    Salmon sushi burrito

This place is awesome! Came in here for the first time the other day and wasn't disappointed, every single item was fresh and delicious, I got there sushi burrito and honestly it was out of this world especially for the price! I also got a tropical breeze fruit smoothie that was just amazing (subbed strawberry for banana) staff was extremely friendly and respectful even with all the questions I was asking haha the feel of this place was also nice with plenty of space with good vibes, would totally recommend this place and come here again!

Super delicious and fresh pokebowl! I chose the make your own. I chose salad with spicy salmon and all these delicious sides (mango, kale, cucumber, onion, edamame, onion crisp, kani salad, kimchi, dried seaweed with their special sauce). It was sooo delicious and satisfied my craving for spicy salmon. Their sparkling passion fruit tea was delicious, not too sweet, and very refreshing! Love this shop - I usually go to the 86th street one but this one (the original shop) is as good.

I ordered a salmon poke bowl and it's missing the salmon. So disappointing since the order also took long to arrive.

Always always always amazing. I've only ordered on ubereats so I can't speak on the ambiance but it's a hit everytime. So fresh, tasty, consistent & well portioned. I've never had an issue ordering on ubereats either. We also love a buy one get one! So worth it for sure.

So glad there's a good poke bowl place in the neighborhood. The raw fish is fresh and the flavors are good. The bowls are pretty big and filling. I would come back again.

Great lunch spot. Format of ordering is like chipotle, you choose the format you would like for your poké. You choose the type, the protein, the sauce and the add ons. It's quite straight forward and the staff is fast at preparation. You can choose to up to three proteins, the photos shown only contains one protein each but they are already pretty big. Perfect portion for lunch, avocados is a added cost of $1.25, but it just won't be the same without the avocados.

It was my first time here and I really liked the process. You grab a slip and choose what you want in your bowl. I had the Salmon Oasis. The salmon was fresh and delicious. Really hit the spot since I couldn't eat this when I was pregnant. Will definitely be back.

Mainly giving 2 stars because of the protein, which are supposed to be the star of poke dishes. There were only a few small pieces of tuna. The scallops were awful and tiny. They were taken out of the freezer and served. The scallops tasted like ice cubes because of no seasoning or anything. They were still probably thawing because the scallops melted and made my bowl slightly watery. The rice was not like sushi rice, which was what I ordered. It tasted like it was cooked on another day and wasn't fresh. I barely got any lettuce. My bowl was mainly poke special sauce. I didn't like the sauce because it might have had honey mustard and was way too spicy. I had a hard time having the poke because of the sauce. It would be nice if we could fill out sauce level on the card. I believe the bowl was slightly cheaper than other poke places I have been to, but I rather pay more for higher quality or have the expensive ingredients not on the menu for the time being with inflation affecting food prices. There was a sign when I came in the place about inflation affecting the restaurant. I feel like this place does better in deserts and drinks. A lot of people seemed to be enjoying deserts even though the restaurant's name screams poke. My bowl definitely felt like it was lacking a lot of things and more like a rice bowl. I also noticed there was so much edamame probably because it is a cheaper ingredient.

Build Your Own ($14.95) - super filling, flavorful, and fresh!

You will always have a poke craving from time to time. I ordered a Build Your Own ($14.95): Sushi Rice, Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Cucumber, Cherry Tomato, Edamame, Mango, Shitake Mushroom, Cilantro, Kani Salad, Seaweed Salad, with Poke Special, Balsamic Mustard, Wasabi Aioli for sauces, and Crispy Garlic, Roasted Seaweed, and Fish Flakes for crunch. (Did I write all that so I remember for next time? Yes I did!). I don't know if it's because I haven't had poke from them in a while, or they stepped up their game during quarantine, but wow was I impressed! Everything was presented beautifully, and the ingredients were all super fresh! Nothing was missing, and they gave plentiful portions of everything! Their sauces are also so good!! I'm looking mainly at you, Wasabi Aioli. I am so grateful this is like the only place in Sunset Park that offers poke. I will always order from them again.

This is my go to spot for poke bowls. I always create my own poke with shrimp as my protein. This time, I went with the salmon with brown rice, kani and seaweed salad, and corn. I was disappointed by the proportion of brown rice to salmon. They definitely skimped out in the salmon, I counted 5 cubes of Salmon lol. The entire bowl was filled with brown rice. Regardless, I'm giving them 5 stars because it's still good food and it's the only hiccup I've ever experienced with them thus far!

it was pretty good , decent quality. However the topping doesn't taste as fresh and tasty as my usual 86th street go to spot. Overall still good. Have good amount that I have half portion for another meal. Always love their combo deals .

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

It was a bit warm at our table, and the friendly staff moved us to a cooler area. To drink, I ordered the Wolf's Fang for $18, a blend of rums, falernum, arak, passionfruit, orange, and oat milk. As described, it was their take on a milk punch, and wasn't too sweet with a bright hint of citrus. I would recommend it. The hummus was good, being thick with a strong tahini flavor, though I have preferred others. Outside of the hummus, the daily salatim included a mix of mostly pickled items. First, there was some pickled cauliflower and carrots with a bit of turmeric. The second salatim was a more unique and spicier pineapple slaw, which was refreshing, and had some herbal flavor from parsley or something similar. The third was a cabbage slaw, which was alright, as I found it a bit too lightly seasoned. The last was a mix of cucumbers, olives, and other pickles, which was standard and tasty. Alongside all of this, the pita was warm and fresh, and the staff refilled everything when we asked. For the main course, I chose the Steak Shashlik, which they spell as shishlik, for $46, which came with tahini and some pickled onions. The steak was tender and well seasoned, and the tahini added a distinctive nuttiness. I especially enjoyed making a mini sandwich with the steak, tahini, pineapple pickle, and pita. Others at the table ordered the Spicy Lamb Kofta and other shashlik options, including Chicken and Trout. In terms of sides, someone got the $15 Fries with tahina ketchup, which they enjoyed. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal, with no one ordering dessert as a few walked over to the tasty Bertoni Gelato nearby. This place is a tad expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Even as a fan of pickles, I wish the salatim were a bit more varied, such as including an eggplant or bean-based mezze. I presume the dinner version is a bit more varied, as there are many more salatim, but they should put a bit more effort into the lunch one as well.

The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste.
