This was a big decision to make for me because it is my daughter and also because she wanted it to be a special event for both of us. (I originally was going to have it done with her, but I didn't want to take the 8 week hiatus from swimming for the aftercare. Ok ok, truth be told, I wanted her to get it done first to assess the pain factor.) Anyways, I talk too much....I called and pestered them several times with questions, even after thoroughly reading their website several times. They were friendly and informative every time. The studio is clean. They require a consent form for those under 18 to be signed in front of a notary. However, certain days, they do have one on staff; just call ahead. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Rich was very thorough at explaining everything and even advised me where to stand to get the best view. It was quick and easy. And according to her, minimal pain. So maybe, just maybe, I'll be back to get mine pierced.

I booked an appointment online for a tattoo consultation. I received a confirmation and arrived as scheduled at 12:45. After standing outside the door knocking for a few minutes, I called. The woman on the phone first said there was no appointment, then changed her story and said it must have just come in and that the artist couldn't meet with me because he was in a 6 hour session. I did appreciate that after I told her I couldn't come back later in the day, she took down what I wanted and said she'd speak to him. I wanted a VERY small addition to an existing tattoo. She said she'd get back to me "within 2 hours." More than 4 hours later, I called back for an update. She was very rude on the phone, saying "I told you he was in a 6 hour session." She said she didn't want to bother me if he hadn't looked at my request, but we had texted already so I don't really see how a "it'll be a bit longer than expected" text would be a bother. Anyways, I didn't receive any sort of response until the following afternoon, more than 24 hours after my scheduled appointment time. In the text, I was told that the artist would only do the tattoo addition if it was doubled in size (something I specifically said I didn't want), that it would cost $500, that he was booked out for 4 months, and that to have any sort of sketch I had to put down a deposit. I've gotten tattoos before and would *absolutely* pay that much and wait that long for something that's going on my body, if it was what I wanted. However, the fact that the service was so bad even for a simple 30 minute consultation and that he wasn't even willing to discuss doing anything the size I wanted ensured me this was not going to be a good fit.

Upon arrival we checked in and waited for the artist to set up her station and prepare the stencils for the art. In total we were in the shop for about 5-6 hours for the piece and ran out of time for my friend to have her second one done, however she absolutely loved how the cover up turned out. The color schemes were exactly what she wanted, and the shading was well done. There will have to be some additional shading done in another session but it was still a beautiful piece.

Now my review comes after I was asked to not come back by the owner and I have not said a word about my friends tattoo or her review. She's a grown woman and can hold her own until she needs me. So here I am! I will be tagging the pictures of the text and pictures. My best friend and I did matching bestie vacation tattoos. We brought our own stencils and made this idiot proof. Now for matching tattoos, my tattoo and my best friends tattoo did not look the same at all after the session. Granted we were tattooed by different artist but I even stated while being tattooed that her lines were not in there very good. It was way too light on the line work and zero shading. I knew upon healing she would lose the lines as both of us have a lot of tattoos. We did make the girls aware we had both went to the beach that day. As we were on vacation and we would be on a boat the next day. Julia still wanted to do the tattoo. Julia is the one that did my best friends tattoo. For the fact we were to be on a boat the next day is also why the tattoos were covered with derm shield. My tattoo is perfect again shout out to Jae. Now my best friends tattoo had to be completely redone. This was not a small tattoo! My issue now is the owner attacking my best friend and calling Julia a victim. While getting tattooed my best friend and I were in the same room and she is going through some serious issues with her husband. We were talking about the situation in a round about way in the beginning then the girls tattooing us were like girl give us the tea. So tiff opened up about things going on. No different than a trip to a salon. When tiff was not satisfied with the tattoo then text back from the owner was attacking and unprofessional. So if you go to this establishment please beware of what you decide to talk to your artist about anything it can and will be turned into some traumatizing event that Julia cannot handle "uncomfortable sexual energy!" My best friend is married to a MAN and was not hitting on Julia in any way. If anything tiff was very accommodating and understanding about Julia's extracurriculars and allowed for Julia to excuse herself for almost an hour to step out and get high. This is illegal activity permitted at your establishment. When offered Tiff politely declined and even stated she worked for the police department back home. The owner then stated the audacity to leave a review after what we put her girls through. Woman you attacked a vulnerable woman going through a marital crisis, along with a bad tattoo (which is permanent) then heartlessly called your talentless artist a victim. Very unprofessional. All while drugs were pushed onto my best friend while just trying to get a vacation tattoo. See how things can get spun around here. Well the beauty of Google review and public opinion is being able to warn the public. These tattoos are permanent and all my best friend asked for was compensation as she had to go pay another artist to fix a disaster. The tattoo was horrible, Julia is not talented and no one said we couldn't go boating the next day. Furthermore Tiffany's skin is not burnt as I will post the picture. She had been tanning for weeks before the trip. As for us wanting to return to your establishment!?!? Why would she want to come back for a horrible tattoo?
