The lobster here is sooo good! The garlic butter they put on everything is absolutely delicious. Good portions for the price. The guys that were working that day were extremely nice. They even brought the food to our car right when it was done. My only complaint was I purchased extra ginger sauces but didn't receive them. Next time I'm going to check the bag before I leave. They were super busy so I can see how that could happen. Overall happy with my order and will be ordering again soon.

If Benihana is a 5, this place a solid 2. I gave them a call to ask about delivery and ordered through DoorDash (40-50% higher than in-person). I have no clue why they put me on speaker phone in the middle of the call and then hang up while I was talking. Solely based on the food, I can guess that they have about 8-10 servings of certain items sitting on the grill for a while instead of making everything fresh to order. The King's Supreme Platter comes with fried rice, veggies, NY steak, chicken, 5 shrimp, and 1 lobster tail. I also opted to add a side of garlic butter for $2. Let's start with the highlight of the platter, the shrimp. It was the only item that was cooked fresh to order. They were deveined and almost cooked perfectly. Slightly heavy on the black pepper but I think that's present throughout the entirety of this platter. We all know that it's quite hard to properly cook a lobster tail since it easily can become over cooked. Unfortunately, that was the case and the rest of the food follows that pattern. The veggies and fried rice looked average and they tasted average. Little clumps of hard and dry white rice mixed with soggy little pieces were present with a heavy coating of black pepper, cayenne/paprika, and soy sauce. Rice to egg to scallion ratio is around 92:6:2. Both the fried rice and veggies left a light coating of oil in my mouth. Some veggies were cooked properly and some were cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. NY steak was overdone. Dry without a proper sear and coated in black pepper. I was hoping that the garlic butter would save it but, the garlic butter turns out to be literal cold butter mixed with garlic powder... Forgetting about how bad and worthless the butter is, the chicken was drier than the steak. I tried to pair it with their ginger soy but that sauce smelled more pleasant than it tasted. I also tried to pair the chicken with their version of a sriracha mayo. It was slightly better but that definitely isn't a sriracha mayo. I had a higher hopes for this place but at the price of $70, I could have went to a proper teppanyaki place and not have to worry about possible food poisoning.

Some of the best hibachi style food I've had. Steak cooked as requested. Seasoning on point. Fried Rice was amazingly delicious. Perfectly cooked veggies. Yakisoba was awesome(should have got two). If your in the downtown riverside area head over to Pine St. And find the truck. You can thank me later.

This is literally the BEST hibachi in the IE. The food is seasoned very well and the sauces take it all to another level. The garlic butter is amazing. I got the "queen's trio" and it exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this spot and I will absolutely be back asap. read more

Wow wow wow wow. This place is FIRE. The location is nice and there's a decent amount of parking. I usually get the Queens trio with chicken, steak and shrimp. I love that when you get your steak rare-med/rare they actually cook it that way. The veggies are bomb and not soggy. The fried rice is super good as well. Everything is seasoned to perfection and the sauces are delicious. I've been here a few times and they're always so nice. Definitely check it out if you're craving hibachi read more

Man this place hit the spot after trying it out for the first time a few weeks ago I'm back today for a second round... Portions here are fairly good and the food though is excellent... A lot better then what I got down the street at that other hibachi food truck on mission... I recommend you try this place and be the judge for yourself... Yummy eats!!!! Benihana on wheels is an understatement because they give you more food! I'm in love with the dragon noodles. Going to ask them next time if I could have dragon sauce on the yakisoba noodles then name it after me lol. Thank you to the gal that is so patient with me asking a billion questions. I was looking for Hibachi, and i found this food truck. It's located really close to one of the trailhead to hike Mt. Rubidoux. I tried the garlic noodles and the shrimp/steak combo which also included fried rice and vegetables. I was not that impressed, and I've had better Hibachi. The pieces of steak were cut pretty small, and I had ordered it medium rare. It was more like well done. read more

10/10 stars this place is soooo freaking good! The portions are quite sizable so one entree can be shared with two people. We ordered the chicken, steak, shrimp combo with a side of yakisoba noodles and it was so good! I think riverside is lacking in good food spots but this is our new fave. The flavor is good. Considering the prices are pretty steep I would expect the steak to be cooked correctly. I ordered mine mid-rare and there is not a shred of pink in it. Service was acceptable. Overall, I'd consider trying it again. Our favorite was the noodles. read more

I love leaving honest reviews to support small businesses gave this place. A second try wasn't impressed. I ordered the Kings combo came with a couple pieces of shrimp paid extra for more steak. Instead they gave me more fat. They charge for garlic butter and this place is way overpriced. I would not recommend this place to any family or friends save yourself some time and money. read more

They were simply amazing. You get so much food for a great price, the food is made extremely quick as well. The service and overall vibe you get from the owner is awesome. He's definitely down to earth and made sure we bought what we really wanted. The knights meal and dragon noodles is what I got, and it was amazing. I would choose this place over Shogun and Benihana anyday of the week where i pay much less, receive much more in 1/4 of the time. Thanks again guys, I will be back very soon. read more

Avoid food truck in Hesperia on the corner or 7th and Ranchero. My husband treated us to dinner and I ordered the chicken plate. The lady who assisted me with my order asked if I wanted fried rice or steamed. I selected fried rice. she failed to tell us that would be $4 more. figuring it would be good so I didn't mind. The cashier also was very impersonal not telling Me how long the wait it would be. there was absolutely no one else ordering. Long story short waited 30 minutes in the freezing cold. lastly, once we got home everything tasted like shrimp or fish. Everything!!! if you have a allergy to shellfish or fish look out!!! Rice was gross. chicken was dry. This truck has poor cooks, and poor customer service. read more

Our meals were served around the same time and waiters regularly checked on our refills and if we needed anything. At one point, music turned loud and lights flashed, to celebrate someone's bday so something to be aware of that they do. Overall, our dining experience was satisfying. I was a big fan of the salmon carpaccio and the super sexy bowl. The fish tasted fresh and portions are large so you get your moneys worth. My companion did mention that their bulgogi had more onion than meat which was visibly notable. Definitely aim to visit again and will recommend this spot to others.

Oh no! They have an impressive menu, very diverse. I like that you can order either large sushi rolls, or the smaller, Happy Hour, 5 pc. size so you can try more and not hate yourself as much when you waddle out the door. The rolls are beautifully made, made with very fresh ingredients, the ratio of rice to filling is perfect (i.e. not too much rice), and the rice is nicely flavored. Their tempura has great flavor, the poke salad is outstanding, the miso soup is rich, not watered down, but the biggest "prize" IMHO is the fish collar (kama), either salmon or hamachi. Here is where you separate the men from the boys. They do not sell old kama that has come from a food supplier's bag, frozen. They only use fresh, the same quality as their sushi, because it comes from the same whole fish they have selected to filet for sushi. Taste it and you know you have hit the jackpot. Before they broil it, they simply slather Japanese mayo on it and salt & pepper. There is something about the mayo that makes it sing a whole new tune. The kama is moist, tender, and comes with their tasty, house ponzu sauce. It's a real treat. Bonus points for being very reasonably priced relative to other sushi houses and they tend to be larger as well. To take advantage of the Happy Hour menu, it is available every day of the week. Monday through Thursday until 7pm, Friday through Sunday until 5 pm. It's an abbreviated menu but has great choices, fairly priced. Their service is tops, seating is limited (probably not more than 40), the interior is warm and quaint, and parking is no problem. And don't forget to respond to their friendly farewell with a duplicate, heartfelt "See you tomorrow" as you leave! Enjoy!
