There is only one food stall towards the back that sells prepared dishes. Lines gets very long but moves very fast. There also isn't many seating due to the small space. I came mainly for the food stall in the back which I believe their business name is called dockside fish.

There's a lot very close by but parking is $8 ($5 if you get validation by making a $10 purchase in one of the shops at Seaport Village). A lot was sold out by the time we got there so I would recommend coming early in the morning. They had fishmongers scaling and cleaning fish off the pier and a wide array of fresh fish by the pound (prices were very affordable). When we were there, there was one "cooked foods" booth with clam chowder, ceviche, fish and chips, uni hand rolls, etc. Prices were fair but the line was long so we opted to skip it. Much of the menu was sold out by that time anyway. Food looked decent based on what I saw others eating. Overall it's worth a stop if you're in the area, want to do some shopping at Seaport Village, can find parking, etc. Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth a trip per se.

There's only street parking nearby so it can be tricky to find parking depending on the time and day. There's plenty of outside and inside seating and you can find a seat after placing your order at the counter. Ambience reminds me of a small fish market. The menu has a variety of seafood options which you can have cooked different ways. There are also sides and specials of the day. The food is always tasty and fresh. Prices are fair for seafood and the service is good.

I asked her what she wanted and she said, "seafood", so I immediately thought of Blue Water, and we drove right over. We parked at a metered spot nearby & walked in at 5pm. Do note that there is no dedicated parking for Blue Water, so at busy times it may be tricky to find a spot, but we had no trouble today. In the main dining ordering area & on the side patio, there were a few tables that were occupied, but there was no ordering line. All of us wanted shrimp today apparently, so my dad and I both got a shrimp taco with lemon garlic butter & my hungry mom got the shrimp platter also with lemon garlic butter. The platter came with 8 shrimp, jasmine rice, and a lovely, fresh garden salad. The server who took our order and brought it out to us was very helpful & nice. They have a ton of fresh seafood on offer though so if shrimp is not your thing, there will likely be another delightful offering from the sea that will suit your fancy. We sat in the side patio area and it was very pleasant. We enjoyed our experience this evening very much! The tacos were big and had more than 5 shrimp in them, plus cabbage, pico, cheddar cheese & white sauce. One taco was pretty decently sized. If I'd been hungrier, two tacos would've been perfect, but today, I was happy with one taco. Yum! Mom enjoyed her platter. It was beautifully prepared. Blue Water also has a decent soft drink selection and beers and wine, but we all just had their water and it was very refreshing! :) By the time we left at 5:45, a line was forming out the door, so we really came out at a good time. Peace!

Big Ben Specialty Market is a stellar food outlet that I would have totally missed if I hadn't…read morevisited the new Market on 8th Street the day before. I get the feeling this fantastic food center is well-known in the area, so I probably don't need to write a Yelp novel on it. Still, there area a number of things that stood out to me. First, this store is impressively arranged - wherever you go you know the area you're in and what to expect to find. This goes from the food counters, fruit and veggie area, etc. Second, its organization and cleanliness is off-the-charts! It makes it easy to purchase things without reservation. All the food counters were very well-stocked - meats, cheese offerings, and cooked to-go items - it all looked great. I noticed that there always seemed to be someone among the employees either fixing shelves, stocking, or cleaning - it's no surprise the shop's appearance inside is so impressive! But today I took advantage of my opportunity to bypass frozen food for a change! I picked up some shrimp cevicha and six pieces of backed BBQ chicken. Yes! It was awesome too! The shrimp cevicha had some heat that I overcame with a sugared drink and the chicken was very moist and cooked perfectly. My standard for shops like these has always been Iowa Meat Farms. But I'm sure Big Ben's would tell us that Iowa Meat Farms has nothing on or over them! And that would be great! Because Big Ben Specialty Market is truly remarkable in its own right! Its excellent customer service will make it easy for me to come back here when I'm in the area often! Recommend: HIGH
