I was nervous about getting both nostrils pierced due to the risk of them being uneven, but Ryan worked with me until I felt comfortable about the position about both of them. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gave me great advice on the location of the piercings based on the jewelry I wanted to wear, and provided easily digestible information about the healing process/piercing care. The store was clean and Ryan kept a sterile work environment. I will absolutely go back to see him for any other piercings I get in the future! read more

I've been to plenty of tattoo shops, throughout my life, for piercings, and I'm telling you, the first time I came in here for a lip piercing, they blew me away. They were so nice, and comforting. My best friend and I came and got matching nose rings the other day. This place is a Tampa staple and has been here for as long as I can remember. It's been renovated and changed since I've been here 10+ years ago. Very nice changes though. Very clean and sanitary so don't let the look of the area deter you. We were serviced by Ryan and he was amazing. I, personally, was nervous, but honestly my entire process was quick and relatively painless! He is such a professional. I will be coming here for all my piercing needs as well if I ever want to change my nose ring out. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Laetitia has been nothing short of amazing! I am so glad I did my research and found an artist that has so much experience and does great work in all styles of tattoos. I have been coming to Laetitia for over a yr now- she's worked on my half sleeve, & multiple leg pieces. Her work is phenomenal. She knows exactly what look I'm aiming for and knows my style at this point. This shop is extremely clean and takes sanitation very seriously. I don't usually write reviews. But Angel Tattoo is my new favorite place to go. Elvis did two of my tattoos, and they were phenomenal. Very professional place and he made sure I liked the placement. He also ensured that i knew the needle was brand new and sterilized on top of that. And to top off my experience, he gave me a discount for sitting so well. I went in for the Friday 13th piercing special and wasn't disappointed! Don't let the looks of the strip mall distract you, it's a little shady looking outside but inside is nice and cozy! It's not a very large shop, but that's okay!!I got four piercings done in total for 100$ (I tipped extra). Piercings were $13 with a mandatory 7$ tip (totally acceptable). My piercer, Laetitia, was amazing and patient. The girls are the front desk were super friendly and patient. For the Friday the 13th specials on piercings were listed on a sheet right up front and the 31$ tattoos were listed by the door. Due to the amazing special there was definitely a wait to get piercings done, which was totally fine! I got there later in the evening so I totally expected the wait. When it came time for anyone to get their piercings done, only the person getting pierced was allowed to go back. Completely understandable as I mentioned the shop is not overly large. When it was my turn I was led back to a private room and Laetitia took her time to position my piercings correctly and making sure I liked them. From there it was a quick process and she made sure to explain what she was going to do right before she did it. Please note simple jewelry (see photo) was used for the Friday the 13th special! Its nothing super fancy or elegant, but for the quality of work and affordability of the piercing itself, jewelry can always be changed out later! I definitely would return here to have Laetitia do more of my piercings! read more

Highly recommend this shop! I got my cartilage (helix) pierced a couple weeks ago and have no complaints. I had gotten the same area pierced about a year ago at a different shop & the piercing got so infected, I had to take it out & wait for it to heal before I re-pierced it. I was worried this would happen again, but the healing process has been amazing! The woman who pierced my ear was very knowledge and explained everything she was doing in detail. She def knows what she's doing & has been doing it for several years! She was very kind and said if I had any issues to come back to the shop and she would take care of me right away. She even offered me a back to school discount for USF students and I got $10 off! I will totally be returning to the shop for any piercing needs in the future and would recommend anyone to check it out! read more

My first tattoo. Amazing job by Laetitia. Did my consultation online and they emailed me back the next day with a quote and follow up questions. We later set up an appointment by phone. For tattoos $100 and up you need to pay a $50 deposit fee. The session lasted 4hrs with one break (tattoos hurt more than I expected). My tattoo was $300, but I feel the final product is honestly worth more. The artist truly cares for her work, and asked me to come back in a few months to check on the healing process of the ink and do touch ups if necessary. They also gave me some extra derma wrap to protect my ink for the first 5 days. read more

I was recommended by a few friends to see Laetitia for my first tattoo. I was pretty nervous but she spent so much time making sure it was something I loved and is definitely the most trustworthy artist you could go to. She has owned the shop for 7 years (she's been tattooing even longer, having a shop in France before moving here) and I even got my second lobe piercing while I was there from her husband. Both were VERY clean and informative and I could not recommend this place more. When I was there, I was the only person in the entire shop besides Laetitia, her husband and one man at the front desk which was a great first experience for me. A few tips before going in: *the door is locked at all times so you have to be let in and out by the man at the front desk (not sketchy at all, very understandable because of the area the shop is in and it is Tampa ) *bring cash for payment! using card there is a 2.9% service fee (not bad at all but personally I know cash is better for a small business) *ALL appointments are done online via a form, there are no walk ins other than for piercings read more

Edit: Angel, the owner has now sent me 3 messages and 2 "compliments" on my profile about how I should go get HIV somewhere else -- extremely insensitive to people with this disease. She admitted the artist over charged me too. She sends me long, weirdly punctuated rambles about her salon. Please do not go here. Edit: after not responding to her messages, she has called me a "retarded kid". I can't even make this up! This place was nice and a very legit tattoo parlor but I'll never go back. They charge an UNREAL amount. I honestly believe that they took advantage of me because it was my first tattoo. I should've done better research on the pricing of tattoos before coming here. I paid $80 for each 1inch black tattoo (pictured). It took 15 minutes. They also made us wait 45 minutes between tattoos "because the artist was in the back talking to the piercer" - quoted from someone who worked there. Went in with my daughter so she could get her nose piercing. We called ahead and they told us about the consent that needed to be notarized before hand- that was great! When we walked in- greeted by friendly front desk. Went to the back and he made us feel comfortable- talked to my daughter about any concerns- it was done in in a matter seconds and just as he described it would be. Everything was clean- sterilized and done w care. He walked thru proper care for the site and we even bought all we needed before we walked out. Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

However, they seem unaware that tattoo artists are people. People who get sick, people who move, people who may go to prison, and people who sometimes die. That is what happened to my tattoo artist, he died and was unable to finish my tattoo. I submitted my situation on the website of Devil Tattoo...my bad...Angel tattoo, along with a picture of the unfinished job ( which of course contained my skin color) for an evaluation. I received a reply that reads " Unfortunately but we do not touch other artists' tattoo work". What is unfortunate is their lack of understanding, compassion, and empathy. 1 negative star Re: I also submitted the same evaluations to 6 other tattoo companies in the Tampa area and all 6 replied that they would be honored to finish the job. read more

I received a nose piercing at this shop. Everyone was really nice. It's a small place but they were very clean. The piercer (I cant remember her name) was great. She walked me through all of the steps and made sure she taught me how to maintain and clean my piercing. I absolutely recommend this shop and would do business with them again. read more
