Everyone in our group loved their sushi. Everything was presented very beautifully and the fish was all fresh. The rice to fish and filling ratio was perfect, no too much rice. We ended our meal with a fried green tea ice cream which was fantastic and perfect to split amongst the four of us after all the delicious food before it. We met the owner who was a really nice guy too. Really surprised to find a solid sushi spot in the middle of the Riverside. I would not mind returning here anytime I'm back in the area!
