I had this little piece done by Drew Reyes and while I know it's small, sometimes those types of tattoos are the most challenging. He is really a great tattoo artist. But after hearing about similar situations…read morehappening to another woman, I have decided to share my bad and inappropriate experience at Forbidden Images by the owner and artist Litos. I have many tattoos, and this was not my first tattoo. I had 3 sessions with Litos and each one gradually grew to be worse. My first session should have been my first sign to leave but I blew it off as his artistic ways and just let it go. But during our first break to get up and get a drink he started to massage my shoulders. I thought how weird I had never gotten a massage during a tattoo before. I walked back to the chair and just dismissed it. In my second session with him, he hinted to me I should be wearing shorts, why when the tattoo I was receiving was on my arm? The way I was positioned while he was tattooing me, had me very uncomfortable. He had my arm and hand directly at his crotch and every time I tried to move it, he would position me back. With a needle at my arm, I felt so uncomfortable and so confused. Is he really doing what I think he is doing? Lastly, my third and final session for I chose to find a new artist. When the tattoo was being done, he tried to touch my feet. Like why? My tattoo is on my arm. Then when he was wrapping my arm when it was complete, he pulled me down on his lap and put his hand on my private. Over clothes yes but 100% inappropriate. I did not go back to him nor will I. I cannot say as to the other artist at Forbidden Images, but I highly recommend you do not go there to see Litos (the owner). I just wonder how many other people he has victimized. As the more time goes on, I realize he knew exactly what he was doing. For instance, the shoulder massage, was done in the back room. The private touching was done in the office, why are you wrapping my arm in an office and not wear you tattooed me? To be off camera? Just so many questions I have now that I can think more clearly of it. He is a predator, and I was his victim. I have heard of things he did to other women that are far worse than my story. But I am speaking up to hopefully prevent anything like this happening again.

Upon arrival we checked in and waited for the artist to set up her station and prepare the stencils for the art. In total we were in the shop for about 5-6 hours for the piece and ran out of time for my friend to have her second one done, however she absolutely loved how the cover up turned out. The color schemes were exactly what she wanted, and the shading was well done. There will have to be some additional shading done in another session but it was still a beautiful piece.

So here I am! I will be tagging the pictures of the text and pictures. My best friend and I did matching bestie vacation tattoos. We brought our own stencils and made this idiot proof. Now for matching tattoos, my tattoo and my best friends tattoo did not look the same at all after the session. Granted we were tattooed by different artist but I even stated while being tattooed that her lines were not in there very good. It was way too light on the line work and zero shading. I knew upon healing she would lose the lines as both of us have a lot of tattoos. We did make the girls aware we had both went to the beach that day. As we were on vacation and we would be on a boat the next day. Julia still wanted to do the tattoo. Julia is the one that did my best friends tattoo. For the fact we were to be on a boat the next day is also why the tattoos were covered with derm shield. My tattoo is perfect again shout out to Jae. Now my best friends tattoo had to be completely redone. This was not a small tattoo! My issue now is the owner attacking my best friend and calling Julia a victim. While getting tattooed my best friend and I were in the same room and she is going through some serious issues with her husband. We were talking about the situation in a round about way in the beginning then the girls tattooing us were like girl give us the tea. So tiff opened up about things going on. No different than a trip to a salon. When tiff was not satisfied with the tattoo then text back from the owner was attacking and unprofessional. So if you go to this establishment please beware of what you decide to talk to your artist about anything it can and will be turned into some traumatizing event that Julia cannot handle "uncomfortable sexual energy!" My best friend is married to a MAN and was not hitting on Julia in any way. If anything tiff was very accommodating and understanding about Julia's extracurriculars and allowed for Julia to excuse herself for almost an hour to step out and get high. This is illegal activity permitted at your establishment. When offered Tiff politely declined and even stated she worked for the police department back home. The owner then stated the audacity to leave a review after what we put her girls through. Woman you attacked a vulnerable woman going through a marital crisis, along with a bad tattoo (which is permanent) then heartlessly called your talentless artist a victim. Very unprofessional. All while drugs were pushed onto my best friend while just trying to get a vacation tattoo. See how things can get spun around here. Well the beauty of Google review and public opinion is being able to warn the public. These tattoos are permanent and all my best friend asked for was compensation as she had to go pay another artist to fix a disaster. The tattoo was horrible, Julia is not talented and no one said we couldn't go boating the next day. Furthermore Tiffany's skin is not burnt as I will post the picture. She had been tanning for weeks before the trip. As for us wanting to return to your establishment!?!? Why would she want to come back for a horrible tattoo? I personally have zero issues not returning. I really hope Jae takes her talents elsewhere as this establishment is classless and has zero integrity. Thanks!

This was a big decision to make for me because it is my daughter and also because she wanted it to be a special event for both of us. (I originally was going to have it done with her, but I didn't want to take the 8 week hiatus from swimming for the aftercare. Ok ok, truth be told, I wanted her to get it done first to assess the pain factor.) Anyways, I talk too much....I called and pestered them several times with questions, even after thoroughly reading their website several times. They were friendly and informative every time. The studio is clean. They require a consent form for those under 18 to be signed in front of a notary. However, certain days, they do have one on staff; just call ahead. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Rich was very thorough at explaining everything and even advised me where to stand to get the best view. It was quick and easy. And according to her, minimal pain. So maybe, just maybe, I'll be back to get mine pierced.
